What gives you that sweet, sweet Gender Euphoria?

Hi, lovelies!
Amidst everything going on, it's so important we regularly pause to celebrate the moments that bring us joy and affirm who we are. These moments can be powerful anchors and reminders of our authentic selves.
Gender euphoria = the happiness we feel when our true gender is affirmed, either by ourselves or those around us. The flutter in your chest, the surge of confidence, the "that's me!!" giddiness. The sense of rightness that's confirming who you are is in alignment, and you are being seen.
- What experiences have given you gender euphoria? e.g. outfits, a makeup trick, hairstyle, a way someone referred to you, a physical change, a moment of self-recognition, or anything else that sparked that wonderful feeling of alignment.
- What helps you feel affirmed in your gender identity? What actions, words, or environments (online included) make you feel truly seen and validated for who you are?
Gender euphoric expressions are unique to everybody across the spectrum. Tell us yours and read others. You may be pleasantly surprised and even inspired!

A few for me:
- having friends refer to me as my chosen nickname that aligns with my gender identity
- wearing heavier jewelry, beanies and clothes that make me feel more androgynous/masc
- buddies online using "he" pronouns which is one i don't mention a lot so it shows they're paying attention
@Heather225
i'm 100% here for the androgyny, heavier jewelry, and beanie part.
your one awesome person.
@Heather225
so, i'm agender and i still physically look like a girl (well, i guess there really is no "look" for being agender but how i look plays a huge part with my gender) and i been dressing masculine since 6th grade, and i always told people over these past few years about my new constantly changing gender and pronouns (which i now use all pronouns, they/them preferred) and it just feels so good when someone refers to me as they even though i use all pronouns.
i grew up with a homophobic environment at both home and school so, its awesome to see at least one person with respect because i too would use different pronouns if thats what someone wants to use. (recently, i read this book called genderqueer, awesome book by the way, i 100% recommend. its about this person named maia and how e got eir pronouns and that e uses e/eir/em pronouns.)
@Nate715
by the way i dressed masculine on purpose because i hated when someone would say i should dress more feminine, i wanted to look androgynous and non-gender presenting or something.
My favorite moments are when my voice comes out deeper than I meant it to. I love the things that still surprise me, like how fluffy my chest hair gets in the summer.
And I just recently found a pair of shorts that fit me perfectly. Finally.
@tiredlittleguy
real. shorts don't fit anymore but YES! I love when people don't reffer to me as any gender at all! my pronouns are they/she but I still like it when people reffer to me as they/them :3

Hi! My first time here on these forums. I'm AFAB cis aro, non-conforming via androgyny, here's my take:- Multiple layers of clothing or baggy clothing to make myself look bigger (to suit my internal energy - a rather "loud" one) and to have a more neutral silhouette
- Going barefaced or extremely light makeup when going outside
- Keeping my hair short (lighter on the head, I don't have to put stuff on my hair just to keep it up or away from my face)
- Wearing non-metallic couple accessories/items on myself (I feel cute in them, plus it's just so funny to me)
- Allowing people to refer to me with any pronouns they see fit online (I tell others to not apologize for messing up pronouns, since I don't particularly want to use anything for my own self) (also when people stick to using the pronouns they first used with me even after finding out my gender)
- Being among "nerds" (because I get to surround myself with people with a shared passion regardless of identity, more emphasis on the person themselves is affirming for me)
- Voice acting (I have no explanations for this one, or I guess it's just hearing my own voice in action...? I get to "be" whoever I want, and I think it's cool)
The euphoria is moreso affirming my being female that's less fem rather than more masc. Just that slight nuance. Really makes a difference, and boy does it feel good!
@Heather225
Friends calling me by my preferred name, doing a feminine hip walk, doing eyeliner, wearing my handmade skirt, and, oddly enough, playing animal crossing.
@chaoticEnbyAxolotl89 Oh yes, the walk! I was self-conscious about it for so long, but now I found myself break into it randomly.
Big ones for me:
- Getting "ma'am"-ed in public by strangers
- Wearing things that emphasize my breasts or booty
- A good hair day
- When my kids "accidentally" call me Mom
- Being giddy about something and letting it show in public
- Seeing myself in a femme character on TV or in a game
