This week actually went pretty well.... The weather has been awesome here all week. Very sunny, and very hot..
...Anxiety levels have been lower the past week, kept my app'ts, got the puppy out for his daily walks "everyday" (so he was very happy)!....Also got several days of Co-teaching Zumba classes in, practiced some new choreo, got in some evening walks through the neighborhood with the hubby, and stayed on track with my eating.
Today is REST DAY (and "Treat" day as well) so Yay!...... (however, I managed to make it to a POUND FITNESS class today since they only hold them every 2 weeks in my neighborhood), and then afterwards did some Swimming for a while. It was too beautiful and hot "not" to go swimming!...Then after all of that, went shopping with my hubby. ~Got some Summer Hats and some Fall hats (its been years since I've worn hats! lol...so it was fun to try on and to see that they actually looked great and worked out)...also got some jeans, a new leash for my puppy, and some stuff for the house.) It was a pretty busy day. Hope everyone else's week has been going well!

Feeling a little all over the place.
I had a long day of medical stuff yesterday. I'm now on a 4th injectable medication and am not yet able to self-administer that (it's once a week for now and will go less often after a few weeks). I will at least be able to self-administer after a while which was good to hear because I know of others who are on it where their doctors insist it's done in clinic.
I had multiple abnormal test results. This is good, as I've been semi-expecting to get a chronic fatigue syndrome diagnosis, or even worse being told I likely have it but no diagnosis but other conditions have to be ruled out first and I have other conditions. Abnormal test results mean that there are potentail diagnoses for conditions that are better understood and more treatable than CFS. I'm currently already doing more aggressive forms of treating 2 deficiences I found out about already, so hopefully there will be some reduction in symptoms fairly quickly.
I was feeling pretty miserable yesterday, having to go through more medical appointments can be pretty exhausting and I'm back in it for the long haul with some things already having a 6 month plan and more to come, I'll be on a wait list to see a new specialist, my arm hurt from the injection and I really hadn't eaten enough until I was back at home, chatting on here and realizing how little I had eaten and yet still wasn't hungry. Eating some food certainly did help some of that.
Today was much better, I went to an end of summer event. I walked there so hopefully that will help a bit with missing out on exercising this week - scheduling wise and with some smokey days that just didn't happen. I did have 2 naps today, but they felt more restorative than normal and I was feeling pretty good while at the event. Hopefully signs that the injection is making a difference already. We'll see how the rest of this week goes.
I have some new things starting up this week, I am hoping that I'm not going to end up pushing myself too hard. I am feeling hopefully for a bit of extra energy too though and will try to not put in too many other things this week. Sometimes when I'm feeling good it's fun to think of all the different things I could possibly do in a week, but as long as I don't actually make plans they are usually just fun things to think about because of the limited spoons.
@AffyAvo
Its good that today has been much better for you, and that you got to go and enjoy a summer event.... I love those. My anixety can get in the way of me going to enjoy things like that sometimes....And its even better that you felt strong enough to be able to walk there as well!....
You sound excited as well about the new things that you are about to be doing... thats good. And you will have to let us know how you feel the injection is working for you. I will agree, it is defiintely nice to think of all the things that you can accomplish in a week, when physical and emotional stuff isn't trying to stand in the way of it all all we can do is take it day by day, week by week... Thanks for checking in this week and letting us know how everything has been going, and let us know in the next check-in how things have gone this coming week for you and if you got to do all the things that you are setting your mind to do! Hopefully they will all transpire for you!
I have been practicing yoga at home, so that is good :) I started a new med and it makes me pretty drowsy :/
Hey guys my week has been alright I unfortunately got strep throat so dealing with that has kinda sucked. I've also decided I really need to commit to trying to quit smoking I've been on and off for years and when I went to the doctor for strep I had a pulse of almost 90 resting and over 100 walking (that's way higher than it should be) and my blood pressure is high so I need to really focus on my health in the next couple months. If anyone has any advice that would be great!
@Colinpwolf
Hey Colinwolf....Sorry to hear that you've had those issues this past week, but its great that you realize that quitting smoking will certainly be a great and healthier change for yourself. Have you talked to your doctor about different things or ways to help with that? There are so many things out there now (Patches, meds, special chewing gum, and of course the E-cigs) Not sure if you have ever tried any of those in the past? If not, perhaps talking to your doctor could place you on the right track with that?!..... I know from experience that qitting isn't the easiest thing to do, but when we "really" want something for ourselves, we just have to try our best to make them happen and if we can't do it on our own, then we reach out for help. Best wishes for you to be able to start making a change for yourself! And I'm so glad that you checked in this week with us. I do hope that you continue to check in and let us know how things are going for you! You can do it!
I've spent less time on being inside watching series and more time on taking walks outside or grooming (nice lotions, doing my nails etc). I feel all the better for it, more productive and energetic.
What is your healthy living practice today?
.... .... .... .... .... I ate something that qualified as Lunch, even though it was already 2:30 in the afternoon. I plan to begin making supper here within the hour. And drink milk! (of course that's every day for me, but you know)

Sounds like you are doing some great things for yourself. And its ok if you had a "late" lunch! At least you took the time to make it for yourself. So great job. Keep up the great work that you are doing no matter how small, everything adds up to bigger and better things. Thank you so much for checking in with us this week and letting us know how you are doing!
Journaling every day
@BeingOfService
Great job Service!... Journaling is a great practice that can help us "emotionally and mentally" which eventually helps us overall "physically"! Keep up the great work! And thank you so much for checking in with the community this week!
@PoliteOcean My pleasure!
I haven't really had the best week, my anxiety has kept me up until early morning several times.
Haven't been feeling the best, anxiety has been pretty bad.
I was on track for drinking enough water a few days in a row.
I joined this app and have made a point of being interactive with it. I check in with my therapist everyday, even when I don't feel like talking to someone.
I made an appointment with an optometrist to get new glasses, went to the appointment and pick the glassses up in about a week.
@adventurousCircle7641
I'm sorry to hear that your anxiety has been giving you issues.... I know personally how challenging having Anixety can be. But I think its awesome of you that you are taking steps for yourself which includes you joining the app as well as checking in with your therapist. And everyday?! Thats wonderful!.. At least you are taking steps to feel better and to try and help yourself, and thats not always easy but you are doing it!...
And you are staying on track by drinking enough water! That can be a difficult thing as well for most people to do on most days...But you are doing that as well!
And you are going even further taking steps to take care of your "eye" health as well!... (I am way behind on getting my app't in, I've been trying to do the same as well because I'm long overdue for mine).... So keep up the AWESOME job that you are doing!... This is terrific. Thank you so much for checking in this week and for letting us know how you've been doing.
Started yoga at home and some other flexibility exercises thats it I guess ':)
@TheShadow99
Thats really great Shadow!... And no matter how small you think that might be, remember that you are doing something really great for your "overall" health (Physcial, mental and emotional)! Yoga is a very great and healthy practice that offers so many healthy benefits. Keep up the great work and thank you for checking in with the community this week!
