**This past weekend was another mildly stressful one.. I found myself under-the-weather again and not feeling the best... I think it could've been due to the stress I was putting myself under the week prior (due to all the issues arising at the studio I teach classes at)... Things are still up in the air with that on how they will play out in the New year ahead... I guess I just have to realize I can only do what I can do, (or feel that I need to do) and "bide my time".....That things will run their course and time will lead the way in however this all goes.

**Due to not feeling the best for a few days at the start of the week, I didn't get in as much activity as I would have liked or normally do. BUT.. I did get in some decent sleep! I actually felt refreshed this week despite not feeling well, and obviously it was due to the sleep I got..... I did manage to teach class at the begining of the week before not feeling well, and then at the end of the week when I started to feel better!.. So those days worked out. I'm still trying to get over the lingering nagging "Cough" though~ So, I've been trying to get in lots of liquids as well. My food was pretty light this week with not much of an appetite, but I managed to stay on track.

**The weather has been back and forth and getting colder here. "Its Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas"!..wink Which also means I haven't really gotten out much either to walk in the mornings....I'm a few "Giftcards" away from being completely done with Christmas shopping (thank goodness). And Monday will be my LAST class that I teach for the year! Then I will be taking a holiday break from teaching. So looking forward to that.

**Today since feeling better, my intentions are to get up early and head out to a class to start off the weekend.... And then run some errands and then possibly head to a Christmas Festival and to look at some lights.

ENJOY THE WEEKEND~yes

@PoliteOcean hello ocean. hope you are well!

**Hey Everyone! How Has the past week gone for you?

i guess there were many ups and downs this past week. at the beginning of the week i was able to workout really well, but yesterday i started getting in a bad pain because of some ilnesses i have, so now i wont be able to workout for like the next 3 days and thats really annoying. My stomach is really really weak (we dont know yet what illness i have but we have been searching for years) and yesterday i did the mistake to drink some coca cola. usually i feel good afterwards, but yesterday it was horrible.

**How is December going for you so far? How have you been feeling over all?

focusing on school, its not going that well. even though i have been studying so much, the exams didnt go well at all.

focusing on health, i guess until yesterday it was doing pretty good.

though overall, i have been gaining so much self-confidence! its like i am a whole new person.

**What are your plans for these last two weeks of the month?! What things are you still working on? How is the Holiday "Hustle" going for you if you celebrate (Gifts, Spending, Stress, Traffic etc..)?

my plans are doing well at my last two exams next week and then spending some LOVELY holiday time at my family vacation. we will be spending christmas at the beach!!

**Just for fun...If you celebrate the Christmas Holiday, what is the BEST gift you've ever receieved? What's the BEST you've ever Given to someone else?!

i can not think of any "best gift" i have ever recieved but i guess it was something non-materialistic. For example, on christmas 2017 i decided to start fighting against my mental issues!

the best gift i have ever made.... (i think this was on christmas) but i gave my best friend a sweater with a picture of us on it and she wears it like EVERYDAY.

**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week?

highlights: good relationship with food, great time with friends!!, confidence

struggles: health, school.

**What are your weekend Plans?

i got up pretty early today, at least for me (8am) and today i will study biology a lot for my exam and tonight i will be meeting with friends - we are having a christmas theme party!

Hey there.. Thank you for the kind words...

Sounds like overall things have been going well for you despite having some struggles with your health and schooling?!...

Thats tough when you go through some issues and not knowing quite what it is thats causing the problem. And then to have it "set you back" in your healthy living goals and journey as well. That can be difficult. I've been there. I do hope whatever the issues are that you are feeling better, and that they will be able to find out what it is thats causing it?!

Until then, 3 days (while I know that can be frustrating) isn't too long to wait to get back in the swing of things!.. (I myself wasn't feeling well this past week so it got me off track with workouts as well) so I know how that can feel for sure.

Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful holiday with your family?! I mean who wouldn't love a beach holiday?!.. The beach is one of my top favorite places to be. I would live at the beach if I could~ How long will you be there for? What are your plans while there?

Sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead of studying and good holiday fun with friends! Enjoy!... Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things have been going for you. Continue to keep us informed on how you are doing!

**How is December going for you so far? How have you been feeling over all? It's been great so far. I have been feeling pretty good in general.

**This is our 2nd Check-in for December and we are now "Half-Way" through this month already!.. (Time sure is flying)! Have you been sticking to the goals that you've set for yourself this month? How is that going for you? I haven't been making any goals since I have been so busy.

**What are your plans for these last two weeks of the month?! What things are you still working on? How is the Holiday "Hustle" going for you if you celebrate (Gifts, Spending, Stress, Traffic etc..)? I have a few parties I am going to. The hustle is a bit more chill this year.

**Just for fun...If you celebrate the Christmas Holiday, what is the BEST gift you've ever receieved? What's the BEST you've ever Given to someone else?! I can't really think of either. I guess I don't focous on gifts as much as I used to.

**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week? Highlights is always spending time with my boyfriend. My struggle is the lack of energy.

