Nice cerb, I find particularly running (provided the body allows it) is a great distress exercise.

@amiablePeace77 people may not think of chores being self care but it helps me to accomplish things. Finished mowing the lawn today. And while I was at it I pulled up some of the oak trees sprouting because squirrels forgot where they buried them. lol

@soulsings nice to see you! I do think that chores help us focus and sometimes feel safer. Like you many feel tey accomplished something. I do miss mowing the lawn and weeding and planting out doors. But I have no time for those kind of chores. So that is what is growing around-more silly oak treessurpriseGood job Souls for getting the outside work doneheart

I just finished a body scan meditation on the growth path. I haven't done one of those for a while. I've recently tried out some of those relaxing art sites and I really like them.

hmm I ate some ice cream!!? lol I was in a heavy chat about life with my oldest, she was in a bubble world and well- ha parenting. I found I was feeding off of the way she was feeling so ........... I started to tap my leg. She didn't notice but I did. I slowed my breathing down and my tapping also slowed down. I was able to hear her more and offer the right emotional support she neededheart

I've been going out for longer walks and using the senses to mindfully take it all in and be in the moment. Notice so many sounds and feelings. Tonight I also practised qigong, I stopped on my walk at a beautiful view of hills and trees to practise. Qigong includes mindful breathing and slow flowing movements. I felt very calm

I really loved what you shared here, connecting with nature so deeply is not only relaxing but also brings us closer to what

@amiablePeace77

Both, I've been doing a class on zoom during lockdown and also found some great videos on youtube to help me practise regularly. It helped me learning all the theory behind it as well as the actual movements. I've been reading a great book Qigong and the Tai Chi Axis. It definitely grounds me.

It's a good idea to learn more about Tai Chi and Qigong, those practises exist for a long time already and have proven to be very helpful.

I recently did an ABC trauma worksheet, but that's not new! Just haven't done it in a while. Mainly, I bought myself some CBD to see if it helps me! I'm eager to potentially see some results.

Its great to hear how much you take care of your well-being, sorry though that youre suffering from the effects of trauma. I hope the CBD helps, did you buy it as oil?

**What I have recently done for my wellbeing... was first, (after losing one of my Zumba classes during the whole Covid thing)... I decided to take matters into my own hands instead of waiting...., and as of June 1st started my Own "outdoor" class and working for myself instead of someone else who was only hindering my mental wellness!

**And more recently, we took a drive to the Beach this past weekend and spent some time there just relaxing~ Theres not much more peaceful for me than sitting by the Ocean all day!~
