Inclusion Challenge!
This challenge is super easy:
Include someone!
Find someone who you don’t normally talk to. Say hi! Strike up a conversation! Even if it’s small talk.
“Hey, did you catch the game last night?”
“Dude… She gave us sooooo much homework, didn’t she??”
“Hey, I have extra pastries. Would you like one?”
“Love your shirt!”
Or just say hi to someone you don’t normally talk to.
Focus on those, especially, who often fall under the radar, people who aren’t always treated as equals… Those with physical or mental differences, the people who don’t speak your language, people who do the maintenance work at your job, people who are minorities, people who are unhoused, etc.
A coworker, an acquaintance, the bagger at the grocery store. Someone whose name you don’t know, or haven’t talked to much.
Choose them. Include them. Draw them into a conversation with you and other friends. Ask them questions.
You could be saving their life.
Share your journey with us! Tell us who you meet, who becomes an unexpected friend, who lights up when you choose to see and acknowledge and love them. Share the love <3
I will add a taglist, but this challenge is open to everyone, new or old, teen or adult! Share this challenge with your offline friends as well <3

I'm going to tag an old friend of mine from here.
@HealingTime are you here? I've missed you. I hope you're doing well.
@jesusredeemedme2425 This is a lovely initiative. I’m not sure if they’re still active on 7 Cups but I’d love to tag @wIthpeACE and ask—how have you been? You were one of the very first people to ever comment on my poems and I hope you're doing well.

Not a super easy challenge for someone as introverted and socially awkward as I am.
Heck I barely even strike up conversation with my own employees at work.
Just say hi to someone then :)
@braindamag3
I completely agree and can relate,
being introverted, social anxiety, and other things, it can be hard to make the first move. to start a conversation or put yourself out there. however think that we can find our own ways to let someone know that they are included, seen, and appreciated.
And i think that stepping outside of our comfort zone is a good thing, thats where we grow and learn. I think its easier to be outside comfort zone when its for kindness and making someone else feel better, or included. Can give a good reason to try something new
@jesusredeemedme2425
I usually talk to everyone, they might be fed up if me by now but will try it out 🤣💜
Try someone new! Even a stranger in a store <3
Is that an Ireland thing or an Amanda thing? ;)
@jesusredeemedme2425
An Amanda thing 😂😂

I believe this is exactly the kind of compassion Jesus was talking about.
Recently, I had a good conversation with someone who I thought was lost. I knew of her, but someone had tainted my view of her. It turned out we have a lot in common. She also has autism and ADHD, listens to a lot of music, and struggles with the basics. We talked for probably hours, and it made me realise I shouldn't form opinions of people until I have experienced them directly. So, she changed my life for the better.
Kindness from a stranger can be transformational. I know it has brightened my day in the past. I have memories of strangers I didn't give my time to, and I regret that. I don't remember much because of my bad memory, but these memories of strangers are core. So, I will heed your advice and take the time to be gentle and kind to those that I don't know, especially those that may really need it.
I truly love this challenge!
I have been on the receiving end of being excluded and gosh it hurts!
Kindness can go such a long way. A simple smile, checkin, conversation, sharing of food, or invite, can go such a long way. Be kind, choose love, choose compassion!
