Changes a it from time to time. It always supports going from a teen to adult account at 7 cups.
Sometimes there has also been focus on being a peer support area for the older teens/younger adults.
You are also welcome in the 20 & Over community.
* Changes on what support it includes
Been on that forum i asked and they said “then its not for you” so 🫤 hurt a bit. Could try 20 and over but im not sure
@berrycheesecake90 ❤️❤️
@berrycheesecake90 I agree with you 🤍 there's no specific community for young adults other than aging up support community which's not mainly for 18-20 yr olds. You're not alone ❤️ maybe you could try adult-teen listeners or simply put a disclaimer that you're a young adult so people have an idea of where you're coming from ❤️ Sending you all my love ❤️❤️❤️

Very young adult* / 18,19 and 20 ❤️
@berrycheesecake90Just to give you some history- the 35+/50+ areas started because for quite a while the vast majority of users were under 25. Teens had an area as it's actually badge-locked (ie. I can't view it) and then others wanted something so 20+ started. 20+, 35+ and 50+ are all fairly inclusive though, as long as the overall intention is respected (and sometimes threads do get moved elsewhere if they don't fit well for the community).
The Aging Up area has definitely hosted things about gaining adult life-skills so I'm surprised someone told you it wasn't for you, even if there wasn't currently something like that occurring, past threads can still be helpful!
@Tommy can you offer some clarity on this?
Thank you Affy, you've nailed it perfectly here!
@berrycheesecake90
Whilst we do not have a community specifically for 18 and 19 year olds, our Aging Up Community was created for that stage in mind (as well as aging up specifically on 7 Cups) and would absolutely be a space you're welcome in. I'm really sorry to hear you had a negative experience, if you'd like to elaborate or provide feedback on your experience, please do, my DMs are open for you.
As for our other communities, there are no strict age requirements (except for our Teen Only Zone which is badge locked specifically for teens and adult-teen listeners). For example, you do not need to be 20 to participate in the 20+ community or 50 for the 50+ community. These communities were created to provide a space for people to interact with others of a similar age and to discuss similar life ages/experiences.
You are also more than welcome to participate in our other communities should you find a topic that relates well to what you want to discuss, for example, General Support, Healthy Living, LGBTQ, Autism, Hobby Zone etc etc.
Please let me know if I can help in any way 😃
@tommy also question how can you delete posts?
@berrycheesecake90
There is not any option for deleting a forum post on Cups, you can simply report your own post and ask for request, for removing/ deletion of the post 🤍
*Biggggg hugs* 🐾💕
