@user7676878788 I have never done drugs, but I have struggled with food addiction. I know that is not the same thing. But you are not alone. My friend's sister has struggled with meth addiction. And I know that shame and feeling weak can make you isolated. So, if you need to talk to someone, message me. I am a high school teacher. Young people are the joy of my life, and I would be glad to include you in my joy.
@used7676878788 I don't have experience of drugs but I overcame other temptations that I wanted to choose from the desire to escape sadness .. I did it through self love. Show yourself and your life circumstances more acceptance and compassion . I hope you find help you're looking for. You can do this - slowly and steadily !

@user7676878788 Hi! it's okay that you feel this way. I had a friend who struggled with the exact same problem and he would always tell us that he wouldn't do it anymore but he always did- you such as him are not your addiction, it's like a parasite that forces you to do things you don't want. I don't know if there is more to it or if it's just the addiction that keeps you going, but something that helped my friend was to talk to people who were genuinely kind and worried abt him, and also transitioning to a softer drug, even if more frequently- bc it ended up being easier to than cut it down to smaller amounts. I'm sorry that you are going through this and hope you get better
First of all be completely compassionate with yourself. You did the most important thing and the biggest step admitting there’s an addiction. I don’t have any professional experience in addiction but I’d like to say to be completely kind to yourself. Addiction is a disease and so many struggle with it. Recovery isn’t going to be easy but it is possible. God bless
