**This past week went fast...a little stressful in the beginning but, pretty much the usual week~ Stayed on track with Activity, Tracking, Water, (& for the most part sleep wasn't too shabby)~.... I had an issue with one of my Providers regarding my insurance, and knew they were in the wrong and not being billed right ,.. that caused some stress b/c I knew it wasn't being handled right. Which caused me to have to make a personal appearance at their office. Which didn't go over very well. That all caused Physical, emotional and mental stressors and anxiety~. Which interfered with my sleep a few days. Because I knew I was going to have to take matters into my own hands to hopefully see some results. Prayerfully this will be the last of it, as I'm done with the stress of it all.

**The past "First" week of Fall weather has still continued to be very hot/humid with temps still in the 90's F..... I'm still enjoying it and being able to get out and walk in it since I like to sweat and it helps me to continue to get my water intake in during outside and inside activities~. I'm still continuing to focus on my goals for myself and getting so very close to where I want to be. Its just keeping things "In-line" this time of year which can surely be tricky at times~

**I'm still sad to see the Summer officially come to its end but with the continued weather its like its still here. Prayerfully it will continue to last through October like it usually does.~ And I'm looking forward to October, My birthday, Halloween and the Holiday season ahead~ I'm also looking forward to continuing to stay "focused" and "on track" with my goals and what I'm doing~

**Today/Saturday, my intentions are to go to my friends Mid-morning Zumba class, and then head to Pound class directly after (as I will be helping to teach a song today on stage)~ And then possibly actually go out to dinner tonight with the hubs~

ENJOY THE WEEKEND~yes

@PoliteOcean

This has been a tough month for me as I've been ill for the last part of it, which threw off all my healthy ideas! I've been focusing actually on drinking more herbal teas - particularly mint and green teas. That's been going well for me so I'm going to hold onto that!

I've got my bullet diary ready for next month, looking to try and watch my eating (I'm an emotional eater and this past year has been extremely stressful for me), and focus on 3 square meals with planned snacks. I've got some exciting things planned for October at work so I think that will be a positive focus for me!

Today, I'm getting back to my group training class - Warrior Chic - and I'm really excited, even if I'm still a bit sniff-ly (i.e. sneezing and coughing), and then my BF and I will spend some quality time together this afternoon before I prep the bedroom for the last coats of painting that I need to do (am redecorating at the moment!).

Have a lovely weekend everyone!yes

Hey there!..

So great to hear from you this week!...

So sorry to hear that you haven't felt well this month! That is so challenging when we don't feel our best and it throws a bump in the road of our Healthy Living journey and goals~ frown.... I do hope that you are finally starting to feel better!

Sorry to hear that the this has been a tough year on your.. but its really great that you are doing what you can to feel better and get things back on track (By doing a bullet journal as well as looking to watch your eating). Every small step adds up to even bigger ones and they all count towards feeling good!

Wow.. October sounds like it will be an exciting time for you too??!! lol.. I Love October!.... Group Fitness classes are so fun and motivating! Its great that you are getting back to it!..

How nice that you are redecorating!... I'm sure that will also help you to feel better overall.. Sometimes re-creating the space around us can give us such a new (or different) and positive outlook and feeling on things!... What color will you be using?!

Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going for you!

*Hey everyone~ How Has the past week been going for you? Good!! Busy and I am working out more because I want to lose at least 55lbs. So its alot but I can do it. I am starting to notice the fat that was covering up my curves shrink and I am feeling lighter. Being pearshaped is alot more fat and your thickness is so much more than hourglass!! But I loved it and it really made me feel so good about myself!! I dont know what it is but I like have a thing for fat or being thick!! Its not just a love or i love myself its more than that. I have thought about at one point in my life to be a nutrionist or a specialist in weight gain/loss.

**This is our LAST Check-In for the Month of September! How do you feel this past month went for you overall? Good but I am ready for October

** Overall.....What do you feel were your accomplishments for this past month? I feel like with my work I was so sucessfull and also in my personal life with my relationships and my incredible beautiful body.

