**This past week went well... Went to several different events last weekend to celebrate the 4th of July holiday. And had a great time~..... The beginning of the week was a mix of indulging a little, but then being able to get back on track with everything. I do find that it can be challenging to get back on track after treating yourself. Summer months can make that most challenging. But, got back on track with meals, water and sleep~

**This week was beautiful out, lots of great weather, able to get out for walks and walks with my dog.... Only taught half my classes due to the holiday week... And was able to get some extra "Down time & Rest time" in this week.~ And it felt really great. Having that extra time is really making me re-evaluate some things in my schedule and my days. And what continues to be the Most important things in spending my time on. But, its trying to implement that. And finding that clarity and balance in it all.

**No specific plans for this weekend~ But the weather for today (Sat) will be excellent!.. So intentions are to get up, get in a group fitness class as usual, maybe a swim in the pool after, and then a few errands throughout the day. And hopefully a great movie to end the night~

ENJOY THE WEEKEND AHEAD~

Hey There, how are you doing? :) smiley

** My week has been pretty good. I did not celebrate the 4th of july holiday.

** This month i'm looking foward the most to improve myself in all aspects of my life and by doing that keep the people around me happy and motivated.

** The healthiest thing that i did for me this past week was going to a session of heiki.

** I would like to travel this summer for sure. :)

** My struggles this past week was to stay motivated and do not lose my focus and my highlights was that i did that.

** Today i would like to share that each day and each week is a gift that we have and i know that sometimes it is difficult to look foward and to face things but i also know that we are all capable to do that. Life is about that... everything passes and everything leaves a learning curve.

@KACOSMIC

Hey there Cosmic!... Thats great for you that your week went good! And that your looking forward to improving personal aspects for yourself. And how awesome of you in considering the happiness, motivation and the well-being of those around you in your life. Thats really thoughtful of you.
How great that you were able to take time to do something healthy for yourself! I don't exactly know what "heiki" is, but now I will certainly have to look it up and educate myself on what it is!

Yes, I'm sure you are not alone in wanting to get out and travel this summer! Where would you like to go?! What would be a favorite place or "wish-list" place?!

Despite that you were struggling to stay motivated and keep focus during the week (which surely tends to be a big struggle for many), its amazing that you were able to overcome that as your highlight! Good for you! Keep up the great work there!

And thank you so much for your "ending insight"!... I think that is something that we all should try to remember and think about. To keep our heads up. As when things get stressful, it can be a challenge to remember that. But you are so correct. Each day is certainly a true gift! And with each day, we continue to learn in all that the day brings.

Thank you so much for checking in this week, and sharing with us and leaving us with these very insightful words of wisdom! And for letting us know how you are doing and how your week has gone for you.

@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday Deysi told me she couldn't work that day. Wednesday I went grocery shopping and then went to acupuncture. The fact I could do both things on the same day means I'm getting stronger. Friday I went for a blood test. After the blood test, I went for a walk on the beach, so I was still able to get my walk in for the week. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to go for a walk because it was hot for a couple of days. My naturopathic doctor says it's good for me to be by the water. I was off the internet for 3 days, so I did the sharing circle only once, but maybe I'll do it later today. For this upcoming week, I'm going grocery shopping on Monday, acupuncture and Wednesday and then physical therapy on Friday. I'm waiting for my medication and homeopathic remedy to kick in, which will be at least 3 weeks. Still reading my book on Cambridge Guide to Modernist Poetry. My heart is so hard from having too many trials with no one to help me. I'm trying to work on it every day, but my progress is at a snail's pace. I'm still in a lot of pain all the time.

@Regmo

Hey there Regmo!..... Thats great to hear that you were able to grocery shop and go to accupuncture on the same day. And when I notice your check-ins lately, It does seem that you have also been able to get out for walks more which to me was also signaling that you were definitely making really good progress! Oh I LOVE the beach. And how amazing that you were able to get a walk there for yourself. Oh you are so lucky. I'm taking you must live near a beach?! That is so awesome if you do. Gosh, I would probably be out there walking everyday if I were closer to one. They say walking on the beach is both great exercise and therapeutic at the same time. Because of walking on the sand, it makes your muscles work harder. And then of course the salty ocean air is great to breathe in, and the ocean itself is good for the soul. Thats great that despite the fact that it was hot where you are, that you were still able to get out there and get it done!..... I know for me, that just being near the water (especially the Ocean), but the lake too or simply a pool, is calming, soothing, and provides so many mental health benefits. And they say its also scientifically proven to do so as well! If you feel that you are getting stronger, I would suggest continuing to get to the ocean as often as you are able to! Not sure if it was for personal reasons or otherwise that you weren't on the internet for a few days, but that could actually be a good thing to just take a break from it once in a while. Somedays I wish I could put down my phone more. It could actually allow us to be so much more productive when we allow ourselves to do so.....Looks like you also have another busy week ahead for yourself. And that you are continuing to keep yourself busy with your book/poetry. Where you state that you feel your heart is hard from the trials that you've been through, I know last week that you also stated that you feel like you were in a better place as far as the help that you've now been finally receiving over the past year! So that is in itself is a good thing that you do now have the help that you needed for so long. And even better that you are continuing to work on those feelings daily! Sometimes , somethings take longer to deal with and work on for them to get better. While not fun in waiting, we definitely have to not let go of "Hope" & "Faith" that things "will" get better. Thank you so much for checking in this week. Its always good to hear from you each week and stay up to date on how things are continuing to go for you Regmo.

