What's On Your Mind?
Hello Lovely Peeps of 7CupsOfTea
This morning, suddenly my Listener account got unapproved. IDK why? Then, I submitted review and account restored but found that my all forum posts created and shared by you all seem like deleted. Disappointing thing for me!
But, then I thought that good thing is that I got my account restored, i.e. I'm with you right here, right now! I got an opportunity!
So, I am grateful for this today!

At the moment. I'm super stressed becasue I have so many things to do in a short amont of time and i'm scared i'm gonna fail.
Also Excited for Avengers!
I feel a little bit down I think. I am thinking about the trip to the beach with the family and some friends... I hope it goes well for when we're all together usually is a mess.
a lot
non je suis pas bien.
im wasting away. starving for my life energy to be restored. famished for hope to emerge out of this super bleak insufferable darkness.
@hollowman84
Arrête de dire "je ne suis pas bien" c'est proche de "I am no good"
Dis "je ne vais pas bien" to keep the illness to a distance.It's only a verbal defense and certainly doesn't change how you feel but a language victory is better than none.
@considerateTree2184 my ex-french girlfriend and i both used the phrase je suis pas bien all the time
@hollowman84
It's used but it has an underlying meaning that I think you don't need at the moment.
Like my kids who fail a test and say" my mother is going to kill me" French is a violent language.
@considerateTree2184 d acc. Now lets just illuminate 36 candles and float into the sky wishing on the magical etoiles that shall make our wishes come true and break the laws of reality
@hollowman84
Er... why not...
I am sensitive to words as they have hurt me and I have used them to hurt myself. I am trying to rewire my thinking by thinking and saying "I am suffering from depression" rather than "I am depressed". I have low self-esteem, not I am worthless. But if it doesn't work I'll give the magical stars a try ;-)
@hollowman84 I understand.
I'm not feeling well. I had a short reprieve from depression and fell to pieces this afternoon. I had an anxiety attack because a chemist and a family friend talked to me as if I had chosen to be depressed when I could just as well chosen to be happy.
It's silly, I am very well aware of the clichés about depression and 4 years of bullying have made me expect negative comments on myself and none can be as cruel as what I experienced then.
How can any dumbass think anyone would choose to suffer from anxiety and depression?
But as usual I tried to explain but shut up quickly when I saw I was getting even lower in their eyes. I may have felt better if I had challenged them but it means being cruel and I know too well what damage cruelty can do.
But I 'll get it off my chest here:
_So, you are a chemist but only for physical pathologies? May I ask why you don't turn off the money and put a sign in your window? I suggest "if you can prove your illness we are open, if you suffer from life struggle we don't care about mental health." And by the way, this prescription was written by an experienced psychiatrist. You a doctor to object?
_So I can choose to stop suffering and start enjoying life. May I ask why you had breast cancer a few years ago? Couldn't you have decided to heal? And frankly, metastases was going to far. Why didn't you choose to enjoy life? You high on chemo or what?
@considerateTree2184
I am better today. Back to not caring a damn what ignorants think of depression.
@considerateTree2184 i understand. i went to job interview yesterday and the woman interviewing me basically said i needed to get with the program, fix myself and my resume, learn how to do something, said i seem pretty unqualified for anything and shouldn't be given time since ive been unemployed for a long time, said there's nothing for me in this world
@hollowman84
WHAT?????? Hats off to you, your ignorant was on the podium and mine in the lower brackets.
You used to be an English teacher, it happens to be a job where you have a lot of decisions to take per minute, you know how to explain, how to write adapting to your public...
You know French, you are intelligent and articulate... But hang on :did you write the application letter the way you write your posts? ;-)
would I breake cos worry
I have loved crafting and making things pretty much as soon as I learned how, but I've always felt/assumed/knew that it was narcissistic or arrogant to look back on anything I did well. I always made sure to admire my work in private, afraid someone would think less of me for liking my own art.
Yesterday it was like something clicked. That feeling isn't arrogance, it's being proud of myself for my accomplishments. Not only is it okay to be proud of yourself, it's kind of important. Never in my 32 years have I felt it was okay to be proud of myself. So I've been thinking about that a lot today, getting used to this idea that I'm allowed to be proud of myself. It makes me wonder what else my brain has been lying about.
is it bad that i just dont wanna get better anymore? im honestly so tired, my head is a mess and i feel like such a waste of space in this world. rn i just want everything to stop but i know i cant really go that easily bcs there are things i need to do and people i cant just leave.
@animator23
I get this feeling sometimes.
How hard friendship is.
I stare at the FB news feed on my screen, wishing I had friends, knowing why I have none, but not doing anything to get one. I want friends, but at the same time, I don't want. The former is probably the truth from my heart and the latter might just be my sulky side from having to ditch certain close friends after they hurt me so deep; and from not having friends for over a decade.
Sure, FB has groups for those looking for friends but it is filled with desperate men looking for hookups or just a gf or whatever, and selfie junkies (these people need help). FB also has groups on some types of interests, but they are either too focused or filled with people who can really dig into their interests. My interests are nobody's interests and I can't commit to it the way a normal person would or should. So in the end, there I remain, staring at my screen, wishing I had friends to chat with or at least see some actual Reacts and Likes on my posts.
But nothing happens. And nothing ever will. Most of the people in my Friends List are relatives and they don't care about what I post. Not their kinda thing, so they don't ever comment or Like or React. I thought they would actually interact with me since we are not that distant, but we just rarely get to see each other. But nope, these extroverts usually suck at online socialising. No interaction from them at all. And thanks to FB's algorithm, that will make my posts not show up on their news feed, making me even more distant than I already am.
It makes me sad and lonely...but I'm scared that if a potential friend comes by, I'd end up bombarding them with my personal problems, that I might end up whining and ranting all the time... but that is all because unhappiness has filled up most of my years in life. I'd probably have less to be whining/ranting about if I led a normal life. Yeah, I';ve practised this gratitude journal thing but it looks to me like some pathetic, desperate attempt at bringing meaning into my life, further emphasising my troubled life.
@EarlyOnion what you said about your interests was ... Interesting :) sometimes I post something that seems so fascinating and nobody seems to react, and yeah with FB you definitely wonder "did anyone even see it?" or did Facebook hide it from them. Or did they glance and move on because it didn't connect?
@luminousRed359 : Thank you. :)
I know, right? All I want is just to know is if anyone on my FB has seen it. Meanwhile, some people just Like everything they come across (giving 'empty' Likes), though to be honest, I've reached the point where I don't mind getting an empty Like, as long as I know it means somebody's seen it.
Oh well, it's comforting enough that when I post something to threads, I feel assured someone is reading it (like you!). :)
