Hello there lovely community! Today I would like to take an opportunity to appreciate a person who has gone above and beyond with their service for 7 Cups. A lot of leaders have come and gone, their efforts and the work they have done should never be ignored so in order to honour one of those leaders (as we should all of them), I’ve reached out to a group of people asking if they have something they would like to say to this person.

We all know who they are and it’s possible that everyone has at least something to say about them. This person has helped me become so much more in the community, to do more and be more. Before I go on, I would like to first share what other people have had to say about them being an exceptional leader and how they have really made a difference in a lot of individual’s minds.

They have done a total of 1280+ Care Requests, where we reach out to listeners to see how they are doing after reaching out for support. We reach out to them and see if they still have any questions, or if there's anything they need more support with, with regards to their listener role. They have been doing a lot of the Care Team work along with MistyMagic and both of them are the ones who have been handling the Care Team. They have also done almost 100 Coaching Requests and in addition to this they are - AL2 Grader, a Forum Mentor, Quality Mentor, Quality Mentor Leader with a focus on both LCT and CT, have verified 50+ listeners, Teen Transitioning Mentor, Project Agent and even more roles I may not recall right now!

(This isn't a farewell post for Mango, they have decided to stay and lead the Care Team and continue with some of their other roles. Initially, there was a bit of communication error on my part but I wanted Mango to see all of the responses I've received for them and I didn't want to edit out anything. So while some messages may give a different idea, I just wanted to clarify it I am sorry for the confusion it may cause, but we are all very happy to know that we have a great leader in the community continuing to support us!)

Hi Mango3! ❤️ I should first say hi and introduce myself. I'm Gizzie. I know you may not know me but I know you! If you ask me, that truly speaks to your dedication to the community on 7 cups and that you never even know whose life you are affecting by showing up and being great! ❤️ Kindness matters always and so you have shown this many times on this site. I have really enjoyed your forum posts, the ones with the uplifting messages for all of us. I have come across them a couple of times and maybe in the moments when I needed them the most. I have also seen you in the LSR a couple of times. I thanked you for your forum posts. But just you even being there, in your quiet presence brought me a bit of strength for the day. You see, I saw your screen name and so I remembered some of the wise words you shared with us in the forum areas. I know you have done much to help here on 7 cups and so for that, I thank you. Mango its sad to see u leaving, u were awesome with ur roles. Just seeing ur passion for ur job, inspired me many a times to make that extra effort . U were like a pillar of the team, taking care of all nuances, motivating , supporting . All I can remember on how @Mango3 and Chevy81 know each other: it was years ago; long before I took years of inactivity from 7Cups. I knew Mango as a hardworking and diligent person then. And when I decided to come back on 7Cups, Mango was the first person who greeted me and welcomed me back. It showed me how thoughtful and caring they are. After I joined the Listener Coaching Team, Mango was assigned to be my buddy. Of course, it gave me comforts and extra courage -- getting a familiar buddy to train me ❤️

It's been awhile now -- since I joined the LCT and get involved in the team's projects. This gives me the opportunity to get to know Mango more and see how awe-inspiring their work, they carefully and conscientiously do each of their tasks. Mango faithfully does their weekly post keeping the team updated. They would give prompt responses to every question that I had. Mango has been a kind and friendly face to (I believe) most of us. Someone that we can count on and turn to whenever we need help or guidance.

Mango's concern about the Care Team is also admirably encouraging. Under their nurture, the Care Team keeps growing, evolving with new ideas; while reaching out and offering support to many more listeners. I feel honored to get to know Mango and get the opportunities to be in the same team with them.

Thank you for everything that you do, Mango!

You are truly one gem that's so precious; don't let anyone tell you the otherwise (not even yourself, please)

Mango, I believe that we have not really known each other for so long in regards to time, but in every other way, it feels like you and I have been very old friends. This post, however, is not to appreciate you for how good of a friend you've been, rather it is to show you, how much of a good leader you've been within the community. I still remember the day you reached out to me with a Care Request and I shared a bit about how I was with my listener journey. You actually stayed with me and even offered to do a mock chat right at the spot when we talked. That shows how much you are ready to give to others what they may need. You helped me realize a lot of things - what I'd like to do more of in the community, what can I do for the issues that I am facing with my role as a listener and every other question I had. I remember asking you endless questions every now and then, yet you give me time and answer all of them for me.

A lot of work for LCT (Listener Coaching Team) and CT (Care Team) goes behind the scenes. People don't get to see the breakdown of how much we are doing for both teams. You are a leader who has stayed on the dashboards and checked up on so many things. You keep an eye on every request, make sure it is rightly made, add the link if it is not there just so that we won't have to do the extra step to manually search for the listener. You have been consistent with posting updates, posting the reviews, privately messaging EVERY person on the team to encourage them, to just say, "you are doing amazing!" That encouragement really goes a long way, Mango. You also have some other roles on the site - quite a lot. Yet, your dedication to each of them is something that never fails to amaze me.

Here's to you being one of the exceptional leaders of 7 Cups. I wanted you to see this post because of how much compassion and support you have shown to everyone who is a part of LCT and CT. This is to share with the community how there are so many people who are doing so much work behind the scenes, who don't always get credited for how much they are doing here in the community. It has been hard for all of us. There are things for which we don't have an answer, yet. But still, you offered everyone to PM you if they have any questions. You have shown time and time again just how much of a good leader you are, Mango. You have done great work so far and I am sure, moving forward, there are just greater things to see for all of us from you.

Mango, you are truly valued here in the community. You have done way more than your fair share of contribution. You are someone who is always there for other people and I want you to just know how much of a difference you've made here in the community. Please just stay the same and know that so many of us appreciate you! You bring great value to 7 Cups!
