❤️ This week has gone well... I continued to keep on track with Workouts, activity, Water, Meal-planning, (and Sleep)!..... I feel like I've done better this week in my personal goals. I'm back to including my vitamins again as well and have noticed a difference in my energy levels..... I'll continue to work on and push a little further & add-on going in the new week ahead.

❄️ This week the weather has felt more "Early Spring-Like" here which was nice to see. The buds are starting to "bud & bloom" again. And I even saw & heard the "Seagulls" today, even though we're a bit further away from the coast. But its always awesome to see them in our area... I was able to get back outdoors more, & get in more walks with the "Fur-baby". While also continuing on with Group Fitness classes each day. This week we also got a bike similar to a Paleoton, and we are ready to get it all set up and continue adding in more.

❤️ This weekend will be a bit chillier and they are calling for some rain. No major plans so far. But will work on some "early" Spring-cleaning since it will be a good time for it. And some minor errands, and movie night.~

❤️ Hey everyone, how are you?

Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.

❄️How has your week been for you?... What was at least One personal accomplishment this week?!

I find the act of being alive an accomplishment for me at this time. So, go me.

⛄️February is the Month to celebrate "Love".... What are some ways you have or could incorporate "SELF-LOVE" This month?!... (Physically, mentally, & emotionally)

Physically: shower, skincare, wash and brush hair, use silk pillow and eye mask if I can, keep up with laundry and dishes as best I can, try eat healthy, try enjoy it when you go 🚴‍♀️ 🚵‍♀️ 🚴.

Mentally: study Mindful Self Compassion workbook at least once, reach out to bereavement helpline if need be, try do a JYN worksheet a day, try journal daily, try pull cards once, see if your readers posted anything new, indulge in your favourite food, rent some movies, write, check in with Avia daily.

Emotionally: make bed, meditate morning and evening, study feng shui and put it in action, take out the trash when needed, give yourself a break when needed, give yourself a hug when needed, try say a positive thing about yourself for every negative thing, look into RISE program, practice gratitude, connect with inner child, get enough sleep, drink enough water, wear comfortable shoes. Yell if you have to. Sing. Play guitar. Eat chocolate without wanting to curse it's deliciousness to the most nether of nethers. Neither of niethers.

❤️ JUST FOR FUN: "FEBRUARY" Celebrates various things this month. (Black History Month, Valentines Day, National Pizza Day etc).... Do you know any other events that are celebrated this month?!....If so, share, or tell us in what ways do you or have you celebrate these events.

There's a full moon and President's Day (US). Sometimes during a full moon I'll celebrate by not getting enough sleep and cursing it to the eeniest of meeniest-miny-moes while trying to tell myself I'm fine when really I'm FINE (Freaked out, Insecure, Neurotic, Emotional.). So at least I got that goin for me. And how are we supposed to celebrate President's Day (US)? Does one have to be a president? I never have. Celebrated it, nor been a president. Perhaps this is the year.

❄️What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?......

Highlights were movie and ice cream night, having the basic needs met, kindness and compassion and gratitude.

Struggles were: I mean...this is life. What shall I say?

How were you able to work through your challenges?!

I don't know. Perhaps Nike's millions and possibly billions of dollars sunk into their marketing campaigns has finally changed me to one who 'just does it'.

@Dallady

Hey there Dalla, I love that quote....

(Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.)....

Its great for you that despite how you are feeling , or how things go for you day to day, that you are able to find something positive in it. No matter what it is, or how big or small... Also being able to take care of ourselves and incorporate Self-care and Self-love in various ways is a HUGE accomplishment. Great job to you on doing so many things for yourself (physically, mentally, and emotionally) to achieve this! You have done an AMAZING job with these things.
Keep up the great work!

Ha... Its funny that you mentioned Presidents Day.... I truly forgot about that one! Great pick!

I love that again despite any challenges that you have dealt with over the course of the week, that you were able to manage to salvage through all the various positives as well. I mean you can't beat having basic needs being met, IceCream and Movie night (a favorite for me), & kindness compassion and gratitude!

Thank you so much for sharing with us again this week, keeping us up to date on things and how you are doing. Always great to hear from you.

Hi, Ocean,

Hey everyone, how are you? I'm better today.

❄️How has your week been for you?... What was at least One personal accomplishment this week?! I was accepted into grad school.

⛄️February is the Month to celebrate "Love".... What are some ways you have or could incorporate "SELF-LOVE" This month?!... (Physically, mentally, & emotionally) I am trying not to be too hard on myself.

I don't know of any others.

❄️What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?...... How were you able to work through your challenges?! I was fired from my job. That was hard but not devastating. I didn't want to keep the job anyway. That helped a lot.

⛄️ What would "YOU" Like to talk about, add or share with us this week?! ....WE want to hear from YOU!

❤️ Hey everyone, how are you? - Been feeling much more at ease and mentally clear over the past few days, very grateful for it!

❄️How has your week been for you?... What was at least One personal accomplishment this week?! - This week has been more settled and easier to reflect on what changes I really want to make this year

⛄️February is the Month to celebrate "Love".... What are some ways you have or could incorporate "SELF-LOVE" This month?!... (Physically, mentally, & emotionally) - I've been taking way more salt baths like pink Himalayan salt or Lavendar Epsom salt, followed with a coconut oil soap 🧼 Aside from nurturing the skin, this method detoxes my energy. I'm an Empath and can easily absorb and hold on to other people's energy so I set constant boundaries to balance my self and my time, followed with consistent energy detoxing and reseting

- Black History Month and Valentine's Day I was aware of, but discovering National Pizza Day sent me over the moon 🤭 I love pizza! Got a couple Red Baron pizzas in my freezer

❄️What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?...... How were you able to work through your challenges?! - My honest highlight of the week was acknowledging that I have something called Only-Child Syndrome (undiagnosed, not much of a medical condition, possibly not a legit syndrome 😅).