Hey there! Sounds like things are still going really well for you. You sounds really happy. (I'm sure that the boyfriend has alot to do with that?!!)....Sounds like you are having a pretty good holiday season. Are you and your boyfriend exchanging gifts with one another this year?

Its challenging to feel and have a lack of energy. I know at one time you were wanting to get back to the gym more. Have you had any time to do that or add that back in at all? Hopefully with more rest or extra rest you will start to feel better again!... Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going. Its been great to hear from you each week.

Heya Ocean !

The past week has been quite alright. It really didnt start well with the drama with my friend, and Im still a bit bitter, disappointed and angry about it, even if I definitely dont regret my decision. Thankfully work has been really busy and didnt leave me too much time to think about it. Im also finding myself really interested in my work, which is so great and such a relief, as I was taking a risk by accepting this project.

All in all, Id say December is going great! Im slowly settling in the team and progressing on all the techniques I need to know. Im looking forward getting some rest though, as Ive been struggling a bit with getting enough of quality sleep.

I still have one week of work left, and then Ill be going back home for the holidays. There are big transport strikes here but it should be okay. Before that I still need to get a few things done, like blood analysis and paperwork, so I hope Ill find the time/motivation for that.

Im not a fan of gifts, I usually struggle a lot with findings ideas to give. The best gift I ever got was a painting from my dad, that my mother had made framed and offered me, as well as a photo album she had made, it was a really meaningful gift and its what gets to me the most. The best gift Ive given was probably a painting as well that I offered to my mom in addition to the gift she was expecting. Im hoping to do that again this year but not sure if Ill have the time to do it. Ill try to get some of it done today! But Ive got lots of things to do, some baking for the Christmas meal at work, some work as well, a bit of shopping, a very likely nap… At least it will be a productive weekend!

I hope your weekend is going well and you got to enjoy the Christmas festival! Its such a cool thing to do on this time of the year. Take care x

Hey there Waves!

How great that you are enjoying the work that you do.. Not everyone can say that!... Its awesome for you that December has been going well for you despite that you've been "struggling" a bit with your sleep. It seems that always tends to be an issue for many of us here. Is getting good quality sleep. Im sure that if most of us actually took a good long look at our "habits" we'd actually see where and why we stuggle with that. (For instance, I know for me, is that I don't lay down early enough, as I tend to stay up later than I should).

How nice that you will be soon going back home for the holidays... Forgive my memory, but where exactly is "Home" for you again? I haven't been "home" for Christmas in many years. How nice that must be for you.

I can totally relate to you on the whold "struggle" with gift-giving. Unless I have a list in front of me of what somebody wants, then I am NO good at getting gifts for anyone.... Sounds like your weekend was VERY busy with lots of Holiday Rush and madness?!... Baking, shopping etc... ... I hope that you got done everything you needed and that you had a productive time.

I do love Christmas festivals this time of year.. really I love ALL festivals (Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall) lol... But Fall and Christmas are the Best ones!...Just wish I had time to attend them all.

Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things have been going for you! Its always great to hear from you each week and to stay up to date on how you are doing.

Thanks a lot for your kind answer as always !

For going to bed earlier, Ive been told that creating some kind of before sleep routine and setting a curfew can be helpful. Its tough though when youre not finished with the things you had to get done…

About home, well, Im home right now, where Ive recently moved in for work. But my mothers place is still kinda home as well – even though this time Ive moved out lots of my stuff so my room will be a bit empty !

Take care and enjoy the rest of the week!

@PoliteOcean Here is how this past week went. Monday, I went to see my kidney specialist and the office was closed. I was supposed to find out the results of my blood test. Wednesday I got a massage. Saturday, I went over to my old condominium with two people who are helping me move. The purpose was simply to give them an idea of what needs to be done, not to actually move anything. It was an ordeal. The person from the property management company didn't have the right keys. We had already got back in the car and headed back home when they called us and said they found the proper keys. I'm concerned that not all my stuff is going to fit in my new place. It wiped me out for the whole day on Saturday. I asked a Ukrainian woman to be my girlfriend but I haven't heard back from her. My house manager doesn't feed me very well. It's so annoying. Having good nutrition is the first line of defense against poor health. No one can understand it.

@Regmo

Hey there Regmo... Sorry to hear that your visit to the Kidney specialist didn't go as planned for you.... I hope that you get your whole "Moving situation" sorted out. And that you find that your things do actually fit and workout in your new space...Have you thought about maybe trying to 'sell' a few things to create space? Perhaps even maybe make a few bucks from what might not be able to fit or stay? Just a thought. Sorry to hear that your house manager isn't feeding you well. That isn't right. Is there anyone that you could complain to about it? Somebody that could help with that? And yes, I agree, eating well and having "proper" nutrition is so very important for us and and our over-all Health and well-being. Absolutely!... Please let us know how things are going or work out with the Ukrainian woman. Thanks for checking in this week and for keeping us up to date on how things are continuing to go for you. We look forward to hearing from you. Take care

**The past week has been rough. I haven't been feeling good physically and my mental health went downhill quickly. spiraling hard this week.

