Defeat Overthinking with Mindfulness
Daily Check-In June 26th to June 28th 2026
Overthinking is a reaction to stress. We all go through stress sometime in our lives, and we may overthink what the process is telling you. Mindfulness helps you observe the problem through patterns to find a solution to the problem.
Overthinking turns into a mental situation. Overthinking can make it look like you may be second guessing at a solution. Overthinking is like a continuous loop a thought swirling around like a cloud. Healthy thinking is a project that involves planning.
Here are some ways to stop the overthinking in your mind:
Embark on the exploration: Know that overthinking is a common mental habit. Everyone gets caught in the loop at times, how you release the loop is the question.
Create a mental state: Visualize the overthought like a painting. How am I going to paint the negative into a positive beautiful picture. This is where you lay down the foundation for clarity and ease.
Witness the thoughts with compassion: Look at the thought and try not to be judgemental about it in stead look for a solution to the thought and make it go away.
Anchor in the present moment: Ground yourself into the now and make the overthinking a thing in the past. put the over thoughts to rest and release them. USing mindfulness helps you ground yourself with relaxing the shoulders, having calmer breathing and not being harsh on yourself.

How can you release the overthinking and bring yourself back to the present?
What helps you to stop overthinking?
