Hi everyone! I hope you are well. Week 1 of our community building course has started! Please read this post for more information. For week one, please read and thoroughly understand the following document consisting of chapter 1 and chapter 2 summary of the get together book.

Ask yourself the following questions to ensure understanding:
What is the main message of each chapter?
How does each chapter apply to 7 Cups?
How can YOU help with the aim of each chapter?
Once you have read and understood please take the following quiz. The quiz consists of a variety of questions including essay questions that test your comprehension. In order to move forward to the next week and eventually receive your certificate, you need at least a score of 8/10. If you get a less score, dont worry you can submit again.

What is the main message of each chapter?
I feel like chapter 1 focuses on the community's members, vision and goals - the 'who' and 'why'.
Chapter 2, on the other hand, centers on the group activities -what the community can do together?
How does each chapter apply to 7 Cups?
Chapter 1 applies to 7 cups as it outlines the mission of the community. 7 cups is a support platform that allows everyone to be support and/or volunteer their support.
Chapter 2 is relevant to 7 cups because it encompasses the group's activities. There are many activities that take part in 7 cups which include listening sessions, trainings, group-chat talks and forum discussions.
How can YOU help with the aim of each chapter?
I can help actualize chapter 1 (7 cups mission) by first understanding it's purpose then acting in alignment with the community's goals. I could also share the group's principles and protect the site from activities that are contrary to 7 cups values.
Implementing chapter 2 involves participating in 7 cups activities. This may include taking 1-1 member chats, attending group chats or posting on the forums.
