Reconnecting With the Quiet Ones
There are friends of ours on 7Cups who used to be around, but lately, have gone quiet, maybe just taking a break. We haven't heard from them in awhile, and we miss them.
If you've been around for awhile, you probably have someone in mind.
This is your place to reconnect with them, leave them an encouraging note, let them know you're thinking about them! <3
They may or may not see the messages, or it may take a long time for them to see them. And that's ok.
This is still a place for you to express how much you miss them, and give them a wonderful notification to open up, when they do come back. <3
Tag those people who you haven't heard from lately, or seen around! Use an @ symbol, then write their username. Make sure you don't put an "!" after the username, or else that person won't get tagged.

Sometimes, I don't want to write, or even keep what I've written.
I've only ever been after something like a hug. To just be around people that are nice.
I think in the last few years I've been hugged once or twice.
I don't mean to complain... I have enough, and enough is enough. More than.
I did go to a spoken word poetry night. It was good. I read three poems, which were well-received.
I'm sad happy. Up and down, at the same time. Over the moon, under the sun. Standing on solid ground with my head in the clouds.

Yeah, work is great but now working 6 days a week with 9 hours available for my students to schedule their classes, so it's pretty intense and exhausting. My boyfriend is going to meet my parents in less than 2 weeks... so a bit nervous about that :)

LONG week yeah, and that is every week now... But it's alright, I love teaching.
We are both pretty nervous for him to meet my parents. He is a lot older than that I am, which they don't like too much. Besides also that he is local here (Dominican, I'm Dutch) so my parents aren't too happy with that neither, he has some tattoos and a kid as well. So the opposite of what my parents would want for me basically... But in the end, I hope that they can be happy for me

I have no idea why people so often are down on tattoos... I don't mind them, they don't define a person. And yeah same here he is 37, I'm 25. I told my parents he is 35 instead.
My mom told me she is just really happy to see me again, my stepdad was talking about interrogating my boyfriend to get to know what kind of person he is. Hopefully, they can behave well for 1 day and I just hope it all goes well this weekend. We are going there tomorrow...
