**AND ANY & ALL THAT WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US~
🎄 This past week has been well & standard... Last Weekend I stayed home Saturday morning & got in a home-workout before starting off the day. And later on in the evening we got out & about to see a Christmas Lights display & got some dinner afterwards... Sunday started off with a Zumba class, & some light Holiday shopping later in the day. It was mostly a quieter weekend for me...
🎅 As the First week of December started off, the weather here has definitely seemed to make its transition into the colder & more seasonal time of the year.... And since we don't really get any snow, we tend to get lots of periodic rain... But, I got back on track with my regular routines & schedule, & my Group Fitness classes... But didn't get to enjoy any outdoor time due to the weather.... The holiday season is in full-swing here & thankfully I'm "mostly" done with my gift-shopping. I had much fun between Black Friday & Extended Cyber Monday Sales~ (Maybe a little too much)!
🎁 This weekend ahead, intentions are to get back to my Saturday morning Zumba class to start off the day & the weekend.. There's also a few Holiday events happening around town. Then some time touring more Christmas lights, some dinner, & definitely a Holiday movie or two!.. This First week of December my personal goals weren't off to the Strongest of starts for the month in all of my Target areas.... However, I'm looking forwards to continuing on with this month & finishing off stronger than I started, as we get ready to move into the 2nd week ahead~
HAPPY WEEKEND~
@PoliteOcean I've got a lot of great news this week. First of all Amanda and her 5 year old daughter Grace have moved out. That means the noise level is going to be a lot lower. The other great news is that my energy fields are shifting. It's really great. Furthermore my credit card company waived the $30 late charge. Finally, Leo agreed to pay for my internet data which is about $60 a month. I had a great convo with my long lost friend Bill. He hadn't responded to my texts and I was disappointed. It turns out he had broken his hip. He's back home now. I finished reading Salammbo by Gustave Flaubert. It's really great. I'm trying to stick with my French Literature theme for December. I'm also reading "The Sufferings of Young Werther" by Goethe. It's really good. It's my first book by Goethe. Edna doesn't work here anymore and I'm really happy about that because she had such a loud voice. John is moving out first week of January. I really wish I could rent this room for myself or move out. Thursday Justyce cancelled because her car was in the repair shop. I had a massage scheduled so I had to cancel. I'm still getting rid of clothes that remind me of my sick days. For this upcoming week I have a massage scheduled for Monday. Leslie continues to suck money out of my life and I don't know how to stop her.
@Regmo
Hey Regmo~ That’s definitely great news that they are gone from the house. Seemingly they probably shouldn’t have even been there in the first place. But I’m sure that will be very helpful for you going forward!…. Also, very Great news for you that other things are going well & coming together for you with your energy shift, a waived late fee, getting approval for internet coverage, conversation with an old friend, finishing a good book while also enjoying new ones, and a possible shift in your current roommate situation. That actually would be really great for you if you could afford to enjoy the room all to yourself! But otherwise all of that seems like great news for you. That’s too bad you had to cancel your massage, but good for you that you got a new appt scheduled for the week ahead, & also on tossing out old clothes & such that only bring negative vibes, memories, & energy. I totally understand that…. As far as Leslie, I wish there were easier answers there. I wonder if someone could assist you in looking into other personal care assistance options, even if only as future options should the time come (ie: your social worker)?.. Or, even a Therapist could assist with options if they are a good therapist that is. Hopefully answers eventually come regarding that whole housing & financial situation. In the meantime thank you for checking in to share what sounds like a pretty good week for you overall. And please keep us updated on how things are continuing to go.~
@PoliteOcean
Definitely a white Christmas for me ❄️❄️❄️
It's my favourite time of the year, I'm currently sick with the flu, so feeling alot of pressure as I have still so much to do 🩵🩵
@Amanda84
aww !!!
Feel better 💐

@peachThinker662
@Amanda84
Yes White Christmases are definitely a beautiful vision! ❄️☃️🎄🎁
But it’s too bad that you are feeling under the weather currently. Hopefully sooner than later that will change for you & you’ll start to feel better! ❤️🩹
But we thank you for feeling well enough to stop by & say hello and check in with us today! Feel better soon!
@PoliteOcean
@PoliteOcean
How are you doing & feeling Mentally, Emotionally, & Physically as we have entered this month & Holiday season?... And what Healthy steps can you put into place or take for yourself to enjoy a "less stressful" Season & month ahead?!.. mentally I’d have to say anxiety is decreasing. Emotionally some stress with waiting for things to prices with employment. This time of year is rough not having my sister physically but, I do get to enjoy the holidays with my nieces. Physically I’ve been trying to walk went the temperature isn’t too cold or wet. Dance in the living room. Less stressful steps would be to stay present. Focus on the here and now, take it a day at a time.
