🌷This past week was a little calmer than last week....The family member who was in an accident is well and recuperating and now home from the Hospital......This week I managed to stay on track with everything, including All Meal-planning, Hydration, Workouts and Sleep. I took a different route in regards to meal-planning, and so far its gone well. Its the route I know that will keep me on track in the best manner.
☀️ This week we had some really great weather... I was able to get back outdoors for walks. Although my knees had other things in mind...... I continued on track with Indoor group Fitness classes. I've never been a "morning person" in all my life, but I do realize that once I'm up and moving around whether taking a class or teaching a class, that my body will adjust. And there's something to be said for being able to accomplish "morning" activity "First" thing (before your brain cells & body have any idea whats really going on)! lol.... But theres nothing like being able to accomplish the things you need to first thing whatever it is, and then being able to move forward with your day.
🌺 This past week I was finally able to get all the Spring/Summer changes completed....Spring-cleaning completed, & decor up and changed out completely. It makes such a difference in the impact of "Mood boosting". Seeing the different colors, & the brightness. In knowing that things are clean and clutter gone. It really does help in "De-cluttering" the mind and thought processes. It's supposed to be a beautiful, mild weekend ahead and intentions are to just enjoy it.
@PoliteOcean
🌷 How have you been this week?
I have been okay, other than what I'm thinking and believing.
🍀What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?...... How were you able to work through your challenges?!
Struggles were the usual ongoing things - systemic abandonment and neglect, multiple grief and loss, poor coping methods such as unconscious eating. Worked through it by trying to face my feelings instead of stuffing them down or avoiding them and trying to speak to myself kindly.
🌺 What would "YOU" Like to talk about, add or share with us this week?! ....WE want to hear from YOU!~
Whatever it is we want in the world must first be found within the self. This is why I eat cookies.
@Dallady
Hey there Dalla~ Despite the thoughts and beliefs of the past week, its good that you are still doing well and that you've been okay. And its really awesome that you are continuing to work on yourself and being kinder to yourself. I like where you say "not expecting others to be"......since as we know there's no way to control others or their feelings towards us. That in itself makes it even more important to be kinder to ourselves, love ourselves more, find that self-acceptance. You are doing a great job. Continue to keep up that great work there.
You know... I like the simple answers behind the "importance" of just being able to do the most simple things (yet the things that are obviously so important to our overall wellbeing)!... "the Oral Hygiene, dishes, laundry, eating well, movement" etc.... Sometimes these littlest of things can take so much of us when our wellbeing isn't at its best. Being able to accomplish all or even just one of these things a day or at a time, is definitely an accomplishment. Something to help in recharging, and re-motiving oneself to continue to take another step forward. So awesome job to you on whichever one of these things or steps you can take in refreshing yourself!
Nice answer on Alexa!... Good for you for wanting the chance and opportunity to do what you can for yourself when you can and are able.... (Personally I wouldn't mind having her cook a meal or workout for me every now and then) :p
Remember that we are here for you. And thank you for taking the time to check-in and share with us this week. And for continuing to let us know how you are doing and feeling.
@PoliteOcean
Hi, Ocean,
How have you been this week? Bad, but I know I am doing the right thing and handling things correctly.
🍀What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?...... How were you able to work through your challenges?! my car, my move, my last paycheck, probably more, but i can't think of what else right now
🌺 What would "YOU" Like to talk about, add or share with us this week?! ....WE want to hear from YOU!~
@purpleTree4652
Hey there Tree~
Despite not feeling the best this week, I think its great that you 'know' that you are in fact doing the right things and handling things correctly for yourself. Stay on that path, and it sounds like whatever is going on will continue to fall in place and come together.
Its good that things are moving and coming along for you, and that you were able to get things finalized with your movers.
I wasn't aware that Carmax actually did the repairs on their cars too. I thought they just sold them or worked on cars that they were planning to sell. I know I used to always hear good things about them as a company, although recently not so much. Hopefully you will have the time you need to come to the pros/cons of it all and make a decision that will best benefit you. But surely, getting the advice of a lawyer could certainly help even better!
I think its pretty awesome and amazing that (not only are you seeking the Lords help and guidance Kuddos there!), but also that you are finding your motivation in yourself! And handling work matters, and facing things that may otherwise be hard to do, and in thinking constructively. LOTS of Amazing work that you are doing here. I can only say here to continue doing what you are doing and keep it up! Stick with what is working for you, and build on it when able or if needed.
