What is one hobby you would like to see more people get into?
Hello everyone. I am curious about what everyone's hobbies are and what hobbies you would like to see other people be in or what hobbies you think are underrated?
I am a gamer but I also enjoy collecting things, such as plushies and little nicknacks. I also enjoy reading and listening to music. I was thinking about doing some more things such I have the summer off from university and I want to use this post as inspiration.
@Joyce25 I would say art and crafts, cause you can really express yourself and feel proud of your work💖 but if your looking for summer activities I suggest walking/hiking maybe doing a bit of photography on your walks💖

@Tinywhisper11 thanks for the suggestions. I used to foo a lot of art in middle school but I stopped over the years. I might try and get back into tho because I really did enjoy it. I do enjoy colouring at stuff.
I might have to go some hikes as well. there isn't too many areas around me that I can hike in but I'll take a look.

I'd love to see more people get into journaling....it’s simple and healing for me...😊😊
@DivineKarmainfinity I agree. I do a little bit of journaling and I definitely think it helps me keep my mental health good. Even if no one is seeing what I am writing it really helps to just get it out.
I love to journaling I too get to have a peace of mind with a good fresh book that’s ready to be written in and a great writhing pen. I think this would be great for lots of people to use it would help greatly.

My favorite hobbies are anything that involves making something! I love painting and the occasional pottery painting! Anything where you create something with your hands is underrated in my opinion!
@AutumnWind43 those sound like a lot of fun. I used to do knitting. I really enjoy building legos right now, they aren't the same as what you do but they still consist of making something
@Joyce25 My biggest passion is football 😁 not most people's cup of tea but I love watching football, talking about football and going to the matches 😁 During the summer I spend most of my time with my nephew's and nieces, painting, taking photos of butterflies, ladybirds and anything that catches the eye, fishing for tadpoles, building Lego, playing with dinosaurs, making experiments that usually ends with me covered in snot, glue, paint or water 🤣 going for picnics and building tents from assorted bedsheets usually 🥰

Something that I would love to see I don’t know if it’s a hobby but people coming together neighborhoods and just anyone to help each other with anything that another may need. Could be talking or advice or cooking babysitting laundry school work with the kids a place to stay or anything just people coming together and helping and lending out a helping hand.
@Tiablue28 yeah I agree. I think it would be really cool to see that. more neighbourhoods need something like this.

This is one of my favorites things to do I love making drinks interesting ones and making them look like they’re really cool like double colours and stuff it’s so fun and I think it’s such a cool hobby you could get into to make new things you would like or been craving

Ugh, painting!! It's honestly really easy to paint landscapes and it's so calming. I love to hang them around my home and everyone thinks I'm super talented LOL
@AbigailListener7Cups yeah it does seem really calming, you can really let your ideas flow.
I love making things but tend to jump around 😂 I just made some wooden frames for some canvases I bought so hopefully they come out well.
I have a question for you though! What games would you recommend for someone to get back into gaming? I bought an xbox 360 right when the xbox 1 came out and it still works perfectly despite not being updated any more. I also have an i5 laptop that's mostly for work and an ipad. I still play games like dragon age and fable but I've clocked so many hours on them I'd like other options!
@Qualiajs I enjoy making things as well. it is honestly so fun and you can be really creative with it as well.
For gaming there are so many out there. I would definitely recommend downloading steam if you can. it is a gaming platform with thousands of games on it. They have so many different types of games. Some of my favourite games are Night in the woods, Fran bow, Undertale, Identity V, Overwatch 2, Animal Crossing New horizons (for the switch). Guilty Gear Strive, Costume Quest, Banjo Kazoo (I think you can play this on the xbox. There are other gaming browsers such as Itch.io, Gog, epic games so I would definitely take a look at them. Just browser through the games and see what is appealing to you.
