🌞 This past week went by fast~.....The weekend was nice and
relaxing, we celebrated the July 4th holiday with some good food &
good times, good treats..... We got to see Fireworks all around the
neighborhood (because of where our home is). As well my family set them
off too. I didn't stay on track well with meal-planning, But my sleep
was much better this week, and hydration went well as its been pretty
humid here.
🌴 The weather here this week has been HOT, HOT,
HOT (mixed with humidity)... Its been challenging to get out until at
least late afternoon/early evening for walks with the pup. I did manage
through this past holiday week to stay on track with my Workouts and
Activity. I kept up with my usual Aqua classes, Toning, & Workouts
in my pool..... One "New" thing I did this past week was actually get in
a "New" class on the 4th of July holiday! One of my Aquatic centers had several
classes that day despite it being the holiday, and I was finally able to
get to try the "AQUA KICK-BOXING" Class. It was SOOO Much fun! I LOVED
it! I will be working this class into my schedule. As not only was it fun,
I enjoyed the music and it kept me motivated learning all the combinations..... (When you have fun
& enjoy your workout, it never seems like work)!
@PoliteOcean
Hi, Ocean,
Hey everyone~ How has your week been? The 4th of July was bad, as kids in the apartment community set off fireworks starting about 3:30pm, and only stopped for dinner, and kept it up through about 12:30 am the next day. They set off multiple fireworks at the same time one after another and didn't stop. Then the next day they were at it again. Fireworks hit my windows twice, and pieces of fireworks were stuck to my car. I had to peel them off and all of it didn't come off without me chancing damaging the paint. These are the type of kids I don't like.
🌴What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?...... How were you able to work through your challenges?! The kids in the apartment community were awful, inconsiderate, and disrespectful, and their parents couldn't care less. All I could do was shut the windows and try not to pay attention.
@purpleTree4652
P.S. Plus, I called the police. Apparently several people called the police, but they never came.
@purpleTree4652
Hey there Tree~ So sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the July 4th holiday. ... I know how annoying that can be when people just don't know how to keep a good thing under control. (I had that happen too once with fireworks all over my vehicle from the neighbors, with no concern or apologies.) Made me livid... So I totally get how difficult that can be and make you feel.
Thats great that you were contacted about a job...and despite not being in your field, its nice that its doing something that you love and enjoy. Please let us know how things go with that!
Its great that you are resting alot and doing what you need for your own peace of mind. And taking the time that you need for yourself. Keep up the great work there!
Thank you for checking in this week, keeping us up to date, and letting us know how things are continuing to go. Please check back and let us know how things go with the job interview!
@PoliteOcean
Hi, Ocean,
Unfortunately the job interview didn't work out. The job was only 6 to 8 hours per week. They didn't say that in the ad. I withdrew my application. There was going to be a steep investment by the employer in my skills. The master seamstress was going to train me for some time. So not only a financial investment, because they would have been paying me to basically learn, but a time investment. I decided it was better if I don't take the job as opposed to quitting in a month or two when hopefully my field's department hires me...or i find a job that gives me better hours.
@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went.
I read my theology book 5 times for 15 minutes each this past week. My prayer life is non-existent because Alan and Amanda cause too much interference. Amanda didn’t feed me breakfast on Sunday. I’m finally seeing some healing on my chest wound. I hardly had any night sweats this past week. Monday, Tuesday and Friday night I had a terrible night’s sleep. It was long, dark and difficult. Last year I bought 3 ice packs and they all disappeared after I put them in Leslie’s freezer. I decided to buy another ice pack because I figure spending $7.71 isn’t too much to avoid having a heart attack. Leslie doesn’t care about sick people, she just uses sick people to make money. Thursday and Friday I had to skip my collagen peptides because there were no glasses in the kitchen. I hired a new caretaker, his name is Ashawn. His first day is supposed to be on Wednesday. He seems to have a good attitude. For this upcoming week, Monday I have an appointment with my psychiatrist. Amazon charged my credit card instead of my food stamps for grocery delivery. They require a backup payment method, but I didn’t really want them to use it. I spent 45 minutes on their web site trying to find a resolution but couldn’t. Amazon doesn’t have live customer service anymore, it’s all web-based. It looks like I’m going to have to go grocery shopping at a brick and mortar store, which I find unpleasant. For this upcoming week, I have an appointment with my psychiatrist on Monday.
@Regmo
Hey there Regmo, Thats good that you were able to get your reading in over the past week. Thats too bad that you haven't been able to keep up with your Prayer life. Is there somewhere outside that you can be or sit alone where you can do this? It doesn't have to be indoors, perhaps you can take it outside away from everyone else who bothers you or interferes? ..... Thats good for you that you are starting to see improvements with your wound, and that your night-sweats have gotten better. Hopefully for you, your sleep has improved this week so far....Wonder who on earth would take an icepack?! Thats crazy.... Hopefully for you the next one won't disappear! And why on earth are there no glasses in the house?! Goodness..... Something has got to be done about Leslie it seems. Thats great that you were able to hire a new caretaker. Please keep us updated on how things go with this one! Thats crazy that you seem to have so much trouble with Amazon. Hopefully better solutions can be found there with them. Thanks for checking in this week, sharing, and keeping us up to date on things. Again, please let us know how things go with your new caretaker and appt.
