Self love weekly series day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of our weekly self-love series!🤍

In our previous days, we talked about changing our inner voice, understanding the 5 core reasons why self-love matters, and writing a sweet love letter to ourselves. You are all doing such an amazing job on this journey so far!

Today, let's talk about something we often overlook: Self-Care Routines & Small Daily Acts of Love.

Self-love isn't just a mindset. It’s also about the tiny, everyday actions we take to show ourselves that we matter. It doesn't have to be a grand gesture like a fancy spa day; it can be the little things that bring peace to your mind and body.

Here are 5 simple daily self-care acts to practice:

✨ Hydrate & Nourish: Drinking a warm glass of water or enjoying a full meal without rushing.

✨ Digital Pause: Putting your phone away 15 minutes before bed to give your mind a break.

✨ Mindful Breathing: Taking 3 deep, slow breaths whenever you feel overwhelmed.

✨ Move Comfortably: Doing a light stretch, taking a short walk, or just dancing to your favorite song.

✨ Saying "No": Protecting your energy by declining things that drain you.

Today's Challenge:

Pick one small act of self-care from above (or come up with your own!) and do it today.

Questions for the comments:

  1. What is one small self-care act that always brightens your mood?
  2. Which new self-care habit would you like to try this week?

Can't wait to read your responses! 🌿

P.S. Remember to take a deep breath right now. You are doing great! 🫂

Letting myself cry is my best form of self care I guess because no one let's me cry my mother HATES it when I cry, so I can't cry in front of anyone because they don't show me sympathy they are annoyed by it. I only allow myself to cry when I'm alone. Letting it out lightens me a bit.... Idk.

Thats great! Its so awesome that you let yourself cry. Crying is actually a lot healing. Despite your mother hating it its best to cry alone as you let it all out. I m glad you csn let your emotions out, even if alone🤍

I think doing a little bit of gaming always brightens my mood. That and having breakfast with my guinea pigs.

Something else to try? I'm trying to add a bit onto my workouts, so I'm gonna try a little bit of dancing to whatever I'm listening to when I don't feel like doing other workouts

Gaming and having breakfast with your guinea pigs (they must be so cuteee) is a grest form of self love! I m glad you take time of your day to things you enjoy.

Adding more to your workout or dancing instead are also amazing ways to show yourself some self-love.

I don't really know tbh, there's not really a lot that makes me happy anymore. If I had to choose then maybe drawing or reading I guess.

I think maybe I'd like to allow to let myself get more rest, and just to take care of myself.

Drawing and reading are amazing. I guess taking time off your days for them would be a great form of self love as you do things you enjoy.

Resting is essential and you deserve it. You are not lazy for resting, remember that. You are doing so great! I hope you got the rest you needed🫂

What is one small self-care act that always brightens your mood?
not on list but mine is taking a vacation  within the mind this being to remember a place that gave you a sense of peace and  then going there within your mind remembering the feeling of the place the smells of the place  the sounds of the place and the things you touched within the place and how they felt some places can even be the taste  of the place  like fish cooking on a camp firer the taste of it after it cooked  this can help calm one de-stress one too

Which new self-care habit would you like to try this week? Hydrate & Nourish  with the hotter water i been eating way to much junk due to not wanting to have oven and stove on as only use fans so now that it a little cooler eating more healthy stuff and cutting back on sugar too

when i no longer could go to places i loved i came up with doing it mentally as away to help myself as for me there be places that just bring me a peace most being in nature were i spent a lot of time as a kid and teen the mental vacations can take one back to a place they love that helped them find peace and grounded  them too can help when having flashbacks too

Oops, I've missed many days! I'll just try to catch up as much as possible.

  1. One small act of self care that always brightens my mood is doing something I enjoy, like hobbies or watching old Bollywood movies.

  2. A new self-care habit I would like to try is giving myself time to relax, because I never really do so.

@Paliloveyourself

Its okay if you missed days!

Great way to relax by watching movies!!

Also, resting more is a grest form of self care we all have to practice.

Best wishes🤍
