For those of you who journal or love to write, here is a short activity to boost your mood!

Making a list of good things that happened in your day can make quite an impact. You don't have to be feel a certain way to do this, however, all it takes is just taking a moment out of your day to jot down things that made you happy or worked out for you today. It's a small exercise, but can go a long way for your well-being if continued. Try it out for yourself, come back and tell me how it went. 😊

Happy writing!

@GentleListenerHere

I love writing!

Never really thought to do this before, I'll have to try it.

Thanks for the idea!

I like the idea, and have even tried doing it. But I struggle a lot to write something after the journal title. I usually struggle to come up with something that worked out for me today or something that good happened to me. Some days I do have stuff to write but more than half of the days the journal remains empty.

That’s okay! It doesn’t need to be perfect. There are no strict rules to this. The fact that you showed up for yourself matters. :)

I found that making journal entries have become a small ritual of mine on here and I love it and coming across this forum sparked something inside me!!

Today was kind of rough considering lack of sleep but the good things that have happened today are;

I made some new for dinner that I hadn't made before and I aced it, it honestly gave me some confidence, and some serotonin. I've found that I love cooking so this was something new and different no one told me how to do it I just tried a new recipe and sent to town!

My friends that I'm staying with got a new couch today and I helped set it up (it's extremely nice!)

I got a shower after two days but I'm also trying to save on the water bill

It's finally October so it's spooky season which means more horror movies are on! 😃
