Group Support Milestone: 100+ Room Supporters

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Today I quickly want to share a win that is our collective. Room Supporters Team grew up to 100+ room supporters today!

Room Supporter one of the key roles in the Group Support Chatroom. This role focuses on providing quality listening and support to community members in the group chat rooms. Room Supporters foster healthy and supportive conversations in the chat rooms to ensure everyone entering the room feels welcomed, empathized, validated, comfortable, and included in the group. This role is suited for both members and listeners because our members are also amazing and supportive listeners in the chat rooms to provide support to each other.

I remember at the end of 2019, we were a team of 20-25 room supporters putting our efforts to support the community in the chat rooms. And, with all teamwork and combined efforts of all of us, we progressed and team grew up. At the start of 2021, there were 60+ Room Supporters. Many of our wonderful room supporters grew up as Chatroom Moderator to provide moderation coverage in the chat rooms to keep the rooms safer space for all.

I want to share my gratitude to all the room supporters. Those who joined and left for some reasons, those who stayed and progressed into chatroom moderator role and those who are currently actively supporting the community in the chat rooms every day. 100+ Room Supporters means we have better coverage of support compared to an year ago and we still have a way to go. We still need to bring more support and moderation coverage for our chat rooms and the community. And, I believe with all the support from each one of you, we will going to achieve it.
