** I honestly thought that this past month would start to slow down some, but, it really hasn't since we're now heading into the holiday season. I thought I could take on more chats this past month, but that didn't happen either.. And I've been picking up more classes and subbing a little more... This past week has gone well for the most part. Kept on track with most things (Sleep was mediocre) but not too bad....I've been on Weight Watchers for a while now, its the one things that tends to "Keep me on track" with my eating and healthy habits. So its just become a staple in my journey.... Its a good way to have all the things that I enjoy while also knowing where, when and how to limit myself when needed. Its just a plan that makes sense to me while enjoying and eating "real" food.~ On MONDAY , they rolled out a "NEW" Plan. Which they happen to change every two years or so.....So I started off my week prepared,... but then TUESDAY, I had a "Ladies Night Out" event that I attended. The event was catered with "Finger foods" and such. I was on track the entire day, until getting to the event. There "Wasn't" an "Abundance" of food, but what was there were all things I enjoy. (Mini Finger sandwiches, some small light deserts etc.... and of course a fruit platter. For some reason, I hadn't been hungry much leading up to the event that day, so by the time I got there, I was hungry when I saw the food. (And skipped the Fruit tray)... I did allow myself to enjoy the spread, however, I did keep it to a minimum. I'm just thankful and grateful that W.W. allowed me the points that I needed to enjoy and that I had a ZUMBA class to attend following the event!.... I feel I kept it in moderation. But part of me felt guilty about it too since it really wasn't in my "Plan" that day. I really intended to just simply enjoy the event without eating there.

**Other than Tuesday, I was perfectly on point with things, ... although by Thursday, I started to feel kind of "Run-down" again over-all. I decided that I just needed to rest and recharge myself... So I did absolutely NOTHING on Thursday.... I pretty much napped that day, and didn't have much of an appetite. By Friday morning I felt better. And continued on with my day and my usual errands.

**Today/Saturday, (since its been really cold, I haven't really seen or walked with my mom the past week).. so this morning we intend to meet up since the weather will be milder again. And plan to get our morning walk in. Then some errands & whereever the day takes me from there~ I know there will be a few "Christmas/Holiday Festivals" in my area. So will see~

ENJOY THE WEEKEND~yes

@PoliteOcean

Its really great that you were able to stay moderate during this event! I get that another part of you feels guilty as this wasnt planned, but if we try and see it from another view, its really a success: you were able to stay moderate without having to restrict yourself by not allowing yourself to eat as you first intended to do! It seems to show that moderation is not just a rule that you set but an habit you have gained!

Its also great that you were able to just rest when you felt like you needed to recharge, days like this are important!

Enjoy your weekend x

Heya !

The past week has been pretty tiring again so Im glad that its finally the weekend! At work Ive finally been given experiments to do on my own/with low supervision. I managed to do pretty good, the experiment didnt work but it wasnt due to me so I saw that Ive gained in autonomy and abilities.

Ive been able to stick to a workout routine that is challenging yet doable, which is great and has been helping me a lot! However Ive not been doing great at all food and hydration wise. I will need to focus on getting all my meals this weekend, so hopefully I can get off on the right foot next week. As for water, I guess I need to fit in more breaks during work days so I can make sure to stay hydrated.

My weekend plans are very likely going to be chilling and being lazy, with fitting some workout sesh in. Ill try to take time cooking so as to have healthy and yummy things available to eat.

Have a good weekend!

Hey there Waves!

Sorry to hear that your week was tiring..but how cool for you that you were trusted and given the responsibility to work on your own for a bit.

How completely awesome for you that you've been able to find a routine thats both challenged you and is also working out for you too. Despite that you were off track with other things, that will come in time and all fall together. Its just really good that you were able to get a routine going for yourself and are able to work out a plan for yourself moving forward on the other things! Great job!

I hope that you enjoyed your weekend to the fullest! Thank you so much for checking in and letting us know how things have been going for you!

@PoliteOcean

Hey there everyone~ How have you been doing over the past week? Good!! Busy still but i hope work slows down. I am taking thanksgiivng and chrimast off.

