**This past week has been decent....Stayed on track with eating, workouts/activity, Water and Sleep was "some-what" better this past week....

**At last check-in I had finished up my "cleanse" that my husband and I did together (but had not weighed-in yet when I posted)... We had both managed to lose 5lbs!... It was very exciting and motivating and encouraging as well.. And nice to also have someone to do it with too...I was happy with it, and would like to plan to do it monthly as suggested.~

**The weather was ok this past week, the temps are starting to climb a little again, had a few days with some "light" afternoon rain that didn't last long (which is something that happens this time of year in the south)... But it didn't stop me from being able to get outside and enjoy a few mornings of walking with my mom, and also being able to hit the pool as well~ With TODAY being the FIRST day of Summer, it was actually the MOST beautiful day this week!.. Nothing but sunshine and barely a cloud in the sky!.. I was able to get an early morning walk in with my mom and a swim afterwards... And managed to get my dog to the lake for his walk as well~ There were Several "Festivals" today in my neighborhood I suppose to "Kick-off" the summer, one was actually at the lake, so I sat and listened to some of the music after walking the dog.~ This is definitely my favorite season of the year, and it makes me feel wonderful~

**Saturday, they are calling for some "possible" rain again..... they are having a POUND Fitness event at the local warehouse, .. I haven't been to one in over a month since I've been doing other things.. But, my intention is to get there this week for my daily activity and then my usual Saturday errands~

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND~yes

Hey! This week has been busy, next week is worse!! I bought myself a Fitbit Charge 3 Special Edition! Two bands, the lavender one is so much more comfortable. Only had it for two days so far, but I like it :) I reached 15k steps yesterday!

Physical health I went to the gym on Thursday and Friday- did legs Thursday and cardio Friday. I hate cardio even more than I hated cardio ever before HAHAHA

Emotional health wise, booked to see a new psychologist next week! And went shopping for stationery since its EOFY Sales for us. So good, everything is super cheap!

Medical health, I saw a dentist for the first time in 2 years! I beat my fear of the dentist and went by myself. Booked it myself too. My teeth arent the best and I found out I have to get 3 wisdom teeth removed 😭 I didnt even know they were out!!!

Next week I have a meeting with my course advisor, then work, dentist, exam and my sisters birthday aka lunch or dinner out. Today was a housewarming party, its nice and fun! My aunts are all sleeping over too tonight, which Im happy with. So far its alright- had a few ups and downs this week but nothing super major. Not going to be on 7 Cups too often aha June is incredibly busy!

@rebecca947

Hey there!

Congrats on your new Fitbit, seems like you are already enjoying it... I really enjoy mine. Its so great to have them and don't believe that I would be able to stay on track any other way if I personally didn't have mine~ 15,000 steps is a good amount to strive for since the standard baseline is 10,000/day~

Good job on making it to the gym ...I'm not much for the cardio either, but it seems like I tend to do that more than anything else...But at least you got it in! Are you still seeing a personal trainer?

Good for you for being able to get in to see a "new" psychologist.... Hopefully for you it will be what you are expecting and they can help you in the way you are hoping for..... and as well as the dentist. I know alot of people who tend to have a "Fear" of the dentist, but with each on that I know, I don't understand the 'Fear' behind it? Or why they feel that way?...2 YEARS is a long time to go without seeing one, I will be quite honest. I think the most I went was about 3 years myself but I didn't have insurance at the time to cover it which was why I didn't go at the time and (I was young!) and didn't know or understand just how important it is to see the dentist on a regular basis. We didn't know the things that we know now and how good (or Bad) oral hygiene can greatly affect our health in other ways! So its good you finally went. I had my 4 Wisdom teeth pulled as well when I was 18. My mouth has felt alot better for it too since I was tended to be in pain alot more when I had them. When will you get them removed?

Sounds like you are in a very busy time period right now and coming up ahead~ I'm sure you will be able to manage it all though ;) Thanks for checking in this week

I love my FitBit! Today made 11k steps, maybe more later in the night! Went to the gym with my work friend today, did cardio and abs :) a bit of legs too. As for my PT, yes I still have her! Shes amazing. Had sessions with her last week Thursday and Friday!

As for the dentist, I think my fear came from my first dentist. He didnt speak any English, so my mum had to come in every time and listen to him. My mum isnt amazing at English, so I was basically in the dark the whole time! I had no clue what he was going to do, and he gave no warning. And everything he did hurt so much!!! Definitely was not gentle. Didnt like him at all haha about the wisdom teeth, I have no clue! I havent decided yet. Did you go in with just local anaesthesia, or with an anaesthesiologist? :o Im debating what I should do.

Another busy week but pretty much staying on track. Nice to reach the first official day of summer. This time of year always seem to go fast. We had a lot of rain this month and have not had a chance to go swimming. Looks now we will be in a dry spell, so this should allow some swim time. Getting walks in and keeping diet in check for the most part. It seems I need to burn more calories, which swimming should help. Had a luncheon with several people who all brought cake and sweets. Was able to keep on track, but would not want cake and sweets around to often. Its been over a year since I lost 15lbs and have kept the weight off at least within 2-3 pounds up and down. Staying on track is a full time effort, but worth for the results. Enjoy your weekend and summer.

Hey there Sail!

Sounds like you are holding pretty steady so thats great for you!... I do agree that this time of year does tend to go pretty fast. Hopefully you will be able to get back to swimming soon! Being able to do something "different" and switching things up can certainly be helpful.

