**This past week was actually really a stressful one... in many various ways. Staying on track with activity was the highlight. Everything else was 50/50. And getting enough sleep wasn't the best either.

**The weather has been REALLY nice... and I am actually really looking forward to the month ahead in the fact that this is MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! So that is something that I am excited for and the fact that HALLOWEEN is this month. I look forward to sweatshirts, and mild sunny days and evenings, Halloween movies, and EVERYTHING Pumpkin!

**Today was a MUCH needed "Rest Day". I decided to sleep in today and rest up on everything! My mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. Because after this week, I really needed it. I did get up late today, and eventually got out to the local track for an hour-long walk to clear my head. And then took my dog for his 20minute walk. Its such a GORGEOUS DAY here!.. I then went to get my Nutritious SHAKE/TEA combo of Salted Caramel and Tropical Blast. It was the "Healthy piece of Comfort" in my day today and make me feel really great. I am now relaxing the rest of this day and evening. And mentally preparing for a MUCH better coming week ahead. But for now, prolonging and preserving this weekend time as much as I can.

ENJOY THE WEEKEND~

@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday I skipped my psychology appointment because I was feeling under the weather. Tuesday my caretaker took me grocery shopping. I had to stand in line because of the rona, but I was able to survive without any permanent emotional scars. It was really hot Thursday and Friday so I wasn't in the mood to go out. My caretaker doesn't have A/C in her car. Saturday I filled out government forms to renew my benefits and it went smoothly. For this upcoming week I have a psychology appointment on Monday, and then I want to go for a walk, go to the grocery store, and get a blood test. I want to get my hemoglobin tested every 3 months to make sure it's in good order. I'm going to get two new creepy room mates this next week, and I'm not looking forward to it. I started a new course on the banking system. Money is a social contract. I studied the history of money, the gold standard, and how money is created. The good news is I have an appointment with my homeopath on Friday Oct 9th, which I wasn't expecting to see them until the 30th. The fact that I got squeezed in when they have such a tight schedule is fantastic.

Hey Regmo!.. Despite that you were feeling under the weather, its good that you now have another appointment this week to follow up with. Its good to hear that your caregiver was able to get you out and about to get some groceries and that you were able to get all your forms and paperwork filled out and completed. Sounds like you have another busy week ahead all planned out for yourself. Thats really good to have goals to meet each day and a "purpose" to look forward to (such as being able to get that walk in and to the grocery store again)! Its also good that you continue to want to stay on top of your health and lab work. Wow, I'm surprised to hear that you are going to get not only one but "Two" new roomates at the same time?! Thats a lot to get used to so quickly?! Have you met them already? I'm assuming that you must have since you said they were "creepy". Sorry to hear that. I'm sure that it must be really challenging to know that you have to share your space with somebody that you aren't wanting to. I'm a pretty private person when it comes to my personal space, so I know for a fact that I would probably feel the same way. How cool that you are now studying up on money and the banking system. It surely is universal. So thats a good choice. And how awesome for you that you were able to get squeezed in for an appointment that you've been waiting for. Its so nice to not have to wait longer than you have to. Sounds like for the most part things are still going pretty well for you. Please continue to keep us updated on the "Roomate" situation and how thats all going for you or working out!... Thanks so much for continuing to check in and letting us know how you are doing and how things are continuing to go for you.

@PoliteOcean

I have been waking up early consistently. If I am up late, my eyes tell me to sleep. So, the sleep routine is going really well.

Besides, I go for a jog on the days I feel like. On other days I am doing some yoga to stay flexible.

Have been doing less ab workouts but they still are visible, so that's a win.

Have been oiling my hair before I shampoo. That's making it look shiny.

And I am just 1kg away from my ideal weight. :)

Good job on the sleep, workouts, and the "abs & hair". And the weightloss goal sounds like the "icing on the cake"! Not too long or far away from reaching it. Sounds like all is going well for you yes.

