Mindfulness Check In April 22 - 25 2024
This week's post is about skills that empower us in our daily life.
We struggle daily in our life and try to be mindful each day. We try to struggle to return to mindful to keep each day positive. We all have had moments when we are really stressed in our life and use mindfulness to bring us down.
While e may use meditation daily it is not enough to be mindful in our lives. We can rebuild our defaults using mindfulness, below are skills we may use.

What are some skills you may use to be mindful in your daily life?
what skills work better for you, please share with us ?

@pamharley003. I have found learning to let go and acceptance of failure/grief as well as many other of life’s difficulties to be helping me to be more mindful.
@adventurousBranch3786
I take failure as a learning curve to teach me what i did or say wrong. Grief i have accepted as someone is not suffering anymore. I basically do my best every day because I do not know what tomorrow will bring and keep things from the past back there and try not to relive them
@pamharley003
Having good life skills is so important. Thank you for this post pam!
To me letting go is one of the most important life skills because when we stop engaging in negative thoughts and let them be life becomes so much easier so this is something I practise regularly as well as acceptance.
@amiablePeace77

@pamharley003
You are doing a wonderful job on the posts pam!
@pamharley003
Some skills I may use to be mindful in my daily life are:
- RAIN (recognize, allow, investigate, nourish) with carE (clear communication, award achievements, recognition and reward, Empathy - capitalized as is the foundation) using the 4D's: delay, distract, deep breath, drink water
- Reflection, reparenting and relaxation practices using Finch app, Voidpets app, and YouTube premium downloaded podcasts from Harvard business review for walks and fun music for working out or soundscapes or noise for sleeping without disruption and my self care tarot and oracle or other cards and CBT and DBT tools and workbooks and self help books
- Overeating, overspending and overdoing how much I worry, hurry, rush and fuss, then using fuel from that to dump on the blame-shame fire until my life is just ashes and bone and I'm being crushed and mauled in the jaws of depression and anxiety.
I mean I think we can all see which one is not like the other.
Sorry for such a *** answer.
@pamharley003 I do art, it's a great way to express yourself ❤ I also do brain teaser things. It's not your normal kind of mindfulness, but it helps me 😁 I also talk to God, keep an open mind when speaking to people, and love learning new things ❤
How are you feeling?? I hope not in much pain with your hip ❤
