Last try to make people aware (trigger warning)
We are all aware and educated from a young age about all the different dangers and kinds of abuse. Except for one, religious cults 😢 I was born into a christian cult. Sexually assaulted by many people beaten and tortured. After the law enforcement rescued me 3 and a half years ago I had no identity no name. It took them a while to convince me I was really a human. Now I'm in a wheelchair. A broken spine some missing limbs. But safe ❤ I know I'm not the only one in this site that has suffered in the same ways by theese cults. And the thing is many children many people are suffering still, in terrible ways. I don't know how to help stop this, but I was hoping if more people are aware, then maybe together we will stop this, oneday

im so sorry you went through this! is there any way you could spread awareness about the cult (im assuming you wouldn't be allowed to talk about it?) or maybe any red flags to watch out while joining a new society ect?
@peacefulLove7659 yeah I'm not supposed to talk about it. I'm not allowed to use social media sites. But my carers said I'm safe to use 7 cups, I don't know how to help or how else to make people aware that this is happening
@Tinywhisper11 I am just glad you are free to use 7cups and am really glad to have come across you. You are a survivor and beautiful inside and out. I think the fact you are brave enough to share your story and let people in that that is your way of letting the horrible subject out there to spread awareness. Life is beautiful but some of the people in it are cruel. Yes, we all have potential for good and bad in us all but what happened to you... no human being deserves that. You are human, Tiny- a beautiful one at that! I am so proud of you for all you have overcome and proud of you for not letting that trauma and abuse turn your heart cold. You are loved, special, important, and valuable. Take care always and keep that sense of humor I love about you! <3

Not only is this cult the most disgusting thing I've ever heard of, I'm also lucky enough to know what kind of amazing person Tiny is, and I take what they've done to her and other children very personally.
That said... I'd like to spread awareness in any way that I can. I've done a little research on cults like this, but I'm not sure what to do with the info as of yet. I'd genuinely like to make a difference, so any ideas are welcome.

@Tinywhisper11 This past year has been an emotional and theological adventure for me. On YT there is a lot of discernment ministries. Some are better than others. In the past, I didn't like them. I felt like nobody is perfect so you will always find something wrong with any teacher, if you look close enough. But after my recent research and the pain it has caused me, I began to realize that Christian Cults are everywhere. Most of them are not as physically abusive as the one you were raised in. But all of them are spiritually abusive. They twist and stretch the meaning of the scriptures, and even come up with cleaver ways of adding additional ideas and practices that the Bible doesn't even explicitly tell a follower of Jesus to do! All of these cults attract their members by teaching good things while subtly mixing it with the bad. As a result you kinda get into without realizing what your getting into. Then they start to twist your mind, and you don't even realize it is being twisted. I'm glad that discernment ministries are calling these people out! My advice is this, if you are a Christian or is thinking about becoming one. Get a good translation of the Bible. Something you can read or listen too. And read it. You need to come to decent understanding of it before you expose yourself to the Bible teachers.

Im Muslim and I've been deeply angered by the works of the extremists who associate themselves with the faith. I didnt know violence was ongoing in Christian groups as well.
