**AND ANY & ALL "NEWBIES" THAT WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US
🍁This past week has just 'Flown' by!.. I can't believe its the weekend again already. (Not that I'm complaining)....And also a completely New month~.... I kept up with pretty much everything. I got in my water, kept up with workouts & activity, and other than one day out of seven, my sleep went really well and was nicely on track for the week. Coming off Halloween we don't get many trick-or-treaters here around us anymore, as most of the kids have grown up. So that was a typical day and week for us.
🌻 The weather continues to be very nice & mild here this time of year. ..... I was on break from my AQUA sessions for the past week, and continued on with other activity.... but as of (yesterday) Friday, I started the first day of a New session. And I am totally Sore from it at the moment. But I also will now be going from 2-day sessions a week, to 3-day sessions weekly. And transition from evening sessions to morning sessions. Being a "night-owl" this is totally going to be a change for me & my sleep needs. I will have to spend some time working on a New Sleep schedule this coming week ahead to accommodate those mornings again..... Before my break from instructing at the beginning of the year, My schedule was a "Hybrid" of teaching both mornings & afternoon classes. But this will all be mornings. I'm truly looking forwards to them, but NOT the "getting up so early part"!
🍂 No major plans here this weekend. We have spent most of Summer and early Fall traveling and attending many festivals and functions. Last weekend consisted of a few "Lazy-days", and I predict that this weekend here will be much of the same since the weather is calling for some rain for the first time in a while. So will probably do a home-workout, and then focus on some things around the house get those accomplished.
@PoliteOcean
Sounds like a great start to November.
Maybe you could do something special for yourself in the morning or treat yourself at the end of the week somehow for being such a fabulous early bird?
@PoliteOcean
🍁 I've been pretty random this week.
🌾Flooded my frikkin bathroom being spaced out due to griefs and losses.
Then got yelled at by one of my managers for being a noisy night owl which just about made me blow my top.
I've been ear harassed by my upstairs neighbor daily since I moved in five months ago.
They refuse to change as they believe they're being 'reasonable' and the managers want to do squat about it.
I had to spend money on noise cancelling headphones and am hurting my ears wearing earplugs all the time and am losing my mind now they're mad at me for being awake at night?
I don't think so...so I said they can talk to me when they're ready to be friendly about it and walked away when they tried to steamroll me.
But the amount of support I've been receiving from the community after being brave enough to reach out after worrying myself half to death and freaking out after the flood has been humbling and amazing.
How stupid am I that I don't just ask for help or trust life.
I have an industrial fan blowing on the wet carpet thanks to a local female business owner, a batch of towels dropped off by a kind gentleman after I had to throw all mine away, a care hamper of food and other goodies from the Salvation Army and more.
I have contacted a local grief society, and am messaging with someone local who has a degree in mental health.
I do feel lonely quite often which seems ridiculous, as I'm independent and enjoy it.
Have just joined a new Friday Night Eats club that gets together to eat out once a week or whatever though.
And had a surprise cheque deposited so that took a huge weight off my shoulders as I've been too random to complete paperwork for a housing supplement and old backdated CRA cheque and don't get enough on a disability income.
🍂 I suppose I just want to share that life somehow simultaneously sucks and is amazing at the same time.
@Dallady
Hey there!... How awesome that you are feeling "thankful and grateful" for (Yourself)! Its great to appreciate ourselves, count and rely on ourselves!
I'm a "night-owl" too, so I can sympathize with you and your feelings regarding your manager. Hopefully they won't do it again! And that you can come to some resolution with them as well as your neighbor. I'm sure its a challenging situation. Especially when it can be hard to talk to someone and get things worked out. Hopefully you can find a better "medium" and work through it together somehow. .......But I think its wonderful that through it all, that you have found some support through the community. Sounds like you've gotten alot of help and alot of Helpful supplies to see you through.
Thats good to hear that you have contacted someone in regards to the grief you are experiencing. And that you are in the process of working through things more with hopefully those that can help.
And how cool that you have found and joined such a club to go out and meet up and eat. Sounds like a good time. We have something like that here, but I've never looked into it and took advantage of it more.
I think its so wonderful that you are continuing to work through things and trying to be kind to yourself. And yes, that can be true, that life can be so crazy at times, but then at the same time we can also see all the blessing that we have in it too.
Thanks so much for checking in and sharing your week with us. Please continue to keep us up to date on how things are continuing to go for you.
Thanks for taking the time and patience for a reply.
The Food Club is very new. There hasn't even been one yet.
There was like 30+ people interested in the idea so a *** page was made.
I'm not sure if I'll be brave enough to eat with strangers but it's a goal.
And a goal isn't a sure thing but something to shoot for as they say.

@PoliteOcean
Hi, Ocean,
1. How have you been this week? Very tired and started experiencing absence seizures again. Tense because I'm looking for a job. Surprised because of the response I am getting to my resume.
4. 🌾What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" this week?... How were you able to work through your challenges?! I struggled with how much I slept and getting out of bed. On one or two days, I just told myself that I had to get up and did so.
@purpleTree4652
Hey there... So sorry to hear that you have been tired this week and experiencing seizures. I'm sure that has been challenging for you as well as job searching. But how nice that you got a response to your resume. Hopefully thats a good thing for you!
Pets are so amazing. And surely its something to feel thankful and grateful for when we have them. As well as having a place to call our own. And safety is ALWAYS a great thing too! We are glad you are safe!
