@ASilentObserver Easter 2020 is different for me because this year, there's no chocolate in the house because we can't afford to go out and buy any. Everyone is tense because of the illness, especially because I live in a moderate to high risk area. I'm swamped in homework from online school.

I am so happy because, since church is on Zoom this year, I have been able to attend it for the first time in years! While for most having to stay home is fraught with difficulties, for me (I have been social distancing for years due to disablities and the fact that I live on a farm out in the country) being able to see and talk to all my friends from church and listening to the service together is a blessing.

I hope that everyone is healthy and safe!

No family with me- husband working off island- and may need to stay away due to more exposures. I am attempting to get rid of a computer program I accidentally installed. Appropriate- getting rid of a computer virus!!

"Please remove me."

My untraditional Easter was still filled to the brim with better people and food than I could ever deserve. Thanks to the magic of technology I was able to see all 4 of my grandparents, my Scotland family, and countless cousins. Still had my aunt's Brussel sprouts and brownies, and my giga's potatoes thanks to porch drop offs and recipies.

So much love to you all. This is one of the hardest thing I think many of us have had to go through. We will rise, we will preserve, we will get through this. Some day we are going to look back at the immense love in the Easter we had video conversations instead of in person hugs in order to protect the most vulnerable among us. I hope that in one year or 5 years or 10 years we remember to hug everyone a little bit tighter and stay at the family gatherings just a little bit longe

I'm doing what I need to do on Easter it's being mindful and creative and rest and breathe and relax and stick to drinking lots of water cold water

the worst is the that my allergies and pain have been bothering me and getting me it's so unpleasant

I am gods child I'll always be with him and continue to pray i abbey is speak it out and let god know what's going on it's with my heart

Not really that different. Normally me and my family go to brunch at this nice restaurant outside of town, but obviously we couldn't that this year. We just did an Easter dinner instead. My dad was doing a Zoom call with his cousins and I dropped in to say hi. They told me congratulations for my recent acceptance + commitment into college. 😊

@ASilentObserver Easter is usually spent with family coming together to celebrate. We wear our nicest spring colored clothes and come share a large meal, usually a potluck where everyone brings something.

This easter, my grandmother wasn't alive to be here. She passed away last November. But maybe it's good that she wasn't here to see us all celebrating apart. She wasn't here to see I spent the day in sweatpants instead of getting dressed up. She didn't see that I ate whatever I found in my fridge rather than sharing a large home made meal. She didn't see that this year, we simply didn't celebrate Easter, neither as a family or individually.

Well, of course it was a bit different because of Covid-19. But it wasn't that bad. Last years Easter was not the best, but this year's Easter was pretty fun.

Since I'm older, we don't really do Easter egg hunts. But I did a small thing where I put some dog treats in the plastic Easter eggs and let my big dog find them. That was fun. Then my parents worked on the garden and I got to sit outside and draw. So...It was good.
