@fluffyUnicorns84 - I'm smiling because of this post. Thank you :) Hi Otis and the others (please tell them I'm sorry I don't remember their names! SFO might help me with that, but he's snoozing hehe) At any rate,
to you all! (your mom too :) <3 Platy
Day 2 walk away and clear your head
I'm going to really focus on learning spanish. I know a lot already but i lack confidence. I just want to be fluent so im going to shoot for that.
so it looks like i am jumping into this challenge late.. let's see, today i am to do something constructive to improve a difficult situation. ... hmmm my home is not set up the way i like and its discouraging, and it doesn;t help that the carpet is dirty, so if i vacuumed, it would help a difficult situaioin??? well let's see, i will be back in a minute..
Lol I'm hoping everyone is still doing this challenge, at least in their journal? I'm here late so I'll just catch up now .
My goals for the month: Replace self-harm with deep breathing, spurts of exercise, and/ or writing.
Prepare self well for exams (study, organize, ask professor's questions)
Sleep as early as you can, and wake with a purpose (I work a late shift, coming home at midnight some days, so I'll aim for 12:30am, and then journal)
Constructive: To stop myself from overthinking and blaming self during work, I told myself everyone makes mistakes.
__ gives me hope: Money (it just is necessary to enable me to pay back my debts, and free myself of that weight.) Family Friends
Goal that links to my purpose: volunteer through New York Cares. If I end up having no tims, and push that to another time, then I will have the goal of writing and keeping down a letter of gratitude for everyone in my life.
Positive change: More people ride bikes instead of cars, save energy as much as possible, recycle, etc.
First step: write down any key notes from chapter 1 of the textbook into my notes. Summarize the chapter out loud.
Day 5 do something to work toward your goal
My goal is to finish my novels
I've been working on notes, outlines, and writing scenes. Last night it was great it helped me to forget my sinuses issues.
Ooops such a busy week, however I have tried to keep in mind the challenge as the week has progressed !
Day 1: Most important goals for this month:
1. Try get my pup back to behaving, while we were away boundaries went out of the window and shes gone back to her naughty chewing and hyper ways lol.
2. Organise and clean the house, so we can decorate.
3. Confidently lead the baby massage course for my assessment, the parents get half way through and feel confident about the strokes too.
4. Sort my ambassador role out here on 7cups, which is really exciting
5. Sort and organise listener discussion teams with a view to having listener learning, events, friendship team launched fully in a healthy state and also getting ready to launch community development.
Day two - Do something constructive to improve a situation
With being away for just under 2 weeks I felt quite overwhelmed and tired , so I did lots of resting and catching up with cups & my baby massage course prep.
Day Three: 3 things that give me hope for the future -
1. Still here fighting my mental illness and achieving new goals that kicks the negatives of Mental illness butt
2. Mental illness is becoming a lot more recognised which hopefully we mean more support and funding for people to get support earlier and feel comfortable with doing so.
3. Baby massage course is happening and I can do it as and when I feel able untill feel strong enough to be able to go back to work.
4, Despite so many people struggling, so many still give up their time for free and help our world become a better place
5. My mum is always by my side - even if we have our rocky times
(oops it only said 3 - never mind ha)
Day four - Goal relating to my sense of purpose in my life
Finish the baby massage course teaching so that I can submit my assignment and pass.
Day five - Positive change I want to see in society
When people see others struggling, they stop and offfer a hand if it feels safe to do so. Even if its just carrying their bag to their car or opening a door.
Day Six - Take first step to a goal that really matters to you
I did some housework and gardening tasks as I really would like things to be organised and nice in time for christmas this year without mad panic.
@fluffyUnicorns84
That is brilliant! I did wonder have you tried 'puppy massage' yet? That might actually help, I am a firm believer in massage and a lot of complementary therapies.