🎁JUST FOR FUN: Continuing in the Spirit of the Holiday, Would You Rather have a "White Christmas, OR, a Warm Christmas"?!... Warm Christmas. Snowy ones are beautiful but my body does better with warm. If it could be spring temperatures year round, I’d be very happy.
⭐What were your "Highlights or Struggles" of the week?... How were you able to work through your Challenges in a Healthy Way?! Challenges are the work situation. I became emotional. Crying. And beating myself internally with my thoughts. This is the first time I’ve acknowledged it and I think that’s a step towards growth. I read something “if you notice a negative thought, replace with 3 positive ones” trying to incorporate.

@peachThinker662
Hey there~
That’s always a plus when anxiety levels decrease. It definitely can help in leveling out & being able manage other things in a healthier way. And despite this time of year being a tough one for you, it’s wonderful that you have your nieces! And that you’re trying to get out & walk when able, & also Dance!! Which can both definitely help improve our mood! As well as taking things one day at a time. Great job to you there on all of those things & keep up the great work. 👍🏼
It’s totally understandable that you’d prefer a warmer Christmas when colder ones (despite how beautiful), are not compatible with your body. I have to admit as well that Spring is definitely a lovely time with those temps!
Inspite of your challenging moments & emotions this week, your feelings are valid regardless! But it’s truly awesome how you are trying to turn those emotions around in a healthier way by trying to incorporate “replacing negative thoughts with positive ones”! It’s ok to experience & feel the negative ones too. Being able to feel them as well as get through them & beyond them, is amazing. Keep going because you can do it! We are here to support you.
Thank you for checking in to share with us this week. And please continue to keep us updated!
@PoliteOcean
Hi, Ocean,
I'm going to try to be positive.
How was your week? One class down and one paper in the other class to go. I've started looking for a job. It's so much work. I have to read all the postings and look out for basic things that eliminate the job for me. Then there are scam job postings. I have to go through all the information in the posting only to find out that the institute doesn't have that job opening. Then there are scam institutes who want you to read through all their information only to find out they want money from you. I get a lot of job postings from various agents and then various states. Ugh! It is worse than studying. Oh, not to mention that I have to be careful of working hours from time zones behind me because of the last class I have to take in the spring. All these postings list this stuff in different places and then might not post it at all until you start to apply for the job. It's hair raising.
🎄This is our "FIRST" Check-in for "DECEMBER"~.... As we enter this 12th Month (& very last Chapter of 2025), it seems like yesterday that we had just started off the year?!... Time Flew by so quickly~.. What are you looking forwards to this Month ahead?!.. And what goals or intentions would you like to work on or achieve for yourself as we get ready to end another year?! I hope to keep working out, albeit very lightly. I also can't wait to go get past this last paper. I have to figure out a way to make it better. I just want to relax and be peaceful. I'd also like to see another year in with you all.
🎅 Sometimes December (or the Holiday season), can bring on or come with "Mixed" feelings or emotions for some people... It's strange, but I have a good feeling because I'm coming to the end of my masters degree. I'm not used to good feelings. I want to decorate for Christmas, but I probably won't much. I'm actually going to start to pack to move out even if it isn't until May.
🎁JUST FOR FUN: Continuing in the Spirit of the Holiday, Would You Rather have a "White Christmas, OR, a Warm Christmas"?!... a warm Christmas!
⭐What were your "Highlights or Struggles" of the week?... How were you able to work through your Challenges in a Healthy Way?! I told my sister that instead of moving in with her, I want to meet a man. I can tell that *** her off, but it made me feel better. I've been holding that information from her for a long time.
@purpleTree4652
Hi Tree~ That’s a great start in that your making a try for yourself to be Positive...
So to start, it sounds positive that you have one class now down, & only one paper to go for another!... Small steps, & definitely progress…. As far as the job situation, I know that’s not always the most positive thing to have to think on or worry about, but as with most things, when there’s a will there’s a way in the end. And things will come together… Even if it takes some time to figure it out & get there for yourself..
