3 Questions to Measure Your Resilience | What is Your FIR Score?
F stands for Frequency
I stands for Intensity
R stands for Recovery Time
Three Questions to be Asked:
1) How frequently do you get disturbed (when your balance is shaken)?
2) How intensely do you get disturbed?
3) What is your recovery time to get back to feeling normal and okay?
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being extremely frequent, what is your F score?
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being very intense, what is your I score?
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being a very long time, what is your R score?
Add the 3 numbers and tell us your FIR Score. Compare it to what your score was 1 year ago. The lower the score, the calmer your personality is! 😀

Let me give it a try first!
My F score is 4
I score is 3
The R score is 3 again!
That makes my FIR score 10 out of 30!
One year ago everything was double, so it was 20 out of 30 😮
@Fristo
Ooh this was fun, Fristo, I am happy your score improved hehe.💛
Currently it's a little high for me! (':
I should come back to this thread in a year to compare, if I'm still around xD and if I remember this post lol.
@Fristo
Thank you for this fun and informative addition to our community.
It would’ve been great to know my score from a year ago, or even beyond that, compared to now.
But based on what’s going on around me I suppose it will fluctuate. Perhaps I can assess this on a weekly basis?! 🤔Lol
I checked my score. It's currently the same numbers you had last year. Mine is 20/30 this year. I probably won't check back, but it was interesting to score resilience in 3 questions.
@Fristo
F: 3
I: 8
R: 10
Total: 21
What does this tell us if anything?
@Gettingbettertoday
I believe it's a relative measure more than it trying to tell you anything on its own. If you compare your scores in time, be it every month, year, or whatever frequency you decide, you can see if you're becoming more or less resilient. If you're improving or not.
@Fristo will explain this better
@Aputik
So it will be useless since in a year from now I won't even remember doing this.
@Gettingbettertoday
I imagine that you wouldn’t have to necessarily do this “yearly”.
You can assess yourself weekly, bi-monthly or monthly perhaps….to see if you made progress.
@Aputik Yes, you are right! We can compare the past us with the present us. It could be 1 week past, 1 month past, or even 1 year past! Progress is gradual I feel (for me, at least), so I like to compare my present me with how I was 1 year ago.
@Fristo
My F score is 5
My I score is 5
My R score is 5
So, I guess my FIR score is 15. Not too shabby if I say so myself.
soo i got 3,7,4 = 14. I'll check in with myself later and see if it got better or worse. :)
@Fristo 1) How frequently do you get disturbed (when your balance is shaken)? 8
