**This past week went well. It went quick and for the most part, pretty quiet~.... I stayed on track and plan with meals, activity (and even sleep and water!.. Which I'm usually not quite on target with).
**Whether turned a little cooler here this week, but I didn't let it stop me from getting outdoors and to the track to stay on plan with activity. I only taught "One" Zumba class this week so I really had to "up my game" at staying on track with other things to be sure to get something in each day.
**Things are starting to come alive again where I live a bit...and lots of activities are starting to take place again like before. (Mostly outdoor stuff).. I still continue to avoid larger crowds and places... and continue to wear my mask at all times even during my workouts (which doesn't bother me at all and its a personal choice and preference).
**Todays intentions are to get to a Fitness class early in the morning, and then not much else because its supposed to rain here the entire day~
....But... on the otherhand, I will attempt to use that time wisely and try to get some things done around the house that need done!![]()
ENJOY THE WEEKEND~
@PoliteOcean
○ Last week I get to sleep more yay!
○ Next week, try again to sleep on time, wake up on time and more yoga practice.
○ I'd say rainy season, but only if city's infrastructure is great to not cause flood.
Look forward to meeting everyone in Open Chat session on Saturday 11 PM ET only at.... Healthy Living Room 😀
Thank you for the post and tag Ocean 💗 Have a nice weekend and wonderful week ahead!
@ouiCherie
Hey there Oui!...
Awesome that you got to sleep more! Yay! Being able to get extra sleep feels sooooo Good!!.... And how great for you that you are going to continue to work on this as well as practice more Yoga! Good for you for working on some Healthy Habits there!
I hope that you are able to get all of these things accomplished for yourself this week ahead! Keep up the great work that you are doing for yourself as well as here in the Healthy Living Community! You are a great addition to this community and we are so glad to have you!

Have a great week ahead!
@PoliteOcean
Last week I had a night out with nephews and cousins. It was a night of games and fun
So fun that it took a whole day to recover xD
Healthiest thing I did was not drink. Usually our parties are loaded with alcohol and fried foods. But this time was different.
Next week, I would wanna get back to my workout routine. Which I slipped from due to laziness and sickness.
Spring or Autumn would be ideal. What say?
@DonaldDraper
Sounds like you had a great time with your family. To me those are the BEST of times!
And congrats at staying on track through that party and integrating healthy habits and mindset!
And hopefully this week ahead will find you (or is finding) that you are back to getting on track with your workouts and activity.
Thanks for checking in and keeping us up to speed on your week~
**Past week for me was a mixture of many different experiences, i made new friends but also got scolded for not giving them enough time, keep up with my social life is sometimes tiring** **For my well-being I learn energy healing and read about Tai-chi. I hope to start practicing it soon**
@Boon4U
Hey there Boon!...
Sounds like you had quite a week....Despite getting "scolded", its always nice to make some new friends. Hopefully they or all of you are able to be understanding towards one another so that there isn't any conflict moving forwards (without me knowing the whole story of what happened).
But its really great that you are learning energy healing and reading up about Tai-Chi! I hear Tai-chi can be really beneficial from those who've done it. Let us know how that continues to go for you and what benefits that you are finding with it!
Thanks so much for stopping by to check-in with us this week to let us know how you are doing and how things are going for you! Thanks for sharing with us!
@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday I was supposed to have a therapy appointment but there was a miscommunication, so we didn't connect. I'll ask my therapist about it. Later on Monday I went grocery shopping and also for a walk. I skipped my walk last week. Wednesday I had an acupuncture appointment, it was my 12th for this year. Thursday I started on presciption strength Vitamin-D. I'm supposed to take one capsule per week for 12 weeks in a row. Friday I could have gone for a walk but decided to stay home and study computers. I really don't know exactly what the process will be for transitioning out of this rat hole I'm living in. I won't be able to move out for another 6-9 months so I don't need to worry about that now. One thing I've discovered is that my life needs a purpose. It's a difficult thing to deal with because I worked so hard on so many projects and have little to show for it. I'm reading through the gospel of John for my spiritual life. I started writing a blog a few weeks ago but I don't know what to write about. I'm supposed to write about my feelings, but the only thing I feel is 24 hour pain and bitterness. That's not very interesting for an audience. I cut myself off from my feelings because I have no way of processing them. For this upcoming week I have therapy on Monday and acupuncture on Wednesday.
@Regmo
Hey there Regmo!... Oh no, thats too bad about your therapy appointment. Hopefully moving forward this doesn't continue to happen for you and things get back on track. Thats great for you that you were able to get a walk in for yourself and get outdoors for some activity! I see you are now receiving a new prescription for the Vit D.. So its good that you are able to get out and about when you can. Getting more sunshine can help you to get it naturally as well. i know what you mean when by having a purpose. We all should be able to have a "purpose" that wakes us up each day, and that we look forward to and helps us to thrive from day to day. It can certainly make things difficult or more challenging when we feel that we don't have that in our lives. And can make things feel uncertain at times. But, its good that we don't have to have all the answers or come up with the answers all at once. Taking things day by day, trying new things, or even trying out some "old" things can help sometimes. And having a 'Spiritual" Life can help immensely! I know it certainly helped me through many challenging moments. I'm really proud of you for doing that for yourself and sharing that with us. I remember at a particular time in my life when I was instructed to "write" , that it was really negative in the beginning. It was hard to focus on or see positive. I know the more that I was able to get more into my "Spiritual" life, I found that it really helped in moving forwards in what I was writing about. It was like being a different person. So perhaps maybe you will find that to be similiar for yourself now that you are studying it more as well too? You just have to give yourself a little time to get there. Writing more, can perhaps help you moving forward in processing your feelings more for sure. Please let us know how that continues to go for you moving forwards! Thank you for checking in this week and sharing everything with us and letting us know how things have been going for you. Really interested in hearing how things go for you with your Spiritual studies.