In situations with my loved ones, I noticed all my thoughts and plans involved "I" and "me" more than any other words. Long story short, it's said that people with Only Child syndrome commonly yet unintentionally have these signs and more. I think my level of Empathy keeps it from being harmful because I take full accountability when I catch myself doing it. I have slip ups but with my level of awareness I have no excuse to not correct myself and also give apologies when necessary. I'm aware that the best form of an apology is changed behavior, or consistent attempts once aware.

The reason this is a challenge in *my* world is because it often leads me to impatience or insensitive misunderstandings. Pretty much sending myself into panic attacks and inaccurate assumptions

⛄️ What would "YOU" Like to talk about, add or share with us this week?! ....WE want to hear from YOU! - I just love it here :D With breaks ofcourse, I can confidently say I'm here at 7 Cups to stay. I was born during the rise of technology, that's what I call the late 90s - early 2000s. If you can remember, the first iMac's were being manufactured in different colors, there was the increase of Yahoo, MSN and AOL messengers and chat rooms. Although unsafe in it's early days, I knew the internet was be a platform in the future to reach humanity at each side of the globe. I view 7 Cups as my perfect platform to contribute to humanity whether it be through a short 1-1 chat with me, my encouragement in group rooms, or a post from the past of mine being discovered years later at the right time for someone

Hey there Siren! How lovely to hear from you this week!.....That's great for you that you've been feeling better in various ways recently. And that you of course feel grateful for it all!

How awesome for you that you incorporating lots of self-care and self-love for yourself. I have to admit, Epsom Salt baths are an absolute FAVORITE of mine! I too did the same. Its so relaxing and soothing.... I too am also an "Empath"... so I can totally understand and relate as that can certainly be challenging and 'zap' our energy sources. Setting boundaries is an amazing way to balance things and take care of ourselves. And as you stated, "Reset"!.... Sounds like You are doing an amazing job. Keep up the great work.

Hahah... I too was floored about "National Pizza Day"! lol...That was a new one for me this year. I mean how fun is that?! What is your favorite kind of pizza? What toppings do you like?

😳Whoa! I too am an ONLY Child! ..... Wow..I see that we have ALOT of thing common in your check-in this week! 😮 I totally get it~ And totally understand your post. And I totally "vibe" with what you say about the "impatience" & "insensitive misunderstandings & inaccurate assumptions".....
But... Its great that you have picked up on and find that you can take accountability for certain things... and also make no excuses.

I think its awesome that you are loving 7cups. And that you have found the confidence in being here. Its great that all of us who have been here have found our purpose whether it be working on & helping to improve ourselves, ....helping others,.... or a little (or whole lot of both)! Its absolutely a great platform to connect in so many various ways. And its quite obvious that you are doing an amazing job here as well!

Thank you for being here, and sharing your week with us! It was really great to read and get to know more about you. As well as the things I see that we have in common. Please don't be a stranger and let us know how you are continuing to do!

@PoliteOceanHere’s how the past week went. This past week, I was consistent with my devotional life. I finished my book on Chinese art, and started reading my art book on interpreting Renaissance art and also the art of Imperial Rome. I went for a walk 3 times this week. Tuesday I spent 30 minutes trying to log into my social security account, but wasn’t able to. Wednesday I used alfalfa sprouts. This is a huge accomplishment and a major victory. Leslie is still keeping dead flowers on the dining room table. Saturday morning Stuart left a trail of fece stains on the floor of the bathroom. I didn’t tell Leslie because she does things when she wants to. She eventually cleaned up the floor after a couple of hours. I decided that philosophy of art isn’t the right path for me. It’s too abstract, and I can’t understand what I’m reading. I donated 5 philosophy of art books to the local library. I’m still going to continue with art history studies. I started to read my Biblical commentary on the book of Isaiah and was unhappy with it. It was too theological and had too much focus on word definitions. I prefer a commentary that is expository with application. I returned the Isaiah commentary. Saturday I spent 45 minutes trying to get a print out of my 7 day prayer calendar from the local library and there was some kind of compatibility issues, so I wasn’t able to. Leslie says we’re going to be moving on Wednesday. She’s scatterbrained, disorganized and irresponsible. I’m worried she’s going to lose some of my items.

@Regmo

Hey Regmo, thats good that you were able to continue to keep up with your devotionals, and your books and studies. How awesome for you that you were able to get in 3 walks this week. I found that the weather was certainly good for it. As I was able to get a few in myself. Continue to keep up the Great work!... Hopefully you were able to get the Social Security issue resolved by now. If not, perhaps if you call them? Good job on getting in the Sprouts and doing another healthy thing for yourself. Thats good that you were able to donate so many books to your local library. I'm sure they appreciated it. As well as the next person who will get the chance to read them. Hopefully they will get the issues resolved there as well, so that you as well as others can get print outs when needed. Hopefully whatever happens with your move this week ahead it will be the last time you have to hear about it going forwards. Since she seems to keep going back and forth on it. Its understandable that you feel concerned in regards to your personal belongings and not wanting anything to happen to them. I would have concerns too. Hopefully things will come together smoothly with everything involved. Please continue to keep us up to date on how things go with that. And thanks for checking in this week and sharing with us.