**What are you looking forward to the Most for the Month of October? What will you focus on? Do you have any new goals that you will be working towards? What are they? I will focus on mysefl, my girlfriend and my work. Also my other friends that need me.

@Zulegirl

Heyyy there!..

Wow... so you are working out more for weight loss!?... So do you work on getting smaller at this time of year, or is this something you are just working on because you are ready to lose the extra weight that you initially wanted to gain to appear thicker?,.... What workouts or fitness plans have you been working on?! How often will you do this? I would love to know what your next goals are with this!

Its so crazy because I've been thinking of the same thing lately!... (About becoming a nutritionist)!... Dealing with this journey as long as I have it feels like the 'next step'...(Or personal trainer of some sort?) lol... But I think that is a great goal if that is something you are still considering?!

Wow..seems like SOOO many people are ready for October!.. Lots of people seem to love it.. For me, its my birthday month.. But I think for many others its probably like that "Transition" month... Into the last part of the year, new goals, new plans, Fall and Fall weather, Holiday season etc...etc...

Seems like you also had Alot of accomplishment for yourself this past month that made you feel really good and successful about yourself. Thats great! It will be cool to see everyone's posts and how things are going for you all in the New month ahead! I see LOTS of goals being met for all of us!

Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things have been going in your world!~

@PoliteOcean

Sometimes I shrink my curves down because its that time of year! I will prob gain more because it is Fall and I eat all my comfort food during this time. Excited!! But I am trying to go back to 180 because that is my home weight. That is what I ook like in the profile picture!!

I strive to be more curvy and its really hard with my body and my metabolism and fat cells that I cant always be more Curvaceous. I end up just being Thicker. I enjoy both of them and I love the process. Its an incredibe feeling to have new curves that were not as "curvy" or as big as before.

So I wanted to try out Pear Shaped and see how it was and how it felt. I enjoyed it but it was also stressfull to have all that extra weight. I guss Pear was all about the Fat for me not as much about the Curve.

I am doing alot of running, lifting, yoga and dancing. I also have been swimming and early morning hikes/walks.

Last thing, I have been around other girls when I was younger who were doing this sort of thing. They just called it something different and I wanted to join I just was not thick enough at that point to learn.

Take Care

@ Polite Ocean. Well, it felt good not to have food poisoning anymore. It took a while to get rid of it completely. On Tuesday I went to see my kidney specialist. My kidneys are not getting worse, but they still need to be monitored. My follow-up appointment is in December. I'm still very sedentary. I'm not on the right medication routine. I still haven't found a new doctor yet.Thursday I finally got my prescriptions refilled after much aggravation. I'm taking a break from studying poetry, and I'm studying Russian literature instead. Right now I'm studying the plays of Chekhov. I love Chekhov, he's one of my favorites. I took myself out for a hamburger on Friday. I'm stranded unless someone takes me out. My house manager pulled the rug out from under me when she said she couldn't take me anywhere. This upcoming week I have an appointment with my endocrinologist. After I get that done I will feel a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. My possessions are still in boxes on the floor because I don't have my furniture from my old condo yet.

Hey there!....Its great that you are finally feeling better after the food poisioning incident!... I'm sure that was a challenging time to deal with. And its even better that your kidneys are doing well and NOT getting any worse for you. I really do hope that somebody helps you to finally get your medication routine on track as well getting you a new physician that you need.. But Its great news for you finally got your prescriptions dealt with and taken care of! Good for you in picking up another interest in Russian Literature. Sounds like you are really enjoying that.

How nice for you that were able to get out and get yourself a hamburger!... Its the little things!...And its great new that you will get to see your endocrinologist. I hope that you will be able to get your furniture from your old place soon!.. Hopefully you have an advocate working with you to work on these "little things" that need taken care of so your quality of life is the way you like it. Take care of yourself and thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you've been doing!

@PoliteOcean September was a roller coaster that's for sure! It was a good month, because everyday is a gift, but it was just so hot! Not being able to go outside I think affected me the most! But I stuck through it and now October will be here shortly! I am really excited for the fall... like really excited! The weather is beautiful and so is the landscape surrounding my hosue! I do have one goal I'd like to work on for October and that would be to try and get to the gym more! I walk everyday but I need the gym too!

