I workout everyday, use this website, listen to positive songs, and plant new seeds and flowers. All of these help me release my energy!

@8Moonlight

I really loved what you shared here, particularly getting in contact with nature. It's wonderful to see the flowers blooming from the seeds you planted. My grand'ma used to tell: "It's important that you plant good seeds".smiley

I listen to music. Also, during my breaks at work, I go on walks (practicing safe social distancing of course). :)

Nice to hear that you get outside for a walk and of course stay safe. Nature can be such an amazing healer.

@LexIris

Not sure if you are on lockdown too but I find if I do not keep fit whilst staying more in the house I feel more tired than usual, so keep the body moving is important to me.

@amiablePeace77 Hi! I love what you posted. I think that I will definitely try it out. I have a workout bike at home, and have been releasing energy on my Peleton through taking classes daily. I am really grateful I have the resources to do that.

@amiablePeace77 I feel when you do a check in- you are like right in my life lol. Weird right.

How do you release energy these days?

I will be honest it is hard. Also I had to get out of the house a bit ago. Went to get food for turtle and back home. Mostly I try and do things with my kids. They are easy to get going and run around the house and be silly. But as I've shared tbh it is hardheart

@RumpleSteeleSkin

Rumple, hugs. I guess for people who are usually very busy outside (like you with your patients and classes) it must be extra hard to stay inside. Hope you will find something that relieves your energy.

These days I do more inside walking "1 Mile Happy Walk [Walk at Home 1 Mile] https://youtu.be/njeZ29umqVE"

I bought a weightset (bench and rack) and i'm pretty much training in powerlifting everyday. Really helps release a lot of the aggression. Then after my shower I medicated for at least 5 minutes. That combo of physical exertion and relaxation really calms me down.

@Carousel33

Sounds like a good investment for your health. I never did powerlifting but read that powerlifting can help to delay the aging process.

I've been keeping up with Daily walks with my mom just to get outside in fresh air, and to get exercise and activity in... As well, as a Zumba Intructor, there have been a HUGE amount of Zumba class "Livestreams" daily everywhere on social media as well as Zumba.com for those of us that are instructors. So I'm able to keep up with my workouts while feeling isolated.

But, I've also been continuing to work on projects around the house that have been long over-due for my attention. And looking forward to getting them ALL done, as well as continuing to work on Choreo for my classes when I do in fact get to return to teach them....

@amiablePeace77 I tried the Tai Chi video out. I think it's cool, although it made me aware that I am quite uncoordinated. lol

@resourcefulPond1641

Hey, glad to hear you tried the Tai Chi. I hear you, had same feeling when I started yoga and tai chi. I think it's because a lot of muscles are engaged which we do not use that much on a daily basis, so this is a good way to explore your body. It get's better though with practise.
