Well, I have to say, those numbers are great in my opinion and very high! The majority of people are enjoying the experience and I imagine you can't please everyone now can you? Sometimes it's also good to question what their expectations were and if it is something that the sharing circles are not designed to provide in the first place.

I have never hosted one but have contributed to both member sharing circles and a listener sharing circle for the first time today. I like the concept and each one that I have been a part of, the hosts were amazing, kept the room moving, kept order in the room and provided a wonderful environment.

Dear Obs, while it's great to see such high ratings for both member and listener sharing circles, the feedback that was left is also a key element on improving these sessions. It would be nice to see the feedback that was left from fellow listeners and members alike on their thoughts on these sessions. Any survey conducted should highlight feedback, insights, and the positives and negatives of these initiatives. I am sure that I'm not the only person who wants to know what everyone said. People are curious about feedback that is different from theirs. Transparency is important and needed to create an environment of trust between listeners, members and those in charge of this platfrom.

Mangy Mang.........looks like you are bringing the heat and bringing the noise! I'm confident that you simply spoke from the heart and may have no idea that you currently have 22 upvotes. You only need 3 more upvotes on your post to receive, If I remember correctly what is called the "Sage" badge! It does happen from time to time and it happened to me once.

Some people enjoy the fun of all of the badges and that is how 7 cups intended it. And I understand others could care less. But if you see the "toast pop" up on the lower right hand screen to alert you that you have received a new badge, well for me, it's fun! We are volunteers, we do not get paid, it's fun to be appreciated in this way around here.

I'm hoping if your post resonates with anyone else they will "upvote" your post. Let me know how it goes my friend! heart

Well said @SparkyGizmo ! I agree with every word! For sure, if some come to the sharing circle with some expectations they easily could be disappointed only because something is different. Also, each circle depends on participants, how well they correlate with each other or how active they are. However, I love the concept of Sharing Circle, especially it is very effective in giving the feeling of belonging to the group and against loneliness. So many people today are looking for their place, it is so great that they can fully feel being a member of the 7 Cups family.

@AriadneLove

Wow! I love how you put that!angel And I speak of the "sense of community" around here often, the feeling of belonging, being a part of something that is bigger than ourselves, and helping one another along, hand in hand. smileyheart Those sharing circles make me feel as if the community is really coming together! Sitting quietly and listening to one another, someone you may have not even have had to the chance to meet if you hadn't been in one of those sharing circles that day! Really kind of drives home for me how we are really all in this together. WE I love that word heart

@ASilentObserver, I forgot to add a thought. I hope this is the right questionnaire. I remember the question, 'do i think the increased sharing circles are a good idea.' If just anyone is allowed to control the sharing circle, i see the potential for a circus. I don't think it's a good idea to let just anyone be in charge of the sharing circles. Thanks.

I have found being on something cups of tea as a member and listener has been great but as a member it has been so insightful because I'm going through a rough time but is made me realise but I can get the right supports when I need it going on here got the right supports around me at the moment this would be such a good place when I don't have a 24/7 roster I have a disability and this does cheer me up even my carers from higher up
