I thought it would be cool if Group Modscould all get to know one another a little better.You can use this space to introduce yourself to the team! Here a few questions to get you started (no pressure to use these if you don't want to):

1) What is your favourite thing about being a Group Mod?
I really enjoy the atmosphere in most of the group rooms. It seems very familial and friendly. I also like meeting new people :) So...hey guys!! Pleased to meet you :)
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
I would change them around a bit to where there are more specific options and/or will include more...like guided discussions in its own room...stuff like that.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
Doing research in a library in New Orleans
4) If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?

In the next 5 years, I will be finished my doctorate, working in my dream career, living in my favorite place in the world!! :)

1) What is your favourite thing about being a Group Mod?
I really love being a mod because I can connect and support so many people at once!
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
Guidelines for mods would be clearer, so we would have less misunderstandings with members and guests.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
I think I would be singing in the Sydney Opera House!

1) What is your favourite thing about being a Group Mod?
My favorite thing about being a moderator is, being able to weed the un-supportive posts from the supportive, and reaching out post's and creating a more safe atmosphere.
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
To build a stronger support system for anyone and everyone to reach out to when they needed that immediate support while waiting for a listener.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
Practicing Medicine, in New York City.

Hey all! My name is Cristiana, I am really excited to be part of the Group Mod team!
In my offline life I am a psychologist, soon to be teen psychotherapist (working on my masters program & finding some practice opportunities). I am a very curious person, eager to learn more all the time, cannot stand without seeing myself growing by doing better. I am happy to meet you all.
Now to answer the questions (because I felt like I needed to do a bit of an introduction first):
1) What is your favourite thing about being a Group Mod?
I just today became a Group Mod so I still don't know for sure, haha!
I am just excited to be able to dismiss something bad that I notice, something that could really hurt all the other people in a chatroom. Before becoming one, I had the impression I will be absorbed by the chaos and no one will notice as I had no power to help more when needed.
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
More discussions about How to Better Use the Support Chat Rooms. Many people, teens in particular, use them for general chat - social media type when instead they could really welcome new participants into good discussions on how to ...something. I love the Special Events discussions but many times I feel that when there aren't discussions happening, there can be a lot of chaos.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
Mmm... In the mountains I believe, just breathing fresh air. I haven't had any holiday this year so I kind of miss the fresh air of mountains.
4) If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?

My favorite thing about being a Group Mod is, being able to weed out the un-supportive posts from unsupportive people and trolling....., and reaching out to others.
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
To be of help and support to those who reach out when they need immediate support system while waiting for a listener and helping each other in a group setting.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
Probably at the Beach or Ocean! Or anywhere near a beautiful body of water with blue skies lounging and relaxing with my family~.

1) What is your favourite thing about being a Group Mod?
My favorite thing about being a moderator is, well I havent been a mod for long, but its seeing when everyone comes together and becomes supportive , when members and listeners work together to support each other. And for me to be able to take out the unsupportiveness <3 and help with this peaceful environment
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
To be able to have the mod community grow more , so that when a mod is needed they are instantly in the room, no matter the timezone <3
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
hmmm I'd be in the netherlands living with my bestfriend and owning a little bakery :P

I like helping people by creating a positive environment in the chat rooms.
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
I would like to see more discussions.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
I would be working as a therapist in a nice office.
4) Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself working as a therapist with a wife and children, and very happy. :D

1) What is your favourite thing about being a Group Mod?
I enjoy group chats anyway, and I love 7cups. I think it's great to be able to be the one to make sure everyone is supported, paid attention to and cared for in these chats :)
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
I'm not really sure. It seems to be doing ok as is. I think one thing I would do is make it so that the same way 7cups moderates what we type (by telling us what's in our message isn't appropriate or agains the rules and not letting us send it), I would have it do the same for guests/members in group chats. As far as I know, right now it doesn't do that.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
I'd be right where I am hanging out with my hubby :)
4) If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?

1) What is your favourite thing about being a Group Mod?
I am happy to be contributing to making the community more supportive. I enjoy being a moderator as I like to help keep the support groups as positive as possible.
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
I might not have as many different support groups.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
In Bali visiting a Temple or an equally cultural place.

I like being able to create a space place for all people who participate and able to enforce rules
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
I would make it tougher to bypass a mute so we could focus more on supporting

I would be at dominoes eating pizza cause I like pizza

My favourite thing is being able to make the Goups Support Rooms the best they can be, supportive, friendly, respectfull or even somewhere you want to come back to <3
2) If you could improve one thing in Group Support Chat, what would it be?
I would give my best so everyone leaves with a heart full and feeling like they want to come back, by doing my best in making sure the room is flowing right. Maybe make sure there is always a Group Mod present.
3) If you could be anywhere doing anything right now, where and what would it be?
Mhmm. Studying some more, learn something new, read about something interesting. But I like it here and it is as good as the ones I mentioned before.