**Overall I'm feeling like crap but like it's a necessary phase. I had an emotional explosion with my dad which was much needed but not easy. I was really vulnerable with things I said and I still feel that "vulnerability hangover". I hope it will lead to a path of healing.. Kind of at a fork where I feel like for my sanity I will need to feel safer in my relationships with my parents or set some serious boundaries with them.

** I've mostly stuck to my goals I think. I've caught up with a friend; one of my goals was getting back in touch with people. But haven't felt much motivation to do more socializing. I've stuck to going to therapy even when I hate it. I've spent a lot of time processing emotions and crying. I'm still feeling lost and confused but I think I'm on the right track.

**Holiday "Hustle" is going okay. I got my two closest friends' gifts mailed to them on time which was a success. I did a lot of home-made gifts this year since I don't have much money.. but honestly I'd always rather make things for people I think. I designed and ordered some ornaments for some friends in Europe which got delayed so now they won't get them until mid January which is frustrating. I'm a bit of a grinch about christmas because it wasn't a very happy time growing up so there's a lot of extra emotion tied to it. I used to spend the holiday at the bar with fellow "misfits" but that group of friends no longer lives nearby. Being my first holiday at home in 5ish years its all feeling very overwhelming.

**The best holiday gift I've received is probably a hammock from my boss a few years back. It's lightweight and great for traveling; it's become kind of like a security blanket for me. The best gift I've given might be surprise concert tickets or massages. I just sent a friend his frist hammock and I think that was a pretty good gift too.

**Highlights: Talking to my long distance "inner circle" friends on the phone over the weekend. **Finding an audiobook that I'm really into. Also getting the next season of a show I've been watching from the library (Public libraries are the BEST). Struggles: HEALTH INSURANCE is a NIGHTMARE. Basically uninsured and can't get insureded without paying half of my monthly income just for a catastrophic plan (**insert long rant about America's f**ked up health care system**). So stuck in the cycle of: can't afford insurance because I can't work; can't work because I'm sick, Cant get better because I can't afford healthcare: Can't afford healthcare because I don't have insurance: and repeat. sad

**Over the weekend I baked some which was nice. I cleaned the yoga studio. I felt sick still with a cold so spent a lot of time in bed listening to an audiobook. Friday night went to a yoga class when I had a day of energy but it pretty much knocked me out for the rest of the weekend.

@GrowingGinkgo8847

Sounds like you had a pretty roller coaster of a week filled with some physical and mental challenges. That can be difficult to deal with when you have to deal with "both" at the same time. Thats too bad that things took a challenging turn as well with your dad. Do you know what the root of the issue was or why the emotional explosion took place? How did he respond to that? Were you both able to get past that? How do you feel things will continue to go moving forward for you both? I hope that you both can perhaps find time to talk over things, and your expectations and continue to heal and keep moving forward.

Its great for you that you feel that you have for the most part stuck with the goals you have for yourself. And despite the fact that Therapy is not always a "wanted" thing, and that it can be emotionally draining and exhausting, that you are continue to hang in there and keep up with your appointments! Thats important for sure.

Sounds like you had some really wonderful "Hightlights" from the past week, as well as "enjoyable"!.. Good for you!.... I would certainly have to agree on your American "Healthcare" concept. We could certainly do better here with that. Thats for sure. And yes, it can be a continuing (and sometimes exhausting struggle). I do hope that eventually gets sorted out for you and you are able to get the help that you are needing with that.

Depsite that you weren't feeling the best (And it seems alot of that is going around), That you were still able to do some great and productive things (Baking, cleaning up the yoga studio and listening to audiobooks.) It all sounds like it was really great for the 'Soul"!...

Thanks so much for checking in this past week despite that you weren't feeling well, to let us know how you've been doing! And for continuing to keep us up to date on things.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply. I do know where the explosion came from; I've been doing a lot of "inner child" work and it's bringing up a lot of things with my parents. I haven't ever really felt comfortable talking to either of them so it's a little weird to have these outbursts as a grown adult but feel like a child when I have them. My dad is willing to go to therapy; we should be starting in the next couple weeks. I think it will be really helpful but I'm nervous about it.

Therapy is work! I almost missed therapy yesterday; I was having a serious fatigue day and so tired. But then as I started to reply to your message I realized that I had therapy so thanks for the unintended prompt! haha.

I'm looking at finding some part-time work that offers insurance so hopefully something will pan out. Thanks for your positivity and encouragement.

But I read it, paused a long while, metaphorically held the messages quietly, .... wondered about how anyone can manage that health situation you described (no real answers to come from me) just a lot of ... long-distance invisible compassion and comprehension felt. ...

Hey there.. Long time no see. We haven't seen lately!

How neat to celebrate a birthday on Friday the 13th?!... How was it, how did it go? Any superstitions for you surrounding this day? Did you do anything special?... How do you feel having a birthday so close to Christmas?!

How nice that you've gotten your friendship back with an old friend. Thats a good feeling.

Hopefully another good Christmas gift for you is that you can continue to keep your spirits up through the holidays and feel better through the anemia and female issues you have been dealing with. Hopefully things will look up for you.

Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting everyone know how you've been doing. Its been nice to see you check in again.