** Hey everyone, How has your week been?

** This is our 2nd Check-in for JULY !.... How did you Celebrate the 4th of July holiday?! Did you do anything special? Attend any events? See any fireworks?
I made burgers, but they weren't my best. No fireworks, just stomach issues. I did help my dad with cleaning his boat and made extra money to put into rent. Money just has been tight and it helped. My anixety over the budget has really messed my stomach.
I also learned that even though I am good with kids, it drained me to hold back my adult personality to hang out with my four year old sister. I have PCOS and it makes it very hard to have a kid. My biological clock is mocking me . . . calling me a failing, broken woman because I do not have kids and I am also 40. Mentually and emotionally, I do not think I can handle kids and yet my stepmom doesn't understand why I cannot visit so often. Between my depression, PTSD, and anxiety, I would mentally and emootionally wreck a kid. (I am worried about messing up my boyfriend.)
One of my brothers had a birthday this week and I tried to set up a dinner with my family, and he went over a friend's house instead. I had all of the other siblings there and he was a no show. I felt bad over the situation, but he did get to hang out with a friend whom he had not seen in over a year (due to his friend's job and his friend's g/f having stomach cancer. . . please send prayers) It was a very busy week.

** What is the ONE thing that you are Looking forward to the MOST this month and Why?!
For some medical answers and what I can do about my gout and carpal tunnel. My hands cramp, tingle, and ache when I type of write too much. I want to go for a walk or eat pork chop without my ankles feeling like they have falming glass shards in them. I also need to get my insurance to approve my pieces for my CPAP machine, because it leaks.

** What is the HEALTHIEST thing that you've done for yourself this past week?!
Soda has also been a weakness for me. I have cut regular soda out of my diet. Pepsi and Dr. Pepper Zero, have no white suagr and little after taste to me.

** FOR FUN: What is ONE thing you could do (or like to do) this Summer that you were NOT able to do "Last" summer in 2020?!
I want to get my gout to stop, my ankles better and walk more.

** What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week?
I have at least one doctor appointment each week this month. My "Family" doctor has sent me to at least four five specialist. I lost four pounds in the last six weeks, which is slow, but good. (It's hard to lose decent weight and keep it off.)
I have a very tight budget because I am missing one of my stimulus checks. . . I just keep running around in circles with communications on that.
If I eat pork or do too much, the gout in my ankles keep me down. I really want to go for long walks.
My boyfriend's ex has settle down her drama, and I pray is doing better. (I understand why she still loves him, but she needs to understand what she did to him, and work on self- loving and self-healing.)

** What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us about your Week?! WE want to hear from you!
Please pray that I can heal and get to go for long walks, I pray when I walk and I really miss that time.

@Rebekahwriter13

Hey there Rebekah, long time no see... Glad that you were able to stop by and check in this week with us!

I know how stressful finances can be. Especially when it seems like there is alot on your plate to get things done or paid for at the same time... And can cause added anxieties and stress causing various physical symptoms. But, despite that its great that you were able to help your dad out and make some extra money to help put towards things.

I understand what you mean about hanging out with kids.... mainly smaller ones. While fun in the moment, and as cute as some can be, it can be a little exhausting if its not something you are used to doing often. Because you really do have to resort to their level to keep them entertained and engaged. And behaved on top of it. I imagine how challenging it must be to feel the way you do in regards to your difficulties in being where you are in life and feeling a certain way because you aren't where you want to be in your life. But that doesn't make you a failure or broken in any way. And if you already know and feel that you aren't mentally and emotionally able to handle kids at this point, then it makes you smart for not having any at this time. You have to be able to give EVERY ounce of yourself when you have and raise kids. Its not about yourself anymore when you have a whole other human to take care of besides yourself in EVERY way~

Oh wow... sorry to hear that your brother was a NO Show for an event that you had spent effort in planning for him. Did he know about the event? Or was it supposed to be a surprise? While its great that he was able to spend a nice birthday with whom he hadn't seen in a long time, but, I hope that he didn't already know about the party and decide not to come knowing that so many family members would be there. He could've even brought the friend over as well to join in with you all perhaps? ... Either way, thats sad about the friends g/f. Hopefully things will work out and get better for her and that situation. Positive vibes her way.

