Apparently no one can really agree on the age range, according to Google XD

But Wikipedia says 40-64. :)

I'm not speaking for everyone just myself. My tolerance became a lot shorter for a lot of things and people that think they can say or do anything to me and I will grin and take it. Nope instead I will either dismiss you or educate you, depending on my fickle mood.

Some admire my confidence or knowing what I want but it took years and years of self development to reach that stage of figuring things out. I didn't click my fingers and not put in the graft.

I've always been self reliant but with age, a comfortability formed. It's ok to do my own thing, feel how I feel, step away, be vulnerable or just be numb or stuck because eventually, it gets better.

Younger men are fascinated with mature women and think we should be flattered by the attention, honestly it bores me, they don't know their own mind and I need someone to challenge me and be self assured.

People, friendships, relationships naturally come and go. I don't settle. I've never seen the point of being unhappy, when you can choose the potential for fulfilment alone or with someone new.

Enrich your life with your own hobbies and interests that make you glow inside. Once you find that passion, no one can take that away from you.

Asking for help, isn't a sign of weakness, it's another way of doing what is best for you, with a bonus party involved, showing you the way.

Be selfish at times, even though we weren't taught to be. It's so freeing to say No, sorry, it's not a good time or I don't feel like it because I'm dealing with something personal that is consuming me.

Taking that time out for yourself is like my version of being under a toasty blankie, it's comforting and peaceful and important.

I wasn't sure if I fit in this age category so I went to Google only to find that middle age is considered ages 40 - 65.  Wow, was I surprised so I want my age reversed like Amanda.

From personal experience I would have to recommend that you enjoy life to the fullest. 

Spend as much time as possible with family and friends you love and care about.

You don't shrivel up at any certain age, and you can enjoy the things you love at any age. You don't have to "grow out" of anything, and anyone who tells you otherwise is joyless and doesn't deserve your company, much less your whimsy.