Sounds like your first week of the new month has gone pretty well for you, and you are making some great goals. Thank you for sharing those and your week with us! Please continue to keep us up to date on how things are going for you!
@PoliteOcean
Yes, the response I am getting from my resume is awesome! I am actually in the position where I am turning down some interviews for interviews that I am more interested in. This coming week, I have 3 interviews. Plus I have normal life tasks and chores, and have an appointment to take my car to the garage for service. I didn't want to overwhelm myself because I get overwhelmed easily. So, I chose which of the interview requests were better for me and kept these 3.
The exercises I do are just calisthenics with ankle weights. I want to incorporate yoga and dancing. I used to take dance classes and the exercise value was great.
I am painting gold stars on my bedroom ceiling. I'm using stencils that I bought cheap. Here is a pic of one area of the ceiling.
Thanks for asking.
XO, tree
@purpleTree4652
Wow.. sounds very positive to be getting so many interviews! But I do know how overwhelming that can be also to have to choose between them. Just take your time, breathe through it all and make the best choices that you can for yourself. It will all come together!
That is so awesome that you like dance too! I'm a Zumba Instructor, so dancing is a passion of mine. What type of "Dance" are you interested in the most?
I LOVE the Gold stars! How nice and Fun!.. Its nice to make little changes like that for ourselves that can help keep us uplifted and in a positive mood. Have fun with the "new look"! And thank you for sharing the photo with us!!
@PoliteOcean
I just love to get out on the dance floor and make some shapes. LOL
The type of dance I've studied for years is belly dance. It's great exercise.
@PoliteOcean Here’s how the past week went. I was consistent with my devotional time. I studied art history 6 times this week. I finished reading my old poetry book and my new poetry book arrived. It’s really hard to find hardcover poetry books. I really want to avoid owning a large number of small paperback books. I went to the library twice to do research. I went for a walk 3 times. Monday I was distressed about my hair loss. Wednesday was my birthday. There were a lot of well wishes posted in the forum. Tunde gave me a bag of candy. Thursday morning I had two women try to scam me on social media. They get so upset when I won’t send them any money. Thursday I was upset because I couldn’t hear the stock market news because of the noise here. I have a problem concentrating even when it’s quiet because I never know when I’m going to be disrupted. I have a large blue patch of skin on my right thigh and leg. It might be something called Ichthyosis vulgaris. If so, that would be really upsetting because it is incurable. It also means I’m permanently disqualified from getting married. I have an appointment with a dermatologist on Wednesday Dec 7th.
@Regmo
Hey there Regmo~... Thats good that you were able to remain consistent with your Devotions, Art history studies, and your poetry. How nice that your new poetry book arrived for you. Thats great for you that you were able to get out to the library and also get your multiple walks in this week! Good for you, keep up the great work with those.... Have you looked into any hair remedies that could help? Like Rogaine, or others? Perhaps they could help if its distressing for you. How nice for you that you were able to celebrate your Birthday with well-wishes and a gift from Tunde. I didn't see the any of the Forum posts this week. But, I'm still trying to navigate the new structure of it all. How nice that things also seem to be continuing to work out with Tunde. Sounds like he's doing a good job for you./ Wow, I can't believe that you are dealing with scam issues like that. In this day and age, I think its so crazy that random people would think they can just get anyone to send them money online. But, I'm sure there are some out there that fall into those traps. Good thing you caught on to them. As far as the Ichthyosis, hopefully for you, your appt to be seen to get an actual diagnosis from a provider will shed more light on things... Also it seems if the condition was inherited then yes it could be incurable, however if it was caused by something else (like a medication or such) then theres a better chance that it can actually be treated. But it doesn't have to mean that marriage is off the table, or a disqualification. What makes you think that? Hopefully you will let us know more once you know more after your app't. Thanks for checking in this week and sharing, and keeping us up to date on everything. Please let us know how the app't goes.
🍁 How have you been this week? - Energetically I felt a bit off for the first half of the week, however I noticed a full moon approaching which usually affects my emotions and energy! I made sure to take more time than I usually would to myself to release all pent up stress and reflect on what lessons/wisdom they bring.
🌾What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" this week?... How were you able to work through your challenges?! - I've learned that most of my anxiety comes from me feeling I need to be in a rush doing something at all times. It's safe to take a step back and focus on myself. Almost like checking in with myself to make sure I'm well enough to stay consistent in my goals.
🍂 What would "YOU" Like to talk about, add or share with us this week?! ....WE want to hear from YOU! - I send peace, health and inner harmony to all who checked in, as well as all who have read this 💙
@SirenOfSerenity
Hey there Siren~ Thats funny that you mentioned the Full Moon, as I noticed my energy has been off a bit too. So it does make a little more sense as I didn't realize we were in the Full moon stage. That is awesome that you have taken more time for yourself to help with those feelings and emotions. As well "reflection" on it all. It surely does help!
How lovely that you are feeling grateful for 7cups. And finding the benefits here. I honestly felt the same way after I first found it. It really helped so much. And I think its wonderful for you that others have noticed the improvements in you too and that its also inspiring them as well! How amazing for you! Keep up the great work that you are doing and have achieved!
The goals that you are setting for yourself are truly awesome. It can be tough for some to be their own "biggest fan" and supporter..... But if anyone should be, it should be ourselves, right?!!... And with that positive attitude, I have No doubt that you will achieve all those goals and everything you are setting out to accomplish! (And how cool on the Herbal medicine)... That is something that I have looked into and turned to more over the past several years. Again, keep up the amazing work.
