@Heather225
I am trying to incorporate mindfulness, meditation and philosophy into my productivity to help even it out and make it more holistic. I started journaling to keep track of my goals and maintain progress. :)
@Heather225 This week the main thing that is supporting me is talking to God about how I feel, spending a lot of time in bible study going through information that is supportive to me so I can self correct before I feel out of control. I am also working on my ability to pace myself, naturally, without feeling the pressure of time because constantly stressing myself over time makes me feel down. I am proud of myself for spending a lot of time with my emotions and pouring into myself so I can be more aware and present for those who are around. Today, I feel like the week is starting off at a 5, it's not good or bad - it's neutral.
I contemplated drinking cold cappuccino today to boost my mood but I decided against it. I think what will make me feel good is just getting more rest and continuing to pace myself. I just don't want to create a caffeine dependency or deal with constant crashes.
@Heather225
sorry we missed Monday chat we end up crashing late sunday had been up all weekend mostly due to being manic
live session:
1. On a scale of 1–10, how are we feeling about our progress?
about a 5
2. Share productivity tips or things you are trying! Also, any self-care techniques that help you keep your focus.
for us it been working around our physical disabilities and other health stuff so pacing things resting when we need to do that too helps a lot when we remember to do it
we been trying a few things like not going into stores to shop for food but ordering online having them deliver this been helping us not buy junk food
also from food store ordering some healthy already made foods Walmart here had great deal a chicken with mash potatoes and mac and cheese was a family meal fully cooked we got 3 meals out of it was only 9.97 for all that so was cheap too
@stormieandpaws
Stormie you have such wonderful goals, thank you for sharing ❤️
@Heather225

8/10

Being gentle with resistance and continuing doing things step by step. Journaling and deep breathing helps with focus.
I plan on being at the live session this afternoon; however, I'm struggling in this moment, so I wanted to revisit this:
- On a scale of 1–10, how are we feeling about our progress? Right now? It feels like a weak 5. But I think overall this week, it's probs a strong 7. I made some good progress, I think, I just don't feel it today.
- Share productivity tips or things you are trying! Also, any self-care techniques that help you keep your focus. I'm doing my best to rest when my body says I need to. Meditation has been helping, but I need to find a way to make it more regular.
- How will you make your goals SMART? Try out this model. I rewrote my goals using the SMART technique, and I think I have too many to address in five weeks. I'm trying to decide which I should focus on.
