5 Years’ Of Sunn-ing Around 7Cups! 🌞

 Hey hey everyone coming across, I hope June is treating you with kindness and love! 💛

Honestly it’s one of my least favourite months because of the hot weather where I am lol, literally melting! XD 

But what makes this month remain special still is today xD the day I joined 7 cups! 🥹

And well, completing 5 whole years here today, feels ‘almost’ monumentous! 

(almost also because time is flying lol who knows I’ll be doing a decade old post here soon😛) 

Okay but yes, 5 whole years, 5 long years! A lot changed in my personal life during this time, a lot changed in me during this time but what remained constant is my affection with 7 cups and our amazing community here! 🥰

I may have stepped down from a couple of roles, might have delayed responding to messages or forum tags here and there or in general even have reduced my activity and presence here but even through it all, 7 cups has been in my heart always and so many people here too, I may not have talked to you personally via PMs or forums etc in a while but I remember you and think of you, so very often! 

If you’ve ever felt supported or appreciated by me~ please know that it was always genuine and that I’ll always be in your corner if and when you need me to be.

I don’t take the opportunities to make someone feel “seen” and valued lightly~ I consider it the purpose of my being, to make as many people that come across me to feel at least a little better about themselves and life than before~ it’s a calling, to be that “someone” in the phrase “everyone needs someone who makes them feel cared for, valued, less-alone and always-loved” and it’s all I’ve ever strived to be and will continue to do so, on and off-cups! 💛

To my wonderful listeners-

Fellow listeners, I know how much you pour into the act of listening and supporting people in need. Thank *you* for being the one people can rely on for emotional support and thank *you* for being you. Innate empathy is rare, but it’s a quality I deeply treasure, you are a gifted soul, a healer that makes the world a better place for others! 

Don’t forget you’re a someone too and deserve the same compassion and love you give out to others! 

In moments of doubt, turn to your “why’s”, you’re here for a reason and you are doing immensely amazing! 💛

To the incredibly resilient members- 

Dear members, I’ve always believed in and also expressed other times how much I value the “member account cupsversary” because that I feel is the “braver” thing to do, it was for me at least, while it was instant for me to become a listener right after learning about 7 cups’ existence, joining as a member demanded so much extra courage and acceptance! 

I’m so so so proud of each one of you for creating your account here, reaching out for support and connecting with peers and in doing so, you’re also supporting fellow members and fostering the most compassionate bonds I’ve ever witnessed! 

It makes my heart feel happy to see you continue to work on your health and well-being and for trying your bestest to keep going even when it’s the hardest thing ever! 

I see you, I really do and I’m cheering for you always! 💛

To the 7 Cups Community management and the team working behind the scenes- 

Goodness, you exist and therefore we can! 

No amount of thanks can justify how grateful I am to the core team, the people in the tech- department and literally everyone else who we may not see or meet here as often but has contributed to the platform and our community, so we are able to connect and support here! 

There’s ups and downs, hits and misses, areas to “complaint” about too lol but at the end of the day, Nothing is ever perfect, this isn’t either, but it’s real and it feels like home~ which is what matters at the end of the day! 💛 

To the various Leadership and Teams- 

It’s no easy “job” managing leadership roles and teams with people from across the globe, that too on a volunteer level~ it is selflessness at its peak and I’m so so grateful for y’all working soooo diligently in ensuring our community continues to thrive! 💛

Extra shout out to the teams and people I’ve worked with, across several domains- I’ve learned something each time and there’s always been a valuable takeaway from each experience! Thank youuuu for making serving these volunteer roles oh so smooth and fun! 💛 

To all the people, no matter the role or tags or badges etc, if we’ve ever spoken here, and  grown to become friendly over time~ thank youuuuu, for making my cups journey so so so enjoyable and wholesome! It couldn’t have been possible or felt “complete till today” if it wasn’t for you in it! Hope to share many many many more years together here, sharing the love that we keep spreading around from one person to another hehe! 💛

This largely covers everybody hehe, but again, addressing this gratitude-note to each one of you present here and reading this~ whether or not we’ve talked/ met here yet, I am glad you’re part of this wonderful community and I’m grateful to share this beautiful cups-verse with you! 💛 

Before this gets way more mushy and before I start crying again lol, I just want to take a moment to soak this in!

Oh wow okay, this is all real! 7 cups actually exists and so do all you wonderful people and I get to be a part of this? Should I feel blessed or should I feel blesseddddd?! 😭🥰😭

5 years went in a blink it feels but also there’s a ton of experiences that I’ve gained and learnings that I’ll carry with me forever! Lots of ups and downs, and a whole lot in-betweens~ but at the end of the day, the good always overpowers the bad for me and there’s nothing but an overwhelming sense of gratitude for this entire experience and journey so far! 🥰

I believe in destiny and the higher power of the universe, and I’m grateful to the universe for blessing me with 7 cups and for all these 5 years, showing me the light, to share with y’all here! 💛
