Journey to self love
The Relationship with self is an important concept to me because having a good relationship with yourself can be the key to unlocking your full potential.I have learned that skills such as speaking positively to yourself, showing compassion to your weaknesses, and self confidence can create a positive and healthy mindset that benefits you in the long run. I am still continuing my journey on bettering my relationship with myself. Does anyone have any tips or motivational words. Even some personal experience would be wonderful.

@Avony Be patient with yourself. Growth takes time, and every small step counts. You’re already on the right path just by paying attention to your relationship with yourself. You’ve got this.
I think this course has given us a great opportunity to really think about making, and keeping a good, healthy relationship with ourselves. I hope we could all continue this journey!

I recommend writing down a few things you think you did well each day!

I’d say try to be on your own side, like you would be for your best friend — support yourself, be kind, and don’t be too hard on yourself when things aren’t perfect.
@Avony
Hi Avony,
I completely agree with you!
For me personally, journaling and exercise have always helped with my relationship with self- those things reinforce a sense of happiness

One thing that’s helped me is learning to treat self-talk like I would talk to someone I care about. If I wouldn’t say it to a friend, I try not to say it to myself. It slowly shifts the tone from criticism to support.
Another helpful habit is noticing progress instead of perfection. Even small wins count, especially on days when motivation is low.
And honestly, building a better relationship with yourself isn’t a straight path—it’s something you keep returning to. Some days you’ll be kind to yourself naturally, and other days you’ll slip back into harsh thinking, but the awareness itself is already progress.
Keep going with it. The fact that you’re reflecting on it already shows you’re doing the work most people avoid.