Thank you for sharing with us this week, and for keeping us in the loop on how things are continuing to go. Please continue to keep us updated on everything, and how you are doing and with the move.
@PoliteOcean
The only thing I’m looking forward to in the next week is my birthday...
@UberRuminator
Hey there Uber~ How lovely you will be celebrating a Birthday in the coming week.
Do you have any special plans for that day?!
@PoliteOcean
It’s on Tuesday, so I will just be working and then coming home as usual.
@PoliteOcean Here’s how the past week went. Sunday I prayed for Russia. I tried to be faithful in prayer this week, but I didn’t have any money to buy any new theology books. I continued to read my art history book. Monday I picked up my laptop from the repair shop. It cost $230 to fix it. I went to Kohl’s and returned my poetry book at the Amazon counter. I went to the bank and cleared up the issue with the password for my online account. It’s a huge burden off my shoulders. Tuesday I started to use my medication for my rosacea. One of my biggest problems is there is no place to go on the internet for live chat prayer. Wednesday I went to the local library to get a print out of my 7 day prayer calendar. I was able to print it out, but it was an ordeal. The network was really slow. It was such an ordeal I had to skip my walk. Unfortunately, the formatting is off. One of my favorite news networks got back on the air after being canceled for political reasons. I’m extremely happy about it. Thursday I went to the library to take notes on my poetical interpretation book and also went grocery shopping. The fact that Amazon has raised it’s delivery fees for online grocery delivery is still a problem for me. Alan is a moron because he doesn’t give me a knife when he serves me breakfast. He is also a pig because he urinates with the bathroom door open. He is also stupid because he still smokes after having heart surgery. Dennis hasn’t come out of his bedroom for the past 3 weeks. Leslie still likes keeping dead flowers on the dining room table. I continue to read poetry before I go to bed every night.
@Regmo
God bless you, Reg.
@purpleTree4652 Thank you purpleTree - that was very kind of you.
@Regmo
Hey Regmo~ Thats lovely of you to pray for others in need. Good for you for continuing on track with your studies. Thats great that you were able to get your laptop fixed and back in your possession as well as getting the issue with your password cleared up, and being able to get your prayer calendar printed for the week (despite having to miss your walk). Hopefully for you it won't be such a hassle the next time..... Keep us updated on how the new Medication is working for you and if its helping to take care of your issue. As far as Amazon raising their delivery fees, looks like thats going to be an issue in just about anything we do, or anywhere we go these days. Seems like Since the pandemic thats the world we now live in and the price of nearly everything has risen. Good job at continuing to stay on track with your poetry each night. Sounds like you had quite the busy week. Thank you for stopping by to share it with everyone and for continuing to keep us up to date on how things are going.
Hiii,
I’m grace and I just joined the community🙌🏼😊💛
I would love to write some lil journal stories on this page to inspire and share some of my thoughts :))
@PoliteOcean
🌷 How have you been this week?
I think I've already commented on this week but a pretty important update...
🍀What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?...... How were you able to work through your challenges?!
Highlights: kindness of strangers, moments of grace, coffee and cookies.
Struggles: becoming more homeless than I already was, forgetting to bring my blanket and other important items with me, coffee and cookies.
Was able to work through my challenges by my practices: pausing before speaking, minding my manners and being in good humour even though life has crumbled around me like a cookie dropped and left too long in coffee.
🌺 What would "YOU" Like to talk about, add or share with us this week?! ....WE want to hear from YOU!~
The tough times in life somehow seem to have the drunken flavour of being unexpected and harder than we could EVER possibly be prepared for. Yet we remain unbeaten as is our birthright and blood and bone (teehee, 'bone'.). And in this holy trinity of cause and course we can find ourselves forever changed in ways we never have known.
@Dallady
Hey there Dalla, yes i had to do a "double-take" as I saw your post.. As I knew I hadn't posted the New one for the April yet (although was wondering if I did perhaps in my sleep)? :p
Wow thats crazy to hear about the whole motel incident. Gracious!...Hopefully nobody was too hurt in the process. I suppose you are correct as it was a good thing for you!
Also thank you for leaving and sharing some words of wisdom with everyone.... and for checking back in and sharing (as well as updating) us on your week. I do hope that things are coming back together little by little. We are here to support you. Please continue to keep us updated on everything and how things continue to go for you.
