What things do you like to collect
What things do you like to buy, collect, or horde? (Like purchasing books, picking up unique stones, etc)

@genericbeing
Football memorabilia 🥰

@Amanda84
Nice.
Animals, rocks, thrifted trinkets, plants…
@Itsallpeachy555
Wait, animals? 😦
Lots of things! Crystals, games and Pokemon cards!
@genericbeing I would like to collect toys (Cars, DIY, Lego). Despite being 47, I still look for toys on Amazon, but I don't buy them because I have nobody to play with. :(
Buy them! Just do them by yourself <3
@genericbeing
Hi Non generic being! 😊 ❤️
Thank you for yet another fun forum post! 😊❤️
Over time it seems as if I have ended up with a few categories of things that are little collections.
I'm a avid cook so I have 26 cookbooks and a few 3 ring binders of recipes that I put together.
Fragrance. I have quite a few perfumes and "Bath and Body Works" sets.
Antiques. Some family pieces passed down and some things I have picked up along the way, refinished, given new life to.
CD collection 🎶 .
Antique (hand stitched, no machine stitching) quilts made by family members from long ago and passed down.
Books.
How about you Non generic being? Wondering if you like collecting things and if so, what do you enjoy?
*high fives* 😊 and *hugs* ❤️
@SparkyGizmo Oooo antiques. Those are fun to collect. :)
I collect Dvds, I have like 2,000. They take up a lot of room. I collect books too. I like Penguin classics and Barnes and Nobles literary classics. I also have a few 1800s era books, I love the art in my art deco 1920s books. I even have a brother Grim book from the 1800s, and an Arabian Nights one. I also collect crows, and hatchets because I throw them. Oh and I have a lot of decks of cards, I make card towers.

@genericbeing
Your collections are fascinating, as are you! 😊 ❤️ I gotta' say, I think you are one of the most interesting people that I have met here on the platform. Just sayin' 😊
I'm guessing you could hold your own, have a lively discussion in regard to any topic under the sun. Funny, smart and kind takes the win for me! My friend, you are locked and loaded. You are "packin' the triple threat and that can be quite a rarity to find. *hands you the triple threat trophy* 🏆 I hope you hold your head high and strut. You rock! 😊
*high fives* 😊 and *hugs* ❤️
@SparkyGizmo I'll walk like this after I get my trophy

@genericbeing
hah ahah ahaha hahaha 🤣
Well, and funny thing is, as mentioned on another forum post, I'm trying to make friends outside with a certain crow! I've been considering trying for many months after researching best ways and darn if a Mr. Crow didn't come lookin' for me a couple of days ago 😳
When the universe speaks 💫, I listen so, I'll take a wait and see approach. I wonder if he'll come visit me again after I left treats for him? ❤️
@SparkyGizmo Hey cool! I made friends with a old squirrel similarly for about 2 years, he would even come when I whistled. It was fun, even if I was in the park and there were like 30 squirrels about I'd whistle and my guy would walk up to me and the other squirrels would be all like "what the heck dude?" seeing him come up to me fearless. He even climbed my leg like three times so I didn't move and he didn't hurt me, he just walked on me, he was very light. I hope you become close friends with your crow friend :) I used to want a pet crow but I heard they live 25 years which is a long time for a pet. Someone told me they like blood soaked in biscuits because they eat meat a lot. And I've heard some crows will give you trinkets if you feed them.
@genericbeing
❤️❤️❤️
@SparkyGizmo Oh to get my squirrel friend really loyal it took me about 8 months. I first threw out peanuts to him like 15 feet away, then I slowly got him closer, 10 feet, then 5, then he was eating from my hand, and by the end he would climb on me for food. He seemed scared to hear my voice so I wouldn't talk, just whistling worked. I've heard animals are afraid of human voices because its in their dna or something. So try whistles.
@SparkyGizmo I bet you're a very good cook

@genericbeing
*shrugs shoulders* 🤷♀️ I try, that's for sure! 😊
Hey, last time I cooked, hardly no one got sick 😁 🤭 🤣
*high fives* 😊 and *hugs* ❤️
@SparkyGizmo No one getting sick is 90% the battle, the flavor can come later lol
@genericbeing
No one has ever gotten sick from eating anything I've made. It's just a fun thing to say though 😁