My week was difficult, but I am grateful to be alive.
@joyousHug4511

**Hey Everyone~ How has the past week gone for you? It had it ups and downs. Every time I had something happen to me, my boyfriend's ex had to top it. I am frustrated because I cannot get time with just him without her wedging in.
I also got new colored pencils, but my carpal tunnel has been worst. I do have a doctor's appointment in May and a brace.
**What is The ONE Healthiest thing that you did for yourself and your well-being this week?! I have been going to diet soda and Gadorade G4 (sugar free)
**We are heading into the Last Week of April already!...What is "One" thing that you would like to work on, get done, or Do for yourself in the next week ahead?! I accomplished my monthly writing goal of 30,000 words, six days early with carpal tunnel.
I got an exercising pedal machine this week, I hope to get it into my schedule.
**JUST FOR FUN: If you could Only have "One" season year round, which season would it be and Why?! I love fall, The nice temps, colorful leaves, and hot cocoa.
**What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week?
Well I am fighting my hand as I type. . . I have a brace on it, and my fingers are still throbbing, numb, and tingly. I have a doctor's appointment for it on May 6th. I am very nervous as most doctors think that losing weight is the answer for everything. I have PCOS and thyriod issues which causes weight lose to be very hard. Between carpal tunnel and gout . . . it's very hard to exercise without pain.
My female issues have made me very tired and moody.
I am in love with my boyfriend. I believe he loves me, but he will not push his ex aside because he is afraid she will got postal and suidical. He will blame himself if she does something stupid. I feel like she wants hom back and it manipilating him because of it. She gets whatever she wants because he is scared to say or do something wrong, so I am getting the short end of everything, because I am the stable one. However he has my heart and I do not see myself with anyone else. I just wish his ex would simply move on.
**What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us about your Week?! WE want to hear from "YOU"~![]()
@Rebekahwriter13
Hey there!
Thats too bad that you are still having to deal with the stressors of your BF's "Ex". Sounds like he really needs to make some choices to get her to stop interfering with your relationship. It should really be up to him to set those boundaries with the Ex. Its really up to him to do that. He's lucky that you are continuing to be so very patient with him!
How nice that you were able to get some new colored pencils.. Its always nice to have something new and cheerful..... How great that you have a doctors appointment (and a brace) to help with your Carpel Tunnel until your appointment. Hopefully they will be able to help you more with that. I understand that can be pretty painful to have. May will be here before you know it!
How AWESOME for you on incorporating some healthier drinks for yourself! And getting a Pedal machine and also accomplishing your writing goal!!.. That is so amazing!...Good for you! Keep up the great work on that!! And keep us updated on how all of that is going for you! We are so proud of you.
We are so sorry to hear that you have to deal with those health concerns. I know that both of those can be a double-issue when combined together and make things more challenging. It sounds like you are starting to take some charge by incorporating healthier choices and that is certainly a great start. Just starting with small things like making some "easy swaps" can make a huge difference! (Swapping regular sodas for diet, then perhaps even moving to only one a day, then maybe keep going from there).. Adding more water. Swapping 'white' flour foods for whole grains (breads, cereals, rice,etc..) It can seem overwhelming at times, but taking things day by day and little by little can help! Before you know it, you won't really even know the difference much and it simply becomes a new habit!
Best of luck and good vibes to you on all of your healthier choices and plans moving forwards. And with your May Appointment! Keep us updated on how everything is going! And as always thank you for checking in this week to keep us up to date on how things are going for you.
I’ve been struggling with finding meaningful “me time.” Due to work deadlines piling up against one another, I’ve not had a day off since Sunday, April 11th. I’ve been putting in over 60 hour weeks at work and about 16 to 20 hour weeks for homework for two college courses. When I walk away from my computers, I plop down in front of Amazon Prime to not have to think about anything for a while. I’m tired, burned out, and have been overeating.
@ImANeurotic1965
Hey there!
We're sorry to hear that you are struggling with finding time for yourself! That can certainly be challenging. We hope that you are able to find some time to "schedule" with yourself.Just like you would any other important appointment! You sound like you have been working very hard recently! And it can surely be difficult to be faced with so many deadlines and busy workloads (along with having no time off to recoup from it all)! I remember how challenging working and being in Nursing school was for me with all the crazy hours and work challengings. It was tough. But our bodies and minds can only handle so much stress. Which can certainly lead to burn-out and overeating! We hope that you are able to find just a few quiet moments for yourself 'each day'! Taking just 15-30 minutes to relax and unwind (by walking away from your stressor and allowing yourself to just 'breathe') can help. Simply stepping outside to get some fresh air, taking a power nap, or grabbing a "healthy" bite to eat, can help to "REFRESH & RECHARGE" your body and mind!
We hope that you find some time to do some of the things mentioned above! Even if all you do is relax for a few moments is with "Amazon Prime", as long as you are finding something you enjoy for yourself in the midst of all the hectic activity can help!
Good luck to you on finding some valuable and needed "Me time"! We are here to support you. Thanks for checking in this week to share and let us know how things are going for you! Please keep us up to date on how you are doing.
Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been busy. LOL! Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful suggestions. I will make it a point to get away from my desk more often this weekend. I still have overtime due to a deadline. Thanks again!
Happy Friday!
