some warmth requested
I have a minor surgical procedure tomorrow which involves receiving injections.
Ive had it before once and there was some pain that made me little dizzy but in the end i was okay. So it was manageable.
Yet Im worried about round two.
Will everything go smoothly this time? Will the pain be manageable ? (the baby in you never stops fearing , no matter how much of an adult you become.)
Any words of support are appreciated. Hugs too 🩷
@Creamyyy Sending prayers up that your procedure goes smooth! Hope everything goes smoothly and your fears and worries eased. Here's a big ol' hug!

Hey, buddy! first of all… huge hugs. The "baby inside" never really disappears, even in the strongest people. Being nervous before injections or procedures is such a human thing, so don’t be hard on yourself for feeling scared :) that's so humanly
And honestly? The fact that you already went through it once and managed it says a lot. Your mind remembers the discomfort, yes, but your body also remembers that you got through it safely. That matters.
Pain can feel bigger when anxiety joins the room, but this time you’re not walking in blind, you know what to expect, and that alone gives you more strength than before. If it gets a little dizzy or uncomfortable again, remind yourself: "I handled this once. I can handle this again" 🤗
Rest well tonight if you can. Breathe slowly. Hold onto something comforting. And imagine all of us standing beside you cheering quietly like protective little guardians 🫂❤️
You’ve got this <3 😊

Wishing you the best my friend 🩷
Will be thinking of you 🩷

I get that, maybe try some mindfulness of breath and focus on the sensation of the air on your nose. I had a bit of scare 3 weeks back, potential DVT on artery in neck, fortunately deep vein was clear so most likely a small superficial clot which they can no longer confirm due to accumulated scar tissues from previous clots. They just sent me home with 3 days of heparin to self inject. I managed just as I don't have a choice but I definitely do the mindfulness first 🤪🤪🤪
@Creamyyy
Naughty of me, hope the procedure goes smoothly.
@Creamyyy
Lots of hugs from me!! 🫂🫂🫂
Hope you recover soon💖
@Creamyyy Hi 👋
I have to get injections in the legs and small operation all the time. Your mind is a powerful tool to keep you scared or to keep you feeling capable. And you are capable 😁
@Creamyyy
I hope everything goes well. Wishing you the best. (:
Sending hugss 🫂
Feeling for you, and wishing you all the best. I'd be scared and agitated too. I just try and distract myself but also try to relax, even being used as a pin cushion because it seems to makes a difference.
My body isn't the best patient but where possible listening to music or reading helped :)
