Hey Everyone. Welcome to Desiree's Daffodils. We are on a mission to spread kindness 1 day at a time.
Below is the archive of how I celebrated February as my Kindness Month!
For the entire month of February, I will be completing a random act of kindness. I have created a calendar that I will be using and it will serve as a guide to what RAOK I will be doing for the day. This is a personal project of mine, but anyone is welcome to join me if they like.
Day 20: Spoil Your Pets
Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE animals. I have had many pets in my life and each of them hold a place in my heart. Today is National Love Your Pet Day so today each of my pets get some extra lovin'! I love on them all everyday though and they bring so much joy to my life!
I am a proud guinea pig, turtle, and cat mom. 😍 I have attached a picture of my fave pictures of my pets to share their cuteness. Lol. Feel free to share a picture of your pets with us too! 😊

Day 21: Write Down Positive Qualities About Yourself
They say it takes 3 weeks for a habit to form. Well, today marks exactly 3 weeks since I started this mission to spread kindness. I must say I am very proud of myself for being consistent. With that being said, today my RAOK is toward myself-- recognizing the good, positive qualities in me. ♡
Day 22: Spread Some Encouragement Online
Sometimes things I plan on doing slip my mind when I'm consumed with other tasks. I was supposed to post this yesterday but didn't get a chance to. I know, it's funny, because I was on here frequently yesterday. For those of you who know me, you already know that everyday I try my best to spread kindness and encourage others. That's just apart of me. That's just who I am.
Day 23: Volunteer Your Time
When I made my RAOK calendar, I don't know what I was thinking adding this. Lol. Every day I come on here that you see me, that's me volunteering my time. ♡
You see me posting in the forums? Yup, that's me volunteering my time being a forum supporter. ✔️
My 1-1 chats listening to members to help support them. That's me volunteering. ✔️
You see me in the positivity corner just chatting and engaging with members? Yup, that's me volunteering my time being a room supporter. ✔️
You see my postings on the peer appreciation thread posting appreciation notes that people sent? See the beautiful graphics I created to go along with it? Yup, that's me volunteering my time being a smile spreader. ✔️
You see... everything I do on here, I do to spread kindness and bring joy to others. It is just that while I'm doing all that, I'm bringing joy to myself as well.
I take pride in everything I do and I try my best to do it well, but I would be lying if I said I didn't have one role that fulfills me the most... the one role that I find the most rewarding.
For those of you who know me, you know what I'm about to say. I absolutely LOVE being a smile spreader. 😃 That role suits me well.
With that said, me and the other smile spreaders would not have a "job" if it wasn't for all the sweet people who volunteer their time to fill out the appreciation form to let thank someone for all they do. It literally takes a minute to be an appreciator. :) Let's all appreciate someone and let them know how amazing they are!
Are you interested in doing what we smile spreaders do? Do you truly have a passion for making people smile and spreading joy? Can you make postings to deliver the appreciation notes people send in and tag the appreciator and the appreciated? Can you create graphics? Although the making of graphics is optional, I find that it helps beautify the postings and makes people smile even bigger. ♡ If you are interested in this role or have any questions, let's chat! Day 24: Celebrate A Friend 🥕 🥕 🥕

@TabbyCat97 Thank you!!! Truth be told, my kid showed me how to do it. He had did some virtual art for his art class and he went on wordart. He walked me through steps on how to do it. Hehe. :) I definitely love it too and every intention of using the site more to create graphics. Day 25: Thank A Friend
Hey everyone. You probably noticed that I switch the act of kindness for yesterday and today. I did that for a reason if you haven't noticed. On the calendar today is help a friend, and truthfully, I do that on the daily. Granted, a lot of the time, it is done virtually through this wonderful platform. :) Today I'm requesting, if possible, you to do something nice to help someone you know. It doesn't matter if you help "in person" or "virtually". Helping is helping so it is all the time. ♡ I've done my contributions to help others and a family member today and I'm reaping what I sow. ♡ Hope everyone has a beautiful day!

@amiableBunny4016 Omg, I was literally just thinking not long ago about how February is ending. 3 days remain! If there's one thing Desiree's Daffodils has taught me it is that consistency and being persistent is such a challenge. I've tried my absolute best to post daily despite my inconsistent hours and schedule. I may have had a couple late posts where I was unable to but I am so proud of myself. I thank you and everyone here who has shown this thread some love and support. ♡ Have a good night and rest well. 😴
