i am appreciative of what done with the cards of life has delt.. I have kept my integrity and values, saving animals others can’t or won’t, almost all for free. Putting myself out to the world to fight for those who couldn’t speak for themselves.. below was Miss Pennellope, very lucky to have had her for 10 years in my life, a blind Cattle Dog a.k.a. Cuddle dog or princess who went everywhere with me her last few years 🐾

I am so proud of myself and admire my courage and resilience to manage to feel peace despite times being so tough for me.
I find it hard to love myself yet I'm happy I've overcome the traumas that broke me down. There were a few of those (related to abuse) but those incidents don't break my spirit anymore as they used to. Time has healed me. I'm grateful to God. And I'm gladly surprised by my own bravery.
Hey Clio, I really appreciate the fact that you are considering self appreciation. Loving yourself is such an alien and risky idea for you, yet you are taking the time to think about it.

This is random. But also kind of wonderful. I'd totally forgotten about this post. What a gift to look back and reflect. There I was a year ago, considering loving myself. And now I am. At least some of the time. I am awesome because I can see what change I've achieved. You are so right. Thank you so much for the prompt. A fabulous end to my day due to you.