**We are "Mid-way" through the month of November already!... How has this month been going for you so far? What goals have you accomplished for yourself? What do you still have yet to work on before this month ends? I know its crazy!!! I have acomplished with being okay with gaining weight. I have acomplished organzing my life better. I still have to work on the late night eating and the alchol. This girl loves her tequilla and IPA!!! I dont want to be back at 225lbs or more after the holidays. My gf has been working on her body and the results are looking amazing!! So happy and proud of her..she is trying to get to come workout with her more. Im getting there, but I have found that working out does not do enough for me...idk why, maybe just the way my fat cells are or the lipodemia, etc. it works on my upper body bettter than my lower. Any thoughts on that?

**This month is focused on a time of "giving" and being "Thankful and Grateful", what things are you most Thankful and Grateful for this week? This month? Always my friends and my girlfriend...i honestly do not know what i would do without her. Also for the job I do and the beautiful face I see in the mirror when I wake up in the morning.

***What are your weekend Plans? Looking for a Christmas Tree and also preping for thanksigiving....and that day in my house we eat ALOT!!! Its such good food and im pretty lazy the next day. I will def end up ganing like 20 or more lbs from that and my metabolism really slows down around this time. But hey lol its worth it...

@Zulegirl

Hey there!

Sounds like you are doing really well at accomplishing alot for yourself recently. Great job!

I'm doing the same and trying my best to "maintain" where I'm at through the holidays if nothing more.. I just don't want to go backwards either. I know what you mean by it being more challenging to "lose" (or even transform) the "bottom half".. I have that same similar issue. Everyone can also tell when I lose weight because it always starts at the "top" ?!... Its crazy~

Its so nice that you have your GF and job to both be thankful for.

How nice that you are going to look for a tree.. I was just hoping that mine still held out this year, so far so good, the lights still work lol... Wasn't looking forward to having to replace it.~ Do you real or artificial? White lights or colorful?

Thanks for checking in this past week and letting us know how things have been going in your world~

Yeah its a struggle!! But on the other hand me and Amelia will have the best bootys for Christmas lol. Oh me and Amelia and this new girl Kali , who is my new neighbor. She is very curvy as well, blonde, think shes from Lousiana) she joined us and we got to rock in a real studio and use vocal booths. No we are not signed yet but got to make a small CD of a few cover songs mostly rock and roll. Was incredible experience and so cool at the end to hear how we sounded from behind the glass!! It does not even sound real coming out of the speakers. It made Amelia incredible happy because she has been working so hard at that place and her boss really respects her work ethic. So he let her use one of the studios. Kali plays almost everything except drums! She is super sweet and has a soaring voice.

We also changed the name from Runaway to Dark Angels. DA also sounds cooler.

@PoliteOcean This past week went pretty well. Monday I went to the chiropractor, Wednesday I got a massage, and Friday I took myself out for a hamburger again. I'm trying to do that every Friday. I can't leave the house unless someone takes me. My new caretaker Veronica and I get along very well. She and her husband have a room that's available to rent, and we talked about maybe me moving in with them at the beginning of the year. My sister Kathryn is upset about it because I don't know what I'm getting into. She might have a point, but I do know I can't get cured of my injuries living in my current location. My financial condition is improving. I hope I can keep it that way.

Hey there! Sounds like things have been going so much better for you recently and going really well for you! Sounds like you've been busy with keeping up with your appointments and also treating yourself. Thats so nice that you are taking a day for yourself each week to do that. You deserve it!..... So glad that things are working out with you and your new caretaker!.. Thats nice of them to offer you a room. Perhaps taking the next month and a half to "weight" ALL of your pros and cons about going there to stay with them can help you decide and make a more informed choice. Its always good to be careful in these situations. I'm glad that your finances are improving for you. Sounds like things have been coming together for you little by little. Thats really great! Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things have been going for you!.

@PoliteOcean thanks for the prompts to do some reflection. It's been really helpful having a space just to stop and think about life in a mindful way.

**This past week I've been doing okay; having moments where I spiral mentally but I've mostly been able to find awareness and bring myself out of it which is always huge for me. Doing 7cups breathing and meditation exercises has helped me ease back into meditation.