Good for you on placing some focus on hoping to continue working out. Even if lightly… Just making a goal to “move more” is enough! You don’t have to go long or hard!…. You have plenty of time to expand upon that later one small step at a time. :)
It’s good that you are feeling (good feelings), As you should in knowing that you’re coming closer to the finish line for yourself… As far as decorating for Christmas, it doesn’t have to be anything fancy! A string of lights around the door or window, or a Poinsettia on the table, or a small little “Charlie Brown-Type” tree in the corner with some accents is totally enough. Even a red blanket tossed over the back of a chair or couch for accent… Any small thing like that could spruce up an area & give you those Holiday vibes! Even in choosing just one or two of those ideas, will leave you with less to have to clean up or worry about after the holiday ends. But in the meantime, it could fill your heart with some cheerfulness & joy for a few more weeks! 😉🎄
As far as your sister, it’s good that you let her know your feelings. And that’s what counts, even if it wasn’t what she wanted to hear. But it’s your life. So you need what’s best for it. And if that’s finding a man, then we certainly are rooting for you & send our best!
Thanks for checking in to share with us this week Tree. We are here for you. So please continue to keep us updated on how things are going.
@PoliteOcean I would love to be in house say around midnight and watch the snow coming down as it once did when I was a child so thing bright and sparkled throughout.
The thing Maybe if its appropriate here but being you said if wanted to share I would say never assume. I recently back in September was given a medication somethin’ I had once b’fore years ago for osteoporosis. Apparently this time doctor didnt explain the directions and paper that drugstore gave the print was too small and I couldn't read it so going by how a majority of my meds are taken as well as how I took this specific med years ago I assumed it was the same way despite dosage being different... Well I assumed it was to be taken the same way. Come to find out yesterday after having my daughter look at things came to find out I was to take pill once a week NOT every day. I couldnt identify if symptoms that the med has was actually the meds making the changes in my body ‘cause many of the symptoms the medicine has I already have a history of due to my health issues.Plus the fact some issues I been having my granddaughter has been going through due to a bad cold so I pushed things aside. Moral of it all never assume you know. You may be familiar with the meds but years later may have a different dose or may not be good with your other meds. I was once told by my mother-n-law after learning I had been overdosed by a doctor never ever take medicine without first asking questions and researching what you will be putting in your body. Make sure the medicine you take that you are consistent with it taking it at the same time every single day. If you cant read the instructions like many of us seniors have vision issues try somehow to find someone who could read the instructions for you or ask your pharmacist. Its always best to be safe rather than be sorry later.
@eternalHero77
Hi there~
Yes I remember those days fondly as well… being a child, growing up & living in the North. I would watch the snow fall at night. The moon would cast its glow, & everything would shine & be so bright, sparkling & reflecting from the snow. ❄️☃️…It was So pretty. Especially the Icicles with the light on them. It looked like shiny bright sparkling glass~ … Unfortunately since I’m now in the South, those kinds of Winters are long gone since we rarely see snow here~
As far as the medication error, Yikes! As I’m a Nurse myself, I have to say that you are very, very fortunate to be alright. So thank you for sharing with everyone how VERY IMPORTANT it is to KNOW your medications! Not only What you are taking, but why. And if there is any misunderstandings about it, to always Check, & DOUBLE-Check the med, the dosage, the route to take it, & How much to take. And to always Ask or Even Call & clarify & verify with the Pharmacist!… And yes have someone you trust to help you if there are any vision issues to where you cannot see it & read it for yourself. These are All very important points… Again thank you for sharing.
And Thank you for checking in this week. And we’re also glad that you are doing Ok in spite of that medication error situation. Please keep us updated on how things are going.
@PoliteOcean
I needed a much-needed break. I was taking too much on and needed some time to self-reflect. Aside from that, I have severe arthritis, and my entire body has been in nothing but severe pain for a week.
I've also been sick, but with what, I don't know.
So, I've been resting a lot this week.
@ScorpiaD
@Amanda84
Thank you :)
@ScorpiaD
Yep been there myself~ The whole week of Thanksgiving after apparently overdoing things.. I didn’t think I was taking on too much, but my body must’ve thought so?! … Definitely not fun!.. But giving our bodies the rest we need when it tells us too is definitely best! And Hopefully you find the rest to be helpful & beneficial to your situation.
Keep doing what’s best for you! And good job on slowing down when you needed to. Because sometimes that can be difficult for those who otherwise might always be on the go.
And Thanks for checking in to share and letting everyone know how things have been going. Continue to keep us posted!
@PoliteOcean Hi Polite, Welcome to December 🥰✌️ So far, so good. Starting off without nicotine or sweets. Doing small bits of cardio everyday besides taking my dog for walks daily. Feeling good, so far. 🎉❤️
