What profession / talent are you in awe of?
It could be something you do yourself or youre simply just amazed / inspired by looking.
For me its signing. I have a terrible voice. But whenever I listen to a good voice in a song and how it calms my heart... I instantly feel in awe of how gifted that person is...
I find several professions quite valuable... doctors teachers since they impart knowledge and care and save lives and groom the young.. revolutionary leaders/ writers are of course very inspiring in that grand sense.
But talent like singing hits another category. Its the kind of talent that just dilates my pupils... I think its because I'm so bad at it myself, for me , a good voice with melody and soulful lyrics is just the ultimate blend to relieve my heart... and im always truly in awe of those who are so blessed to have that kind of voice.

The first thing that comes to mind are people who crochet. They just amaze me with how they take yarn and turn it into beautiful creations all by hand. It's magnificent and a pure gift! I've tried to be taught and could never grasp it to learn. My sister, on the other hand, is self taught and she's incredible! Anyone with this gift is A+ in my eyes! 😍🥰

Yeah I agree. Embroidery would fall in the same skills set . Google "shawl embroidery" . It always amazes me how people are so gifted to create such art work with their hands.

Have you ever tried loom knitting? I have tremors so I can't crochet or use knitting needles, but I can make beautiful blankets on my loom!
@SelfCareMattersAww, I bet your blankets are beautiful! I'm happy you found something that works for you! I have this little loom kit thingy that is supposed to help me make pot holders to try but I am not consistent so I never finished. I just stop trying because I realize even if I could master it, I wouldn't continue because it's nit something I'm passionate doing or enjoy. Lol.

Ah yeah. Ive always considered those working with animals to be compassionate in a much broader sense.. to look beyond their own species and look after another... it speaks of a humble loving heart ❤️

I've had about 30 years of being active in the medical system. I've seen a lot of nurses.
Every once in a while you'll get the ones that are just downright mean and so unhappy with their jobs. I feel bad for them. But the majority of them do their jobs while being so sweet, and it just amazes me. Especially the ones that have been nurses for YEARS. The ones that have seen it all, done it all, and are still happy to help you. All of the crazy or sad things patients go through, and they just move through it with grace and compassion. I could never do a job like that. I'm not strong enough.
