These Peanut Butter Bites pack a lot of nutrition. Heres the breakdown:
- Flax seed: Just 1 tablespoon of flax seed provides roughly 8 grams of fiber. Flax seed is also loaded with healthy fats, fiber and nutrients.
- Peanut Butter: Filled with healthy fats and fiber. One serving of peanut butter contains 7 grams of protein! Perfect for a quick energy boost and to keep you full throughout the day.
- Old Fashioned Oats: Rich in fiber, protein and nutrients. Old fashioned oats are a great way to sneak in extra nutrients. They are also known to reduce cholesterol.

These are a really great choice as well if you are a "sweet" lover or a 'peanut butter" lover. I have made these multiple times for my son. I substitute Regular peanut butter for "All Natural Peanut butter" (only Two ingredients)..... as well as swap Regular honey for Organic honey.
Whole Wheat Strawberry Blueberry Banana Bread
Ingredients
2 cups (240g) whole wheat
1 tsp baking powder
tsp baking soda
tsp salt
1 tbsp (14g) unsalted butter or coconut oil, melted and cooled slightly
2 large egg whites, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
cup (200g) mashed banana (about 2 medium)
cup (60g) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
3 tbsp (45mL) honey
cup (60mL) nonfat milk
cup (80g) diced fresh strawberries (about 4 medium-large)
cup (70g) fresh blueberries
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 F, and lightly coat a 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the butter or coconut oil, egg whites, and vanilla. Stir in the mashed banana, Greek yogurt, and honey, mixing until no large lumps of yogurt remain. Alternate between adding the flour mixture and the milk, stirring just until incorporated, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. (For best results, add the flour mixture in 3 equal parts.) Gently fold in the strawberries and blueberries.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Bake at 350 F for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

I love these!
These really are some great Fall ideas for eating :)
These are great ideas for snacks. :)
In general, having fruits and vegetables cut and ready to eat work very well. Having them already cut is a good incentive for children.
so no need be expert at cooking for getting nutritive snacks.
here are great combinaisons:
the combinaison fruit + nut is always a good mix.
Vegetable + hummus is tasty too!
smoothie is my favorite one.
small pitas with avocat puree.
rice cake and apple compotte.
When I think snack, I think easy. I meal plan for my clients and so I have a master list of snacks!
Cottage cheese - can add fruit, honey, flaxseeds, chai seeds
String cheese
Almonds
Tuna and cucumbers
Cucumber sandwiches
Zucchini pizzas
Portobello Pizzas
Hummus and veggies
any fruits and vegetables! A lot of fruits can be taken with you to work and don't need refrigeration such as apples and peanut butter, bananas.
