I love opening the windows when it is misting rain outside the smells are awesome, freshly baked goods cakes, cookies, cupcakes. the smell of the fresh air on my bed sheets hanging outside to dry

The smell of homemade bakery is just wonderful! I also find that I sleep better in a freshly made bed.
One scent that I love the most is when you get off the plane in Hawaii and you breathe in the warm, humid air scented with plumeria flowers. It makes me feel welcomed.

I find the rain brings out the earthy smells of the forest, the damp moss, the flowers... . Do you have a favorite essential oil with earthy scents?

Don't do essential oils, personally. However, I have come across some mint scents I have liked.

I find mint scents very helpful with breathing problems. When we have a lot of African dust in the air, mint oil helps.
I love that slight smell of sand and the salt water when the breeze is just right at the beach. That makes me happy and calms me.

Smelling the salt water and feeling the breeze sounds very refreshing too.
palo santo! they burn this wood in Peru as incense - it smells amazing! It reminds me of the times I played in the processional bands in Miami with Peruvians every October :)

Wow, that must have been a great time for you in the band! I read that palo santo also might help with pain, inflammation, and stress.
