Reached my 120th step! I've learned how to appreciate the smaller things in life. That I cannot and should not control everything and I've learned to listen especially when my husband is expressing his feelings.
On this milestone I learned that it is okay to ask for help when you need it. If they care about you they will try and help you.
Step 430! I have battled post traumatic stress disorder for a long time. I have fought past the anxiety and numbness, and am feeling true things. It is ok to be sad sometimes and ask for help
Life is short, too short, to spend it critical of myself, not living fully or trying to live my life or have a job that will please others instead of me. We are not even promised the next day, hour or breath. My days are going to be, will and are, now filled with gratitude, joy and doing things that bring me happiness. My golas are not lofty, but i am taking daily steps to actualize them...and they are coming close to being true. . . a step closer every day. No time for fights or dwelling on the negatives. unknowns have moved from terrifying to gulp - exciting. Cuz, what do i really have to lose after all? I am on a no drama diet - no time for that which brings my vibes down - including what my thouhts dwell on. I am focusing on being healthy in all areas of my life - and in this new light ,even my near life long ED is losing it's grip. Life is beautiful. When I take time to appreciate it , be greatful, concentrate on whats going right or how how make things go right , trusting in the Universe and the process and most importantly: myself. This is a HUGE step that took a LIFETIME to learn but boy, is it worth it!