Hopefully you will be able to get the answers that you are looking for regarding your medical situations. I don't know if you have tried taking a break and resting your hands from writing and typing? Maybe that could help a bit? I know its difficult when you want to do certain things and you feel like your body is working against you. Hopefully your insurance will also come together in getting your approval for what you need! Your CPAP is definitely something that they need to help you with....

That is so great for you though that you have cut out regular sodas and white sugars from your diet!! Awesome job there! Good for you! Keep up the great work!.. Sometimes when you make those small changes you will start to see such a great improvement!... Years ago when I cut out sodas and juices with all those added sugars, I was AMAZED by the changes that took place in my health and body! I couldn't believe it! If I told you how many pounds I lost just by doing that only, you'd probably fall over!... And it was a very quick change as well. Perhaps you will start to see those too. Please keep us up to date on how you are doing with that.

Hopefully, despite that you weren't able to do it in 2020, that this summer/this year, you will be on the track to getting your gout taken care of , your ankles feeling better and be able to walk more like you desire! Just cotiue to keep up the great work that you are doing for yourself with all the changes you are making.

Thats good that you actually have all those appointments coming up. Perhaps it will put you on the right track to feeling better!.. And getting to where you want to be. And awesome job on the weight loss!.. I know how challenging it can be to "keep" weight off. Sometimes that part is more challenging than getting it off. But hang in there! You are doing great.

Oh wow.. thats crazy that you are still dealing with a stimulus check battle. I can't believe you still haven't gotten one of them. Have they told you what the problem is with that or give you answers?

And its good to hear that your boyfriends Ex finally calmed down. ... Its really time for her to move on.

Many good and positive vibes your way for being able to walk again like you wish for. I know how tough that can be. I'm still healing up a bit from a prior leg injury. And those things can take time. I used to walk daily, and had to cut back for a while b/c of that. And I too like to pray when I walk. So hopefully you will be able to get back to doing that.

Thank you so much for checking in this week, and keeping us up to date on things and letting us know how things have been going for you!

@PoliteOcean Thank you for replying. How have you been? 2021 has been a huge medical year for me.

My brother knew my family was doing stuff, but he ran into a real old friend of his and they "lost" track of time. I guess.
Anyway, I have had more energy minus the regular soda. I have cut back on my cookies and candy as well. ( However when I take my water pills, I get exhausted. I take them with diet powerade,.

I have so many specialists I see this month. I found I have gout in my ankles, carpal tunnel in my wrist and I am getting braces. Today I found out that I have arthritis in my knees. I have to schedule physical therapy. They want me to get a weight surgery, but my dad did and he has had so many problems and he has a better immune system than I do. I really want to get back to my walks, it lets me clear my head and exercise. I am worried about my knees.

I'm just flustered because my guy is falling into his ex's emotion issues again. She threaten life and death issues to get attention. The truth is if she wants to simply talk then just needs to say so. I understand that they are still friends. I just wish she would stop doing it for attention. It reminds me of the boy who cried wolf.

@rrretsuko

Hey there!...Thats awesome for you that your week went great for you!

How nice that you chose to sit with your dog during the fireworks. Mine doesn't like them either.

Sounds like you are looking forward to a great time for your boyfriends birthday! Anything special or different planned for this day?

How great for you that you were able to get in more water this past week! Good for you, great job!... In the summer months its usually more easy to get that in when it tends to be so warm/hot out. Keep up the great work on that!

Hopefully you will get to travel (and see more nature) for yourself this summer. Seems like that tends to be what everyone wants to do more of this summer since many didn't get to last year. Hopefully you will get to enjoy that!

How great for you that despite challenging mental disorders, that you have been feeling alot more happier! That is a Really great highlight for the week! And that you are handling them better! I know how difficult that can be. So good for you! Keep up the great work that you are doing for yourself with that as well! What do you feel that you are doing more of to handle them better? What coping skills have you found that work for you?!

Sounds like a really great check-in for you this week! Thank you for stopping by to share with us and letting us know how you things are going for you and how you are doing for yourself! Please continue to keep us updated!

hello!! my week has been alright, i've been feeling better than i have in a while :) i didn't really do anything for july 4th, but it's okay since it's important for me to get rest. i'm looking forward to my friend josh's birthday the most this year because i'm gonna draw something for him!! the healthiest thing i've done for myself this past week is talk more with my loved ones. one thing that i can do this summer is really just decompress and remember that i'm safe and in a better place now that i couldn't do last year :) ❤️

Hey Ava! I'm so glad to hear that you've been doing well and better! It's always good to look at how we've been and realise that it's been going well! Like you've said, it is really good to prioritise our wellbeing and get some rest when we need it 💗 And that sounds so coool! I wish I was able to draw! I'm sure Josh will really appreciate that :) Talking to the people we love is also so fulfilling and heartwarming; I'm glad you've been able to do more of that recently! And you wrote that so beautifully. I am so happy that you feel safer and better now. I wish you all the best for this coming week 💜 Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us today!