Hey there!

Its nice that you were able to find the "Gift" in everything even though September was a challenging month for you!..its still incredibly warm/hot here as well...So I know what you mean. (I don't really mind it, but I like it better when I'm able to swim! lol)....I know it can be challenging to be or feel confined... (regardless of the reason) so I'm sure feeling like you couldn't go out in the heat made it difficult.

October is really a great time of the year for sure. Seems like lots of people I know are looking forward to too....Its one of my favorite months. So I can understand your excitement of it all!.... You must live in the Northern USA?? (Just taking a guess since you said the landscape was so beautiful around you).... .I remember when I lived in the North, and how beautiful it was this time of year.... SOOOO MANY COLORS!........ I live in the south now, and everything is kind of yellow and brown at the moment and starting to dry out lol....

And that is AWESOME that you are walking daily! I pretty much try to walk (Almost daily) between other workouts.. but I think its really great that you are wanting to increase your goals for yourself and add more to your plans! Continue to let us know how that goes for you! Sounds like you have lots of great goals and plans for the new month ahead! Keep up the great work and thanks so much for checking in this week!

@PoliteOcean Hi! So the month of September was a difficult one! I struggled with a few things... my main one was having drinking urges and I also had some issues with being bi polar (like having crazy, intense emotions)! I've been depressed more than I usually am. But the great news is I always have my positive coping mechanisms to back me up when times get really bad for me! I was able to pull myself through with meditation, walking, drinking tea, and reading a book about childhood trauma. Goodbye September!

@PoliteOcean

hello ocean!

this week was... not really good. i got lots of stomach pain on monday and it didnt get better the whole week, so i had to skip school and stay inside the whole time. due to this, i was not able to eat healthy or at least eat what i enjoy, because i had to stick to a diet because of the illness. But i am used to this, its nothing new, as i have been struggeling with this for years now. I am not allowed to workout either, so i feel really low-energetic.

this past month overall went good i guess! i am studying a lot. but i also sometimes have some time for myself.

my accomplishements this month were gaining my weight back (i lost it now again because of illness lol) and doing really well at school.

oktober!!! I am so looking forward to fall vibes, halloween, etc.! In Oktober i want to focus on school, of course, but also on trying to go out more often when i feel well again.

highlights this week: i am alive, i am reading a really good book, i watched harry potter!

struggles: illness, skipping an exam due to it, not working out, not being able to choose what i eat

weekend plans: its already sunday! so studying, and hopefully being able to have some self-care moments where i can read my book or just listen to the pouring rain outside.

Just touching base because I said that I would.

Staying on goal did not go as planned. Ive only walked twice. Ive been struggling with feeling very tired. I had emotional setbacks as well. I did try to eat more salads but everything is definitely still very undone and no where near a habit as far as healthy habits.

The one good thing that did come from failing to meet my own expectations is that I am now willing to face my fears about seeing a doctor.

Tomorrow hopefully I talk myself into going to a doctor just so I can get the referral for a sleep study. Once thats done the sleep study is going to put me on their ASAP list. (I almost had one in March and backed out so the sleep center already knows of me - and Im just glad they will accept me after cancelling on them).

Anyway, I have to allow others to help my in my health goals. And I have to put in the work and not give up so easily. Im hoping getting some help with sleep will make this uphill battle seem a bit more manageable... I really need to not be so fatigued physically and even mentally.

Going to try to dig deep this week and see if I cant make some progress. I feel like accepting that I need help was my progress this past week.

@PoliteOcean

I've been really struggling to stay on track with my diet after making huge progress in July, but I immediately got off track, and since the start of August, I'm gained 23 lbs, and I'm not quite sure how to get back on track. I'll start, do well for a day, and then get setback!

I am trying to keep working and pushing at it, but it's becoming frustrating, and uncomfortable at this size, and struggling to stay positive.