**November has been progressive. I've been switching my mindset to things I can actively work on and away from ruminating thoughts (though they still come). Some goals I've accomplished are finding a way to take yoga classes (hooray for landing a karma yogi position) and going to a toastmasters meeting. Something I still want to work on this month is getting back in touch with friends. I have been a recluse and mostly focusing on myself which means neglecting a lot of relationships. I hope the end of this month brings about the inner strength to reconnect with people.

**I am Thankful and Grateful for: *My dog *having a place to live while I work on myself *Long distance friends *time in nature *Improved bodily health *freedom to express myself

**Highlights: starting cleaning at the yoga studio for comped classes! *Went to a Toastmasters meeting- not sure if i'll join but it was interesting to finally go to a meeting. It would be a good step towards working on communicating effectively and finding my voice but I'm still nervous. *Found out one of my old adventure buddies moved to a town only an hour from me so I am looking forward to catching up with her. *finding a lot of joy in bike riding lately; I'm excited to check out some new trails. Struggles: Really struggling to get out of negative rumination at times; holding on to a lot of guilt from the past that I let creep up all too often and taint the present moment. Did a lot of self-sabotaging; not responding to emails, putting off simple tasks that cause grief later.

**Over the weekend I went on a bike ride with my dad. I still have a lot of anxiety around him but he seems like he's working on communicating more effectively which is helping. The trail itself was nice and flat with lots of crunchy leaves to ride through which was fun. I had dinner with my mom and sister one night which is another trigger for me but it went okay. And okay is enough :) Also enjoyed a nature walk by a lake about 30 minutes from where I live.

**I'm still sticking to these new eating habits and taking the same supplements. My migraines seem to be stoppable now with a few low-dose aspirin and one excederine migraine. This is huge for me as my migraines have lasted for days in the past. Yesterday would have been one of my "scheduled" (linked with my menstural cycle) migraines; I felt unreasonably exhausted after a bike ride and then had massive hunger cravings: both signs of the "prodrome" phase of my migraines. I took aspirin and excederine and it prevented the head pain: HALLELUJAH!! I've noticed when I eat more sweets (I've had lots of specialty creamer in my *decaf* coffee and dark chocolate lately) that my stomach issues flare up again so I think that's something I'm really going to have to be cognizant of.

Hey there!.. so glad to hear and see that you find this space helpful and beneficial for you! We really appreciate you taking the time to come here, share, vent and keep us up to date on how things are going in your journey!

Its great that despite having some "moments" that you were able to work through them and that 7cups was able to help you with that as well!.... Its great that you are continuing to work on things in your life little by little to help yourself improve. And its nice that you are looking forward to finding the inner strength to help you reconnect with others and regain relationships for yourself. We all need that "connection" that they bring.

And it certainly sounds like you have ALOT to be thankful and grateful for!......And Sounds like you have had alot of great hightlights over the week too... and its good that you are recognizing the struggles and that you know what still needs to be worked on.

It also sounds like you had some really positive experiences with your family! (Even if some awkward moments)... its great that you are keeping those lines of communication with them open and keeping those ties together with them.

Its great for you that you are still working on your healthy living journey and finding what is working for you. Its great that these things and changes are positive ones!.. Continue to keep up the great work that you are doing for yourself. It sounds like things are coming along really nicely for you day by day...

Thank you so much for checking in and letting us know how things are going for you!

I know the week is almost over, but here goes:

**Hey there everyone~ How have you been doing over the past week? Some ups and some downs

**We are "Mid-way" through the month of November already!... How has this month been going for you so far? What goals have you accomplished for yourself? What do you still have yet to work on before this month ends? This month has been stressful, and I have been having some trouble coping. But I have been taking more walks and trying to stay positive. I need to work on my support structure, for when I am overwhelmed and feel like I can't handle my responsibilities. I help take care of my sister's children, and with kids you dont just get a day off. You HAVE to find a way to keep on going.

**This month is focused on a time of "giving" and being "Thankful and Grateful", what things are you most Thankful and Grateful for this week? This month? I am grateful for my family, and for my progress so far

**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week? Hilights: walking more Struggles: coping with anxiety and jumbled thoughts

**What are your weekend Plans? Dont have plans

**What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us?! WE want to hear from "YOU"~ Coping with the symptoms of anxiety- like agitation, being overwhelmed, how to work through it