I am hoping to get accepted into medical school this month, as the first day that schools are allowed to send out acceptances is October 15. The notification process goes through the spring, but I would be so happy to get the news early! Because the past three and a half years have been so busy with school, this month I am establishing two new goals: to spend more time with friends, and to organize some of my old stuff so that I have less work to do when I move. Today I hope to plan a ziplining trip with my friends, actually!

The healthiest thing I took the time to do this week was to make sure my meals were both filling and healthy. This coming week, I will focus on getting better sleep, because although I established a new sleep routine that has been working great the past couple of months, I have been insanely tired the last two days.

Highlights of my week:

As a Biochemistry Learning Assistant at my University, I hosted my first help session of the semester. It was so great to connect with students again after the pandemic put my work last semester to a halt. I also presented a project for a class, and I am glad to be done.

@99sunshine

Hey there!

Wow Medical school... how cool for you. Hopefully you will hear something sooner rather than later. I'd be going crazy waiting on news like that. I know how it was for me with Nursing School a long time ago.

Sounds like you have some really good goals to work on. Planning time with those we care about is always something I enjoy being able to do myself. And planning time to organize things in your life really helps create a better space for yourself all around. It can promote so much in the way of being more creative, more productive, and just feeling better physcially, mentally and emotionally.

Good for you for working on better and healthie Great job on Meal planning and working on getting enough sleep! Both very important in staying on track and helping you to reach your goals. And sounds like you had some great "highlights" over your week! Looks like you are really doing well and doing a great job for yourself. Continue to keep up the great work that you are doing!

Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things have been going for you! Please continue to keep us updated on how things are going with Med school.

**What is the HEALTHIEST thing that you took the time to do for yourself this past week?! Join 7cups

What is ONE "Healthy Habit" that you can take the time to focus on and do for yourself in the coming week ahead?! Exercise - even if it is just 10 minutes a day

**What is ONE Fun thing that you are doing this weekend or would like to do for yourself this weekend? Spend time with family

@CautiousKitten4644

Hello there!

I too was born, raised, and grew up in a place where the leaves turned all sorts of VIBRANT colors! I love that part the best back then. I too certainly remember how beautiful it all was to look at!

How great for you that you are wanting to take the steps to get back into a workout routine and that you are focusing on creating some goals for yourself to accomplish! Great job! What types of workouts do you like or enjoy? Finding something you like and enjoy can certainly help you to stick to it! Even getting out and about for up to 30 minutes a day to walk your neighborhood and look at all the changing leaves can be a great start!!

Congrats to you on taking the steps to join 7cups! Welcome! This is a really wonderful community and we are here to help support you in any way that we can and are able.

I see you say you are struggling with "healthy eating" at work?!.. Why is it that you feel you struggle with this so much? Could you perhaps take your own meals? Pre-prep, Pre-plan, or pack some healthier options for yourself could possibly help when you start to feel the need to reach for something thats not as beneficial to you. What is your routine currently? We can help you with some ideas if you'd like!

I can understand that you are feeling un-motivated or busy in your life that it could be hindering you from working out the way you'd like. I also understand that not everyone likes those morning workouts or wants to give up "sleep" to get up and do them!... (I'm one of those people! lol)...Not sure what your day looks like or what type of work that you do.. but how about during your lunchbreak? Would you be able to just get outside and walk for 10 minutes? 15 minutes? Perhaps divide up your lunch time eating your lunch , then walking the other half? (If able of course). Could you find perhaps just 3 hours a week or even 90 minutes a week at 30 minutes each, to make an appointment with yourself sometime. Just like you would any other appointment?! And find something you enjoy. It can be a video, a neighborhood walk, walking your pet if you have one, etc.... Just find something enjoyable that you like, that also gets you moving for up to 30 minutes. Or at least 10-15 to start! There are so many workouts that you can find right on YOUTUBE for only 10 minutes or so. Just type it in and the world is at your fingertips! We are totally here to support you! You can do it!!

Thank you so much for checking in and letting us know how you are doing, and how things are going for you. Please feel free to check back with us each week or as often as you'd like, and let us know how you are doing in your goals that you are setting for yourself. Or you can also feel free to message me personally and I can talk those things over with you if you'd like as well. Good luck to you!