How nice that you were able to have a luncheon, sounds fun....Even the cakes and sweets sound good lol.. BUT... I know how challenging it can be to be around those things too much! Its great that you have been able to take the pounds off that you wanted and managed to keep them off that long. Its been the same for me as well within that same few small pounds here and there....I can Certainly agree it truly is a "FULL TIME" job and responsibility trying to stay on top of it all!... But yes I too agree its worth it in the end, especially to feel "comfortable" in your own skin and clothes etc.. as well as for our over-all health~

Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you've been doing! Hope you finally get a chance to swim this week ahead!

@PoliteOcean This is a summary of all the events that have happened in the past two weeks. I got bad news about my future. They are going to tranfer me to a "Board and Care" facility, and I'm not excited about it. They are going to let me chose which board and care facility I wish to go to, but that doesn't mean it's going to be a good situation. I have a list of about 15 questions I am going to ask the person in charge. My main concern is I'm not going to have a way to keep up with my physical fitness. I've been doing physical therapy 5 times a week for the past 6 weeks and it's been very helpful. I don't think they are going to give me a ride to the gymnasium 5 times a week. I have no family in the area, and even if I did, they wouldn't be helpful. I come from a cold-hearted family. Furthermore, this past week I was discharged from physical therapy because I'm too healthy. This is bad news because I have no way of keeping up with my physical fitness. This means that my Starbucks runs are over with. I'm stuck in a building with a bunch of wheelchair people 24 hours a day. I can go for walks outside, but it's really not enough to keep up with where I need to be.

This past week, I was visited by a psychologist, psychiatric nurse, and a neuro-psychologist. The neuro-psychologist gave me over an hour of cognitive testing. I passed with flying colors. These people ask me a lot of questions, but they don't actually do anything to help me. It's just an assessment to see where I'm at.

I bought some poetry books and I try to read twice a day for 15-20 minutes each time. It's important to keep my mind active. A lot of people my age think if they have enough money to pay their bills, they don't need to put any more extra effort into their lives, and I think this is a big mistake. I don't want to be like that, so that's why I buy poetry books. I just read them, I don't write.

@Regmo

Hey there Regmo! So great to hear from you this week!... So sorry to hear about the current situation for you.... Its good that they are at least letting you choose which one you wish to go to. I'm glad to hear that you thought out some questions for yourself that you want to ask ! That will be a great start for you to get the answers that you need. I'm sorry to hear that you feel your physical fitness will fall behind and get off track, but I hope that maybe that can be one of your questions to ask and perhaps find out from them how they can help you to manage keeping on track with that! Maybe they will give you more positive answers than you think?! I'm very glad for you that you will at least still be able to get outside for walks and such so that will at least be helpful. .... I'm also glad that you were able to pass your cognitive testing!... Its great that you bought yourself some poetry books. I do love poetry myself and use to write them all the time when I was younger. I used to daydream so much that my mind allowed me to write poems often. The older I got, the less inspired I became to be able to write like I used to. But its so awesome that you are keeping your "mind" and "mental" health engaged! That will be very important for you! And I agree with you about having to put a little "extra" and some effort into our lives. We should do this to stay on top of things and continue to live well physically, mentally And emotionally (as well as financially and spiritually too)! ... I think you are really doing an excellent job for yourself even despite the current situation that is going on in your life, and I feel the more that you help yourself and try to stay on top of things and your health and wellbeing that you will continue to do well. Things have a way of working themselves out even when we don't see how. Best of luck to you on everything and please continue to check back and let us know how you are continuing to do! We are here for you!... Thanks so much for checking in this week.

@Rebekahwriter13

Hey Rebekah

Sorry to hear that you have been dealing with female pain and issues.. hopefully that will subside for you soon!

Sandwiches and sleeping sounds like a good way to spend a day sometimes.. Sandwiches sounds really good and it sounds like you needed the sleep as well.

While summer is my favorite season, Fall used to be my favorite due to the cooling weather, leaves changing and being able to wear sweaters and boots. I still like fall as well for all of these reason as well as my birthday is in the fall... Its certainly my 2nd favorite season of the year!

Its awesome that you found a therapist willing to meet with you!.. Please keep us informed on how all of that goes for you. Hopefully they will be able to help.

What do you plan to cook this weekend?!... Good luck with the writing. And thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you've been! Always nice to hear from you!

I went for a long walk to the beach on Friday to commemorate the first day of summer. I listened to music while I was walking and really enjoyed it. I took my book with me and read for a bit at the beach, it was colder than it looked though so I didn't stay for long. There were some eagles there and I watched them a little bit. I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to this summer. I'm back home from my first year of university and I feel very lonely to be honest. I miss my friends and I miss living in a city where there is always something to do or see. The summer months usually make me feel happy because I enjoy the sunny, warm days but it can also be difficult because I typically see much less of my friends because we're all working and have our own schedules because of that.

One healthy thing I did for myself this week was starting to drink more water. I got a huge 40 oz bottle and I try to drink the whole thing every day.

I think one of my highlights from this week was getting a new phone. I was running out of space on my old one and I'd had it for almost 3 years. I don't like upgrading phones/electronics very often because it can be so wasteful, but I'm going to use my old phone for playing music at work. I like having the new phone because it's like a fresh slate to decide what kind of apps/content I really want to have on my phone, I think it will be nice to put only what I really want onto it, like music and photos, and use stuff like social media less often.

Another highlight was getting to see two of my friends. One of my friends came to visit me one day after work and it was really nice to see them. I went out with my other friend for dinner and mini golf. We both really liked mini-golfing. It was so fun to just goof off together.

These photos are a bit old, but I'm slow on getting them onto my computer and then moving them somewhere that I can use to actually post here. Will gave a faster look at my garden - I ate a few peas the other day!
