365 cups
Yesterday was my one year anniversary on 7 Cups. I planned writing a decent post where I could sum up my experience with this community, and also properly express my gratitude. However, my old friend depression decided to pay me a visit, so right now I'm quite occupied with entertaining them. I don't have any energy left beside necessary self-care, so this poor alternative has to suffice. Please excuse the lack of form, depth and making any mistakes.
Thank you all - members, listeners, mentors, mods, ambassadors, managers, creators, developers, designers, and countless other people of whose work I'm not even aware, for dedicating your time for this community. I appreciate everything you do to make this space the best version of itself. 7 Cups is not perfect, it's not a miracle solution to the problems of this world. It has its shortcomings and flaws, but it's trying hard to address them, and it's doing it collectively. I believe in its philosophy, I recognize the effort of hundreds of people who are striving to give support to those in need. And I am proud to be a part of it.
Thank you, everyone, for the kindness and honesty. Thank you for caring about those who are reaching out, looking for someone to lean on. I'm grateful for every interaction I had here - positive or not. This community has been an important tool in my emotional growth and made a real difference in my life. Right now I'm not able to express how thankful I am, lovelies, to tag each and every one of you, but please, believe me when I say that I am. I really, really am.
365 days ago I was lying numb on the floor, unable to ask for help. Now I have an effective support network, self-care skills and personal projects. If that's not something being grateful for, I would say I haven't learned anything.
All my love ❤︎
@Celaeno
I've seen your positive, happy feed posts almost everyday when I'm around. It always puts a smile on my face when I see something like that.
Rock on! Self-care is important. I'm here if you ever need anything.
You're in my heart and thoughts @Celaeno!
@Celaeno Belated happy cupversary! You have come so far. It's so nice to see you grow with the community, it helping you, and you blossoming to be one of the warm supportive people here. Great job! Take all the time you need and care for yourself well, you deserve it. I honestly wouldn't even be able to turn on my computer if my old friend is around haha. Thank you for sharing this with us. We love you Celaeno. ❤️
@Celaeno
Omg ! I absolutely agree with your comments about 7 cups and I, for one, are so happy that you are here. I am realatively new to your support network but please know that I will always be there for you if you need me. Your hearts, hugs and supportive posts and comments have been of significant comfort to me especially when I was between listeners and feeling abandoned or lost and I almost gave up but unknown to you, you and your posts kept me going and I now have a better understanding / appreciation through my self caring journey which whilst long and tough I know I will be able to get there. You provide supporting comments to many and are a true inspiration, so thankyou ! (Tight hug!) and I'm really happy and proud that you have come so far and wish you all the peace and happiness in the world as you continue you on your self heal journey. 🌏
loving this!!!!
We love you <3

@Celaeno
You have been one of my biggest inspirations on this website in the 365 days you've been here. Your eloquence, your gentle nature, your willingness to help and love... it's all such a rarity among people. It's hard to find someone in the world like you, and yet we're graced with your presence on this website. I'm glad that out of all the 7 billion (+) people in the world, that I've been lucky enough to speak and interact with you, and see you grow and blossom into who you're supposed to be. Thank you so much, for everything you've done for the people of this site. You are loved.
@Celaeno <3 you always make me cry. Someone who knows our old friend depression can understand fully and truly how it is. Belated Happy Anniversary :)
