Cheri’s Connection Corner -Walking Motivation Chart
Hey everyone!
I am on a health journey and along the way I like to share good resources and quotes for motivation.
Sometimes motivation for walking could simply be a color in chart for 100 days. Just color in every day you walk! Have fun with this one.
They say to build a habit it needs consistency. 💕💕

1.) How Often do you walk?
2.) What motivates you to get walking?
3.) Do you listen to anything when you walk? (Music, podcasts)... If so what are they?

How Fun and Motivating... Thank you for sharing this with our Community!
Thanks for adding the questions love ‘em.
I walk in this beautiful province eastern Canada 🇨🇦 I er edge puffins and whales so much to see …
I am medically retired … what motivates me is simply function. On good days I walk well, some days with a cane and rarely a wheelchair . It all kinda depends.
i walk and talk to my hubby he is my partner in crime for walking … great way to have a check in and see what is up usually the trails here have many sitting areas as well. 💕💕

Oh I love your answers... (puffins and whales, how very interesting)!
And I love that regardless of "how" you do it, that you "Get it Done"! That is awesome and amazing. And very inspiring! (Some days I have issues with my leg from a prior injury, so this really is inspiring to hear)!
I also walk with my hubby as well (or my pup) lol.... They are both my motivation and partners in crime also. I think its awesome that your hubby supports you and keeps you motivated and moving!
Thank you again for sharing this with us and letting us know a little bit about yourself! Feel free to share more of your inspirations with our community!
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful When I didnt go to gym, I used to take morning walks with podcasts on.
It feels nostalgic to think of those walks somehow.
Now I take walks occasionally at night on my terrace, again with podcast on. Always a joy to hear inspirational content from around the world.
Hello! I generally take evening walks during the week, always music on. Mostly I like to listen to Muse, Blur, Duran Duran, and Philip Glass. That's my peaceful time although there is traffic, crowds, infrastructure work sometimes. I always take the same route, it includes a little orchard with young apple, pear and cherry trees and a little garden with roses and wild flowers beyond. It lasts between 35-50 minutes, I sometimes make it like an hour or so if it is a sunny pleasant day. If it is a super wet and windy day, It is still interesting to be outside. City walks are the best when I feel I don't have much motivation. Hills, cliffs, narrow intimate pathways, crescents, and the harbour area, I find a lot to discover. And even if you are not sure to go outside, sometimes we do, take that walk. It surely helps. All the best.
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful This motivation chart you shared is awesome 🥰 I'm going to print it out and use it, can't wait to fill it with beautiful colors!
1.) How Often do you walk? - A few times a week
2.) What motivates you to get walking? - Usually when I enjoy the weather I'm more motivated to go for a walk in it
3.) Do you listen to anything when you walk? (Music, podcasts)... If so what are they? - I usually walk to YouTube playlists I've made or listening to my favorite shows
I got myself a new hobby to increase my activity and walking for Christmas. A Radio / Control Truck!
I enjoy going to different parks and racing it around. Of course I crash it a lot and I have to walk to flip it over. It's a really fun way to get me out of the house more.
(Pro Tip: Now I put on my knee braces BEFORE I go out for a walk. It is far better to prevent an injury than to try to cure the pain afterwards)
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful

THIS. IS. GENIUS. 🥰 I have never seen this before but it is akin to a check off list or a reverse advent calendar. And for anyone who is a perfectionist or has Autistic-like traits, this will drive you batty... to the point of doing it cuz a missed spot will bug you FOREVER. 🤣🤣😍 Thank you for sharing!
@AzureAura
