What gift do you cherish the most?
When I was 10 years old, I went on a holiday tour, where one of the destinations was this jade museum in China. The owner's brother, an artist, welcomed us and spoke to us for maybe an hour or so. He noticed I was listening, and he started talking to me.
All of a sudden he pulled one of this artpieces from a jacket pocket and offered it to me. I was s t u n n e d. It was a beautiful hollow crystal glass that was painted on the inside, so you could see some beautiful scenery on the outside. He gifted it to me that day, a complete stranger, and he told me words so kind and encouraging I've never forgotten.
Sir, I don't know who you are, I don't even even your name, but your magnificent artpiece is my most treasured possession, and I will remember you kindness for as long as I live ❤️
